THE HOME

You will have access to the whole house.

Downstairs features living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom with 2 single beds. Additionally, the living room has a sofa-bed.

Upstairs is the Master bedroom with a queen size bed and small balcony.

The Master bedroom has an adjoining sleeping alcove with a single bed -- particularly suitable for a child who may want to sleep near parents, though the bed is also suitable for another adult.

Enjoy air-conditioned comfort both upstairs and downstairs - something not available in all homes. Stay cool in Sydney's hot and humid weather or keep warm in winter.

Lovely space in a location that is close to everything.

I stayed at this property with my partner and my parents. The space was more than adequate for all four adults. The property has to be one of the most well stocked places I have ever stayed. It has absolutely everything you would need. The only slight hitch was being across from a boisterous school however this was really only an issue when the children came outside after school had finished (3:00pm). If you are out and about during the day it wouldn't impact you at all.

An excellent stay & easy stay. Comfortable beds / pillows. Full kitted kitchen, nice to have sharp knives. Great location. Nice touch for sensor lights going up the stairs. Good instructions - really appreciated the one for the washing machine one. Good communication and lovely to deal with, managed our requirements for parking a large car on the street with visitor parking.

Lovely Newtown house

We had a great stay here - the house is in a fantastic location between Newtown and Erskineville- handy for trains to Circular Quay and the beaches, but on a lovely quiet street. The house itself was very clean and well equipped, with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Communication with Roslyn was excellent- she always replied really quickly to any questions I had. I’d really recommend this house if you’re staying in Sydney- we’d definitely come again - thanks Roslyn!

Light, bright, and extremely well located

We spent two happy weeks here in December and the more we got to know Sydney, the more we appreciated how well located this place is. A couple blocks away is a direct bus line to Coogee Beach, running every ten minutes, and a couple blocks in the other direction are two train stations for downtown and beyond. The house connects to the main shopping street in lively Newtown via several different charming pathways, with too many delightful restaurants on King St. for any one visit. But whether I was returning from a quick trip to the organic, sustainably sourced grocery nearby or from a big tourist outing, it always felt so good to return to the cheery red door of our house and the welcome shade from the park across the street. Delightful.

Sydney Stay

Location was a lovely quiet one way road a short distance from King Street but being opposite a small park and school did cause enough noise to prevent any chance of sleeping in! Great position for catching a bus or train and Woolworths is just 5-10 minutes walk away. The house provided everything you needed although we could not find any blankets for the beds. We found some extra doonas as we were packing up to leave on our final day in the drawers under the beds! Being an old terrace home it took a while to warm the place up but the reverse cycle AC did the job. Communication from the host was excellent and gaining access into the house was easy.

Great location

Location is excellent. Supermarket, bakery, pubs, restaurants and many specialty shops all just a short walk. Similarly the railway station and bus stops are very close. For its location, the property is very quiet. Being opposite a small park, the street offers a feeling of space. Behind the park is a school which adds to the general activity of the area but is by no means a problem. Having a medium-size car, we appreciated the parking permits. Parking is easy enough to find, though it is easier during the morning/midday day than afternoon/evening. The house has been renovated to a very good design. For its size, it is spacious and has everything we needed, including some backyard space. It was all very well presented and overall, very hard to fault.

A perfect place for a stay in Newtown. The place is in a quiet street but close to all the action in King St, with a lovely park opposite for the kids to play in. We live nearby and know this area well. We offer our Newtown terrace where we previously lived before we had a family. We know the inner-west well, and it is a fantastic place to stay if you want to be in the centre of Sydney's inner-city culture.

We appreciate effort put into design and interior comfort; when we travel we look for these things, and likewise we try to offer this high standard in our Newtown terrace.

Why they chose this property

Sydney is not just beaches, harbour and shopping malls. This city has very vibrant and equally (if not more) interesting inner-city neighbourhoods where you'll find an arts and bar scene.
If you stay in Newtown, you will enjoy a different type of authentic Sydney life, possibly more "tasty" than other locations.

This is a full Victorian terrace that has been renovated in a contemporary style. It is peaceful with a beautiful leafy outlook from both front and back, while still being a few minutes walk to restaurants and amenities.
