Ask a questionAbout Lucho Larrea
Hello! We are Lucho & Chloe. We both live in the house. Lucho is from Ayacucho, Peru and Chloe is from Massachusetts, USA. We met in Ollantaytambo, while Lucho was beginning to build our future home and Chloe was volunteering in town. Lucho is passionate about his culture and traditional food and is always willing to share that with you. We have hosted guests for two years in our home from over 50 different countries. We both speak Spanish and English. We love sharing our space with travelers and can't wait to meet you :)
Why Lucho Larrea chose Ollantaytambo
Lucho found and fell in love with the plot of land in August 2016. It was then that he decided to build a simple home with three rooms. The house was finished in November 2017 and we received our first guests in December. We have both been living in the house since then and enjoying our simplistic life in the countryside of Ollantaytambo.
What makes this House unique
We live in a tranquil area where some of the only sounds are birds chirping, roosters crowing, the train to Machu Picchu and the water flowing in the nearby water canal and waterfall. It is a simplistic environment with many restorative benefits for the soul.
