Allure Beach House - Currarong

Allure Beach House is a perfect beach getaway for you, your family and friends to relax in and enjoy your beach escape. It is located in Currarong, a beachside village surrounded by the Jervis Bay Marine Park.

The house is centrally located with just a short 150m stroll through the parkway to the creek and main beach. If you follow the foreshore you will arrive at the rock pool and Abrahams Bosom Beach, with tennis courts and the skate park only 500m away you will be sure to keep the kids happy.
The timber deck, located upstairs is north facing and overlooks the park, it is a great place enjoy a drink while reflecting on your day and watching the sunset.

Upstairs accommodates a new kitchen & bathroom, the kitchen is well equipped with a large family sized refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machine and plenty of kitchen accessories.
The sunny open plan dining and lounge area is just down the hall from the bedroom 1 and 2 which are both equipped with very comfortable queen beds.

The downstairs decck and laundry is accessed via external stairs, you will find a very spacious timber deck with an outdoor lounge and gas BBQ perfect for cooking up a storm.

The backyard opens onto the park where you can enjoy a friendly game of cricket.

The laundry is also located downstairs and accommodates the 2nd bathroom and washing machine.

Linen
The linen items that we include in your tariff are doona's, doona covers, pillows, blankets, hand towel and tea towels. You will need to provide your own sheets, pillow cases bath towels and beach towels.

A linen hire service is available on request - $25 per bed per stay
(hire includes sheets, pillows cases and bath towels)

***Stays of 5 nights or more & Public holidays***
When you book 5 nights or more or a public holiday weekend 3 nights, you will receive complementary Linen (sheets, pillow cases and towels).

Portable/travel cot and highchair, are available free of charge. Please request these items on booking
You will need to provide your own cot linen.

**Please note the entire internal floor downstairs is used as storage and is not included in the booking.**

Cute little house

The house is very nicely renovated clean and tidy. Its a 2 story house. The bunk room is downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs including the dining, kitchen and lounge. There is also a lounge downstairs.We had a very easy check in and check out. There is no air-conditioning however there are ceiling fans in each room. There isnt any WiFi or a smart TV either so come prepared. It's also BYO Linen or linen can be provided at a cost.The house backs on to a small piece of council land which other houses also back onto, it can feel quite exposed since the house is two story and the other backyards can see right into the house if the blinds are up. Just be conscious it doesn't feel super private. Walking distance to the bowling club. The ocean pool (pictured in listing) is about a 7 minute walk out the back gate. Owner was very responsive to texts.

Allure delivered beyond our expectations

Loved our stay at this property. The photos don’t really do it justice. The house was large enough for our two families of 4 and had everything we needed included modern bathrooms kitchen and laundry. The location is amazing! The house has two decked areas and a massive “park” behind it that is shared with the neighbours- perfect for cricket! Thank you Katie

Perfect group getaway

Stylish but very comfortable home perfect for a group or family stay. Loved the multiple social areas so lots of opportunity to get together, but plenty of space to get away😍😀. Well equipped kitchen. Need to note - no wi-fi Bu not an issue for our group. Loved our stay.

Nice cosy home

All in all it was very nice. The thing is that the ceiling installation on the first floor is not finished and there is a gap between the walls and the ceiling. Additionally there is a strong smell of moisture, so I took my children to sleep with us on the second floor. It wasn't a big deal as we are a small family of four. My son had asthma for a long time and we barely managed to beat it, so we were afraid to leave him inside at night. Maybe it’s too much parental concern, I’m not sure, but the fact is there’s a strong smell of moisture. With everything else I was very happy and we will probably look to come again when the opportunity arises. The house has a great position and is close to the beach. Neighbourhood was very pleasant and quiet. Unfortunately, we missed a proper cue stick like hell as the present one was damaged.

Nice stay at Currarong

Great stay. The back porch is quite nice, occasionally a few kids playing around, if you have kids that would like that. Short walk to beach, which is really what this property nails. Here's a few points: I'd say for younger kids, like sub 8 years old - this is unlikely for you as you'll have to leave them downstairs with no internal stair case (had to sleep downstairs while wife was upstairs the whole time to be safe) which was noted in the descriptions. All the rumpus room stuff (pool, xbox - no batteries for the controller unfort., fishing gear) were lost on my young kids also - so they didn't go down there much. Other than that - this is a nice converted beach shack. Finishes are mid range but electronics, TVs, DVDs, ceiling fans (no aircon) all a bit dated and clunky (vs price we paid) - but that's not while you're at the beach right! I'd also say that we paid waaaay overs for this and looking through prices for this place now - we were way above the high season stuff I can see - so hard not to filter my thoughts according to that price. Must have been COVID lock down prices. Katy is great - v responsive for an issue I had with the oven - quickly resolved.

Lovely home

This holiday home was very clean, comfortable (great beds), a close walk to beautiful beaches and equipped with all we needed. Great holiday home for us: 4 adults and 3 teens (who loved their downstairs space).

Wonderful family stay

Katie the host was wonderful great communication and service. House is furnished beautifully and in a wonderful location. Downstairs for sleeping can be noisy, as you hear everything from upstairs as the upstairs is floorboards. Still an amazing property definitely will stay again.

5 star accommodation in a beautiful location

We loved our stay! We had 4 of our 5 kids with us. Three teenagers and a 6 year old. The property was in pristine condition, very clean and everything had been thought of to make the stay comfortable. The kids had so much fun playing footy with neighbors in the little park out the back, playing pool and x-box, hiking and playing at the beach. The house is so comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied with what we needed to cook. So many great hikes and a beautiful beach all in walking distance. Katie was very quick in communicating with us as well. Would definitely recommend staying here. We’ll be back for sure.

Great location!

We had such a great week enjoying this house and the local surrounds. The beaches within walking distance are amazing with easy access to Jervis Bay for a change of scenery. The living spaces both upstairs and down stairs are great for families. The older kids loved having their own space downstairs!

Relaxing Stay

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!! The house was exceptionally clean, wine upon arrival was a bonus! The kids loved having theirs own space downstairs. Lots of games, movies, books to keep us all entertained especially cos it rained the whole time we were there. We all enjoyed our stay and the bed was sooooo comfortable I had the best sleep Ive had in years! Thanks again :)

Beautiful property and well located. We had a wonderful stay.

Our family celebrated my sons 16th birthday. Even though we had some rain we were still able to keep everyone busy. Fishing, kayaking, bush walking and even some swimming. Everything is centrally located and within walking distance. There was everything we needed at the property and more to keep everyone entertained. The large downstairs area was perfect for the teens as it gave them a seperate area.

Chill Time

Thanks Katie Kay for making our stay a chilled one. Finding the house is easy and on arrival we found wine, biscuits, cheese and grape platter waiting for us, it is these little touches that go a long way, so nice. The house itself is well presented and clean with nice comfy beds and pillows to sleep on. There is a balcony upstairs overlooking the back yard, great for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. It is an easy access through the back to Zacs Place and the bays and beaches. It is a very relaxing space to be and we would certainly book again when heading south. Great Holiday!

Allure Beach House was really clean, well equipped for cooking etc and was located in fantastic place. There were kangaroos and lorikeets visiting us on a daily basis. The bush walks on the nearby headland were well worth doing and there were plenty of beaches for swimming or just exploring. We had a truly relaxing holiday and would recommend the property to those either with or without children.
