Thanksgiving at the Lake

We had our family Thanksgiving here at Hiller Haus and it was wonderful! Very cozy house with comfortable beds. The views of the Lake are beautiful even if it was cold we still enjoyed the Lake. The house is equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely book this house again for a family getaway! Thank you!

July 4th

We stayed for July 4th this year and were not disappointed. The location is perfect! We rented a boat but honestly, did not need it. The cove is perfect, large, deep and locals all cove out there. The water was super smooth. The neighbors were all great and multiple homes shot off a lot of fireworks, which was nice. Everything was clean, the only complaint was the mattresses could use an upgrade. Otherwise, great place, would stay again!

Such a great getaway!

We spent a long family weekend at this property. It was perfect! We brought our own food, but the kitchen is stocked with pantry staples, and all cooking needs (plates, pots, pans, etc.). We rented a boat, but there really was no need as the property has kayaks, a canoe and a swim dock. We had so much fun kayaking, swimming and fishing! The deck was perfect for hanging out and evening board games. The family wants to book for next year! Thank you to the owners for sharing this home with us, which allowed to create new memories.

Family friendly

It was perfect for our four generation vacation. We loved the gated deck and ate many meals out there. We had lots of fun on the dock, using the canoe and kayak and swimming.

Great location on Lake of the Ozarks

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Hiller House. Coffee in the mornings on the deck overlooking the lake, swimming and boating during the days, and wrapping up the evenings by the fire pit. Thank you for sharing this place with others!

Wonderful lake getaway

We really enjoyed our family getaway at Hiller Haus. Great views off of the deck. The house and dock were well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay revolving around swimming and water fun. Would definitely feel comfortable booking again.

Family Vacation

Our stay was wonderful, we had plenty of space, home was clean. Beautiful view and we had a great time. The only thing was that there was no place close to rent a boat or sea-doo that was kind of the only downside.

Comfy cozy home with beautiful views. Plenty of room for 9 adults and two kids. Plenty of water fun with swimming,fishing and boating. A bit of a drive to town but groceries and gas close by. Wonderful, helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Love this house!

This is our second year here. The house is clean and well stocked. Easily child proof. The dock and views are beautiful. Owner very responsive with a welcome letter and letting us know that we were able to check in early as the house was ready early. The kids and adults loved swimming and fishing off the dock. Just a great place.

Our family vacation was amazing at this home. Beautiful views and very clean home. My family and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it the house was very clean and everything was easy to find. The sisters running this property were absolutely amazing and efficient at answering all questions. We plan to stay here in the future!

Such a comfortable house!

This was a family getaway for us, we made wonderful memories in this comfortable house. We loved the comfortable beds, the well stocked kitchen with newer appliances and the three updated bathrooms. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the AC worked great! The house was true to the photos, and even better in person as the owners filled it with many considerate features for the enjoyment and comfort of their guests. Would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay on the lake in the cove

Great house, great place to stay on the lake in the cove. Great fishing, great amenities and was a quiet lil family vacation. Neighbors were friendly and the stay was amazing. Close to everything, plenty of wildlife to enjoy and photograph. Overall, hands down would definitely stay here again. Easy to find, communication with everyone was fast and simple, no issues at all. This house provided enough room for everyone. Thank you.

Amazing family get away

This house is perfect for our little family, we had plenty of room, house has some beautiful views. We enjoyed our time there. This vacation rental offered options to canoe, paddle board, paddle boat and swim, we enjoyed fishing, has some great lil fishing areas off the dock, caught crappy, bluegill, catfish and seen turtles, etc. We seen deer, a cardinal, and wonderful scenery. It was quiet, peaceful and a nice get away. Thank you.

Great family vacation

This house was the cleanest, guest ready home. Plenty of room and comfortable. The deck was perfect for conversation and with gates in front of the stairs to keep toddlers roped in. Pretty quite cove for kayaking or lounging in the lake. Fishing was decent considering the weather didnā€™t cooperate with us. This will be the house for us. Looking forward to next year. Highly recommend.

2nd stay was just as amazing as the first. Will always always go back here with big groups. Accuracy of listing correct. Pictures need to be updated. They added the 3rd bathroom and updated a second. AWESOME! changed ladder getting into the lake. House is very clean itā€™s just porch and dock and they are are to keep clean. We cannot say enough good about this place. I just want to be honest. Homeowners always replay. I would very highly recommend this house.

The house was extremely dirty and smelled like mold. We got there and had to wash all sheets and comforters that were stained with urine. Unknown shoes, makeup, perfume, and opened water bottles laying around. Stove and grill was filthy dirty. The house was not in condition to be rented out.

GREAT for families!

SO MANY wonderful things to say about this property! Accommodations were perfect for our family, location was probably one of the BEST areas I've ever stayed in. Absolutely loved the cove we were in, great for swimming off dock or going in a little further and anchoring boat for the afternoon. Endless amenities available both inside and out. We made GREAT use of the Kayak's, Stand Up Paddle, Paddle Boat, Canoe...and dock was perfect for fishing off of. Made use of firepit with smores night, and the views from balcony are so calming & peaceful. Because we knew we would be spending most of our time at the house, we brought more than enough food, had I known ALL the kitchen supplies, utensils and condiments we needed (and then some) would be accessible, I would not have brought so much from my own home. Super cozy and cutely decorated, everyone will be fighting for the master bedroom/bath...GREAT sunrise/sunset view! My grandkids (10, 6, 4) are already planning their next visit because they had the time of their life!!!

Great Property!

Stayed here the weekend after memorial day. The house was very clean, well equip, easy to find, and the neighbors were very nice. There is plenty of parking and the hills down to the house are not severe like some of the other properties I have stayed at. The deck and dock are great for hanging out on and the canoe, kayak, and paddle boat were a lot of fun! We chartered a 45' boat for a day and it had plenty of room to pull up to the dock for us to load and unload. We saw bald eagles several times that flew right over the dock, caught fish, and hung out in the neighbors tree's. The house is pretty far from the dam, but reasonably close to enough amenities that it was not an issue. The only problems we had were the screen door coming off the track, the grill would not get over approximately 220 degrees, and we could not find the checkout instructions that were supposed to be posted in the kitchen area (so we just did the best we could). Overall this property was fantastic and we would love to come back again sometime in the future!
