Fab holiday

This is the best holiday rental we have stayed in . The house is so well equipped , spotless clean and the hosts are lovely . Lovely welcome gifts and home made treats as well as great recommendations for places to eat and visit. Giselle and Jean Pierre were the best hosts and it was a privilege to stay in their beautiful house. Would recommend this property .

Great place to stay

An excellent property, very clean and well equipped. Lovely kitchen, well fitted with midern appliances. Everything that you need. Very easy walk into the beautiful town of Monpazier. Several very good restaurants and small shops including small supermarkets. Ideal location for touring the area. Excellent hosts with several gifts on arrival. We will definitely be returning to this property.

Unforgettable Stay at Giselle and Jean-Piere's Home

Our stay at Giselle and Jean-Piere's charming home exceeded all expectations. As a family with a 1.5-year-old, finding a clean and well-equipped accommodation is essential, and this place went above and beyond. The cleanliness was impeccable, reflecting the care our hosts put into maintaining the house. It felt instantly inviting, allowing us to unwind and enjoy our stay. Formidable séjour

S'il y avait un mot plus fort que "parfait", je n'hésiterais pas à l'employer. Tout d'abord l'emplacement de la maison situé à 300 m de l'entrée de la bastide. La maison par elle-même, de construction récente est impeccable et parfaitement entretenue. Le jardin très agréable avec son "kiosque" végétalisé dont nous sommes tombés amoureux pour le déjeuner malgré la canicule de ce mois d'août. L'équipement de la maison est de très bonne qualité, impeccable et particulièrement complet. Détails importants : les locataires qui arrivent tard, un dimanche ou un jour férié trouveront de quoi cuisiner au minimum (sel, poivre, condiments, sucre, café, thé, etc...), les lits faits ainsi que du linge de maison en parfait état, ce qui n'est pas courant. Nous étions à moto et celle-ci a pu être garée dans le garage. Je garde le meilleur pour la fin : les propriétaires... D'une grande gentillesse et pleins de générosité. Une bouteille de vin local, pot de miel "maison" délicieux car Jean-Pierre possède ses propres ruches et plein de petites attentions tout au long de nos 15 jours de présence. Un couple dont on a envie qu'ils deviennent des amis. Nous y retournerons à coup sûr.

We absolutely loved our time here, and Jean Pierre & Giselle were wonderful hosts. The location could not be better, and the accommodation is charming. Everything you could possibly need was provided, and the garden was a wonderful place to relax. Monpazier holiday home

We had a lovely reception from our hosts who were very helpful and considerate. The house was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything you could possibly need, it was comfortable, quiet and just a short walk from the village centre. There was a lovely garden with various places to sit or to eat and it was well tended and very relaxing. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and we will definitely be returning .

Gite superbe en Périgord Pourpre

Notre séjour s'est superbement passé dans ce gite superbe tant au niveau de la prestation du gite que son emplacement en Périgord Pourpre. Nous nous sommes senties très attendues avec une maison impeccable et propre, aux équipements haut de gamme, et beaucoup de cadeaux de bienvenue en produits du terroir local et produits de 1ères nécessités afin de n'être pas dépourvus à l'arrivée et n'avoir pas besoin de courir faire des courses à peine arrivées..... Nos différents contacts avec les propriétaires ont été plein d'attention pour notre arrivée, renseignements divers afin de trouver au mieux le gîte et les commerçants pour nos courses, à l'arrivée nous avons trouver nos "accueillants" là nous attendant et nous accueillant avec une grande gentillesse.... Nous avons trouvé un gîte propre et avec toutes les garanties de désinfection en cette période de Covid.... Pendant le séjour une attention particulière des propriétaires juste pour savoir si tout se passait bien.... et encore des petites attentions comme nous laisser une petit panier des cèpes trouvé en rentrant de promenade... L'emplacement idéal de ce gite permet de découvrir la région du Périgord Pourpre avec ces bastides et villages médiévaux sans faire trop de kms, et le gite n'étant qu'à une centaine de mètres de le porte de Monpazier nous avons pu apprécier cette bastide et faire des courses auprès d chez nous sans prendre la voiture, ou prendre un verre sur la place et découvrir le village et ses artisans.... Merci encore aux propriétaires de nous avoir accueilli avec autant de gentillesse.

