Amazing Place!! Perfect!!

We loved the house and the overall environment of Ocean Lakes was out of this world! Tons of stuff for kids to do all thrown in and renting a golf cart for the week was perfect and fun! Thanks for the memories and the perfect home to stay in!

Overall we had a great stay. The gate on the porch was broken and we kinda needed that but we managed. Enjoyed the parade.

Perfect location

The week we stayed there was a tropical storm, however the location was still perfection. Close to the water park & the beach (but far enough away that the winds were not awful during the storm). The road was wide and parking was a breeze. We loved that there were two covered decks and both had very nice rocking chairs. Would highly recommend this property!

Great girls trip

Property was great for our girls trip! The house was spacious and just what we were looking for.It was very convenient to all the amenities. It was clean and cute, however, the floors and stairs were dirty. Our feet would get grimy walking around inside. I know beach properties’ floors can be hard to keep clean. But, overall, it was just great for our 3 day weekend needs!

My family had a wonderful vacation at Ocean Lakes in this home. It was in a great location, it was exactly as pictured and described in the listing and included everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely rent again.

Easy access to amenties

This rental suited all of our needs. Plenty of space for two families. Great space under the house as we were able to store our golf cart trailer along with two vehicles. Close to water park and beach. Only drawbacks we had were the very stiff beds in the master and downstairs bedroom. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable!

House not clean , needs deep clean

House was nice. But the house was not clean. Mattress pad had yellow stains that looked like urine, it had to be replaced , pillows need to be replaced , house was dusty , hairbows on bed room floor , floors dirty , hair in All the showers from previous visitors , the 2 queen beds needs new mattresses , one mattress sunk in , outside porch had cups and comb outside , I would advise to please come look at the property after your cleaning company comes, because they are not cleaning or dusting, mopping , they are not cleaning the showers or bathrooms at all , there were no kitchen cleaning products in the home

Great Location

This really was a nice home and a very good location to stay. Close to everything and a lot of entertainment and stores at the campground. Only negative for me was not being able to get visitors besides the ones that were staying with us, but I truly understand and respect the fact that this place is big on safety of their property renters

Most uncomfortable

Well I have stayed a lot of places in my live and this has to be the most uncomfortable place I have ever stayed. Beds were absolutely awful. Stairs were steep. Bathrooms were SMALL. Floor hadn’t seen a mop and who knows when. I have an 11 month old crawler and she was filthy in no time. Kitchen is not stocked with what you need. Melissa the property manager is nice. Location in ocean lakes is great.

Good but needs a little sprucing up

Overall we had a great time on our vacation with family. The house is in a great location with just a short walk to the pool, beach and campground store. We loved the swings under the house. It was nice to sit down there in the evening and watch the kids play. Only a few concerns, none of which prevented us from enjoying our trip, but still should be addressed. The queen bed upstairs needs a new mattress. It is VERY noisy and not very comfortable. The door handle to enter the house is upside down? Strange? Also I feel like it definitely could use a deep clean. Dust, clean out inside of trash cans and wash pillows and remove hair and stuff off of them.

Needs to be refurbished

This house was once a good house but no longer. The website pictures looked great but the house didn't deliver. Leather sofa is worn out love seat is soiled. Two of the four barstools were broken. The plumber who came to fix a clogged drained actually repaired one of them. Biggest problem was the house was dirty. It really looked like only the bathrooms and refrigerator was cleaned before our arrival. The floors were filthy and the bed pillow covers disgusting and there was a dish and food in the microwave. . I realize cleaning staff only has a limited time to clean between guests but management needs to come check the condition of the house every now and then. Someone needs to check that there are light bulbs in the light fixtures, (two were out in the MB alone), make sure there are kitchen towels as stated in the in the agreement (there were none just a whole bunch of pot holders), check condition of pans (they were pretty much unusable). I'm not complaining about the clogged sink or AC going out, these issues are beyond management's control. Both were fixed in a timely manner, however had one of my guests had any sort of issue I would have reached out to them so that they knew I was concerned that they had a good time at my home. We never heard from this management company especially about the food in the microwave. To sum up this was one of the most expensive houses I've stayed in at ocean lakes over the last 20 years and the condition of the house was one of the worst. A couple of good points the house had,: plenty of dishes and silverware, (stayed in a house with no forks once), and the porch furniture was very nice. I have a vacation rental in North Carolina. I've learned if you want people to take care of your home you need to provide them with the tools to do so, like dishwasher detergent and trash bags. This house either needs to lower their price to reflect the quality of the home or make significant upgrades.
