Another great stay

This is our second time renting this unit. The location is very central. Owner prompt in responding to questions. I like that the property is gated...feels very safe. We would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful Stay

The condo was easy to find, clean and in a safe neighborhood. I like that it was also a secure gated community. The pool was refreshing. Our sleep was comfortable. Within walking distance to a health club and food shopping. Coffee shop and other eateries close by. Thank you for a peaceful stay.

Extremely noisy AC and water heater

Sparse and cheaply done. Old blankets, pillows and furniture. The ac and water heater are extremely noisy and makes it hard to sleep.

Short stay ;nice 2 bedroom accommodations

Property is on 2nd floor which I didn’t consider (husband’s knee surgery) but it worked. The Roku was spotty at times and looped . Also the neighbor apparently smoked and the smell would drift up at times. All in all, it was a nice property to stay for our short stay.

Great little condo in Tucson

We really enjoyed our 7-day stay in the this great little condo in Tucson. The place was clean, decorated tastefully, and the kitchen had the basics we needed. The owner even provided some food items for our breakfast for the first morning. How thoughtful! The place is in a great location, close to lots of excellent restaurants. All hiking areas around Tucson like Sabino Canyon and Saguaro National Park East and West are easily accessible by a short drive. The place is gated and safe and very quiet at night. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool in the complex. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place to stay at a very good price too.

Spacious unit close to the loop and shopping

The property was ok. There was a brief issue with no water - the host was onsite within 30 minutes. We didn’t like the area. Homeless persons at all corners of the intersections. Security in the shopping plaza across the street - didn’t feel safe to walk in the area. This is no fault of the host. Good for visiting to University but in our opinion not a great vacation spot. The pool was advertised as heated but clearly was not - was too cold to use.

Unfortunate Incident

I’m sorry to have to give this place a poor rating. The condo was fine and the renters were nice, but while I was there my bike was stolen. The reason I go to Tucson in the winter is to ride my bike on the Loop. Before I rented I specifically asked Jean Paul if there was a safe space to lock up my bike, and he assured me there was. I am a 76 yr old woman, and I cannot carry a bike up the stairs. I carefully locked the bike to a railing with a U-lock and a heavy cable in the space that he suggested. In the morning the cable had been cut and the wheels, forks and handlebars were gone. The condo is in a fairly sketchy area, and although they advertise it as a gated community, the gate was often left wide open. I would not have rented the place if I had known about these issues, and therefore I must give them a poor rating.

A lovely oasis in the desert

Cooper Star is a lovely and spacious condo, located just 10 minutes from downtown. It's a super convenient location close to stores and great restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout. We will definitely rebook when we return to beautiful Tucson!

The unit was spotless and the kitchen was loaded with spices for cooking. I would stay here again!

The bed was very comfortable and located near restaurants and my favorite Star Bucks. Lots of free movies, pool and hot tub!

Convenient location

Overall we had a great stay at Samos property. The location was ideal and fits our needs. We were there to attend UA commencement and we were just a couple blocks from the stadium. Only 10 minutes from where our lived. North Italian restaurant (family favorite) was less than 15mins tea from us. And even did some hikes at “A” mountain and Tumamoc trailhead which was also less than 15mins away. And Jean was a great landlord who was so accommodating to us. Allowed us to check in an hour early and gave us a late check out. The only things I would suggest is to have USB ports in the rooms for charging our devices since not all comes with a two port plug. And maybe to make sure the master bedroom AC vent was working. There was a portable fan in the room but with over 100 degree temperature that fan did not help.

Great property

We stayed at this property while visiting Tucson for the Western Regional Sporting Clays tournament. The property was just what we needed, and was an easy proximity to everything we needed. Appreciated the gated parking lot for vehicle security.

It was ok

The condo was nice and adequate for our needs. It’s very convenient to food and shopping. The community it’s located in is nice. It was quiet and I felt a safe area. There was plenty of information provided about the area and the condo once checked in. The only negative was our check in. The condo wasn’t ready when we got there. When I called the owner tried to make it out to be my fault. I wasn’t thrilled with his response and would have appreciated an apology. I understand we’re all human and make mistakes. In the end it all worked out and it is a nice place. It’s a good rental but I’d encourage you to contact them directly before your check in date.

Good property for the price

This is one of the smaller properties we have stayed at in Tucson. It was very safe location and right next to Starbucks. If there’s anything that we had an issue with or needed they responded immediately. There’s not a washer and dryer in the unit but it is about 30 feet away. The beds were comfortable.