The best equipped gite we have ever rented. Ideally situated just outside the walls of the bastide. The warmest of welcomes from the very helpful and generous owners. Everything contributed to a great stay. Highest recommendation!

Août à Monpazier

Notre séjour à Monpazier a été en tout points très agréable grâce à l’accueil des propriétaires, aux « petits soins » pour notre arrivée avec le diner qui nous attendait. au document de référence de la location très soigné, documenté et complet au confort de la maison intérieur comme extérieur. En plus nous avons eu la chance d’être à la saison des reines-claudes au nombre et à la richesse des sites à visiter, châteaux, paysages, jardins, jardins, … Une adresse à retenir pour visiter le Périgord.

Great holiday in Monpazier

The property is in an excellent position, a short walk to the centre of Monpazier. Parking facilities are excellent. All feels secure. The garden is spacious, the rooms also. It is an easy and comfortable house to live in. Everthing is provided. The owners are helpful, generous and reliable.

A converted Gite to a lovely, comfortable house

Giselle and Jean-Pierre were perfect hosts and made us very welcome.They left us a lovely selection of home made products with wine and essentials. Monpazier is a beautiful medieval village with a good sprinkling of shops, cafes and restaurants and is only 25 miles from Bergerac airport. It is very convenient for exploring other beautiful medieval towns and villages around the Dordogne area with their local markets and histories. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house with all its' modern facilities and only a 2 minute walk to Monpazier centre. Particular Pair

Un accueil remarquable et une maison très bien située dans laquelle rien ne manque.

Nos hôtes, Gisèle et Jean-Pierre, ont tout mis en oeuvre pour que nous soyons bien et que nous ayons à disposition tout ce qu'il nous fallait. Merci et bravo! La maison avec garage et parking est à proximité du centre de Monpazier. C'est donc à pieds que nous avons pu aller chercher notre pain, aller au marché ou au restaurant. Avec un temps superbe, nous avons beaucoup profité du jardin pour y manger, lire et se reposer sur les transats, au soleil ou à l'ombre, car les deux sont possibles. Et durant nos deux semaines nous avons également pu visiter beaucoup de sites de la vallée de la Dordogne et de la vallée de la Vézère, à des distances tout à fait raisonnables. Impossible de s'ennuyer! et que c'est beau! Pour résumer: des vacances réussies

Sejour parfait

Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans cette location. Propriétaires charmants et très accueillants (nous avons été gâté à notre arrivée, des spécialités régionales à déguster nous attendaient). La maison est parfaite, rien ne manque et la proximité du centre de la bastide est un vrai plus. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Excellent séjour aux Portes de la Bastide - MONPAZIER

C est la 3ème fois que nous séjournons dans cette location et nous n' avons jamais été déçus. L' accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux , les propriétaires sont de véritables ambassadeurs du tourisme dans ce beau département qu'est la Dordogne... beaucoup de professionnels devraient en prendre de la graine. le gite est toujours aussi parfait, propreté, confort et commodités....quel plaisir d aller à pieds faire ses achats, il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans ce village magnifique et si pas envie de cuisiner les restos sont à 2 minutes . Pour résumer, dans le sud-ouest , du printemps à l automne qu' est ce qui commence par un F et qui finit par N .....je suis sur que les propriétaires ont trouvé la réponse .....une........ Formidable locatioN !!!!!! Au plaisir de revenir à Monpazier, çà c 'est sur. A bientôt

Ideaal gelegen, op wandelafstand van de Bastide Monpazier

Mooie, comfortabele, goed onderhouden woning. In rustige buurt en toch dicht bij de Bastide met verschillende restaurants en winkeltjes. Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaars met als welkomstgeschenk zelf gemaakte producten uit eigen tuin en andere streek specialiteiten. Ideaal gelegen voor uitstappen in de Périgord. Een aanrader!

Remarquable!

Une maison spacieuse et fraîche, même par grosse chaleur et très fonctionnelle ( tout est prévu, même pour un petit enfant) avec un jardin ombragé. Une situation idéale: à deux pas de la bastide et des commerçants et au coeur d'une région riche de découvertes. Et , en plus, des propriétaires adorables qui vous accueillent avec des cadeaux de bienvenue, vous donnent envie de découvrir leur région et sont aux petits soins. Une adresse à recommander chaudement.
