Our family of five enjoyed this place, and it was perfect for our needs. Hosts are wonderful. Loved the close access to the bike trail, a park and grocery stores nearby, the yard for the kids to play in, and the downstairs family room. We'd love to stay here again.

Great home, quiet neighborhood

Great home, very quiet neighborhood and close to Mayo, St. Mary’s, grocery stores and restaurants. Nice to have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a kitchen. The owner made sure we were well taken care of and had all we needed for our stay. Having a washer and dryer was so very helpful as well.

Truly a home away from home

Great place and very clean. The house was stocked with everything you need and typically have to buy when staying at a vacay home, trash bags, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, ect. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The setup of the house is excellent with 2 separate communal areas, one downstairs and one upstairs. The hosts were very communicative and quickly responded to questions. The neighborhood was nice and quite, and location was convenient to all the necessities. This will definitely be our pick when we come back!

The house was great location for our needs and was clean and the right size for our family. The negatives were: wall outlets in kitchen didn’t always work, countertops were sticky and peeling, stove temperature wasn’t accurate, and child booster caused damage to dining chair. Didn’t expect booster chair to cause damage.

Wedding Vacation

We loved our VRBO property in Rochester, MN. The owners went out of their way to welcome us with chocolates, coffee, popcorn and other essentials like dish soap, shampoo, lotion, garbage bags and so much more! The owners absolutely went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Cousins from Nevada, a Sister and partner from Wisconsin and the two of us from Vermont had such a glorious family gathering. The home was so spacious, neat and tidy. Could not have asked for anything more- thank you!

Comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood

Our family stayed here as my husband recovered from surgery at Mayo. The owners were very pleasant to deal with and exceptionally accommodating. The home was clean, all beds were comfortable, plenty of towels provided, several streaming options, good neighborhood for a walk with a nearby playground, and quality furniture. They provided adequate laundry, trash bags and dishwashing items. So many places I've stayed you need to pack extras because minimal is provided. Tim and Lonnie ensured we were set for our whole stay. We will definitely return.

Cozy Rochester Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was cozy and allowed for us to spend Thanksgiving together as a family. With the two spaces upstairs and also in the basement, there was a lot of space to spend time together, relax, play games, build puzzles, read books, basically all our favorite family activities. :) The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners were very kind and receptive to our needs; they graciously offered an extended check out time and also coordiated a drop off of some items we accidentally left behind. Would 100% stay here again!

Perfect rental for our 3 week stay

This is a very well maintained, stand-alone home with easy driving access to Rochester services including the Mayo Clinic. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived and the owners are meticulous in their multi-day cleaning before each rental. There are no tree branches or electrical wires over the driveway so a tall vehicle is not a problem here. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a large dining room table and lots of seating. The outside deck is a pleasant place to step out and enjoy the good sized yard with mature trees. One thing that was not in the Vrbo description but was important to us is that there is a nice recliner in front of the TV. Also in front of the TV there is a couch with electrical controls that can recline either end. These are great for recovering from a busy day and for us this was another big plus in choosing this property. The owners are quick to respond to questions and want to make certain that their renter's stays are enjoyable. We have stayed in several different places in Rochester when we have come in the past, and this home is now our first choice for our return visits. This truly was a blessing for us to be able to stay here and we highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was located in a great neighborhood with many stores and restaurants nearby. It was an easy 10 minute commute to Mayo Clinic. The house was extremely clean and the owner made sure we had everything we needed and could contact him with any questions. We would definitely stay in this house again if we are in the area.

Perfect place to stay during my sons recovery from surgery. Everything was clean, comfortable and cozy. The lower level living room has a reclining couch, which is where my son spent most of his time. After my sons surgery, it was difficult for him to lay flat in a bed. So, the reclining couch was a god-send and this is where he slept and relaxed! The full bathroom on the lower level was also convenient for him. The house is a bi-level. So there are stairs between upper and lower level. Upper (or main level) has 2 bedrooms, one full bath, kitchen and living room. Lower level has one bedroom, one full bath and a living area with a nice large flat screen TV. There is no tv on the upper/main level. Kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked a lot. Only thing we missed was a cookie sheet. But no biggie. Loved that there was a choice between a kurig coffee pot or regular brew coffee pot. GREAT location! The neighborhood was safe and we felt very comfortable! Target superstore and Kwik trip was just a few blocks away. Costco and HyVee grocery is just a few miles down the road. Easy access to highway 52 as well... which zips you right to Mayo Clinic in 5 minutes! Super handy!! We’ve stayed at plenty of vrbo properties in Rochester this past year. I have to say this was the best for location, furniture choice, cleanliness and communication with the host! Tim was awesome in keeping us informed, checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed. He even asked us what temperature we wanted the thermostat set at before our arrival! How thoughtful is that?!?! Thank you, Tim! You made a difficult time for us less stressful! We would definitely not hesitate to stay with you again! Thank you, thank you!!! Lynn, from Wisconsin

We loved this home, it will definitely become a part of trips to Rochester in the future if it’s available. The house was spotless, comfortable and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time here. Location was great! Close to downtown, close to shopping and near parks and walking paths. Tim and Lonnie went above and beyond and left us a list of activities to do on our downtime with our children. We appreciated the chocolate and coffee on arrival. Thanks again for a great experience.
