Adorable casa directamente en el lago con acceso al muelle. 2 camas matrimoniales y televisores en cada habitación. Gran envoltura alrededor del sofá. La casa es pequeña pero las comodidades son infinitas. Proyectado en el porche con columpios y mecedoras. Cubierta exterior con bistro de iluminación y comedor y parrilla. Chimenea separada y área de hamacas. El final del muelle flotante es perfecto para nadar y pescar. Se incluyen kayaks y chalecos salvavidas.

Perfect little getaway

This little lake house was the answer for our long weekend to visit with our son at Fort Benning. The host was great, the property is gorgeous, and it has everything you need.

What an amazing stay we had! Kim the owner was so accommodating. The coffee pot was not working so she personally delivered a new coffee pot for us. The house was so nice and having the dock to hang out on was so peaceful and relaxing. We were able to make wonderful memories with our son who was on break from Army boot camp. Thank you Kim! We will definitely be back!

Great place

Well appointed and clean property, minutes from publix but felt like it was far from the city. There are neighbors but being on a peninsula there was plenty of privacy. Outside deck and patio were very nice and a top notch charcoal grill/smoker were there.

Perfect & Peaceful

We loved this adorable lake house. It was perfect for my husband & I. The outdoor area is beautiful. The weather ended up being a little too cold to enjoy the lake so we are already thinking about planning our next trip when it's warmer.

Turning blue graduation

What an amazing vacation home! This place is quite the charm and having a lake and kayaks and all the water amenities was perfect. Got to watch my boy cast a little…. Thank you for such a wonderful stay for my family during this most special time. I’ll definitely recommend this to other family’s for army graduations.

Relaxing Lake house

We wanted to take time say Thank you very much. We had a great time being able to spend time with our son, and we were able to spend quality family time and celebrate his graduation from Army boot camp. The lake was perfect for us to unwind, and it was relaxing.

The Perfect Place to Unwind!

Just as described! It was outside the city but not too far. It was peaceful and restful from sitting in the screened in porch drinking coffee to fishing on the dock to playing games at the deck table. And the grill was an added bonus! The host was also exceptional!

Peaceful and Relaxing

Great cottage on the lake w/beautiful view, screened in porch, rocking chairs, porch swing, all the needed amenities. Perfect for anyone that doesn’t want to stay in Columbus but quick trip to Fort Moore. We were able to see our son’s Airborne Graduation & even made it to a jump then cook out & fish w/him each day.

Peace and quiet

We spent the majority of our time on the back porch and boat dock enjoying the weather and peace and quiet. Very clean and includes everything you need for your stay. Conveniently minutes away from dining/groceries. We were only 20 minutes from columbus which has fantastic restaurants and plenty to do. We will rebook in the near future as our son is at Ft Moore. Absolutely made our stay more enjoyable!

Perfect getaway

We so enjoyed our stay at this little lakeside home. Kim was a great communicator and made the whole process easy. The only disappointment was to find only one working kayak and we were under the impression there were two. It was great to be close to grocery shopping, restaurants and pharmacy but felt the peaceful privacy on the lake. Our son is stationed at Ft Moore so we will certainly be back !

Just as advertised!

This cabin was a lovely place to stay! Stunning location. Very conveniently close to downtown Columbus and loved the easy access to groceries and gas.

The best family spot.

Look no further if your looking for a family lake house. One that takes you back to old times, family get together, easy living. This is the spot. This place was so homey that we didn’t want to leave. As soon as we got there it felt like showing up and your grandparents cabin on the lake. Super low key and cozy. The kids had so much fun swimming in the river and kayaking. They tried their hands at fishing and catching tadpoles. We have already started making plans to come back.

Almost 5 stars…

The location of the property was amazing! Gorgeous view and location on a beautiful lake in the woods. The porch and rocking chairs were so nice, tho a bit a dusty. I think it was the nature of the area since our car was covered in red dust after one day. We enjoyed the charcoal grill a few times, which was really nice, but just as an FYI, you to provide your own charcoal and starters if no one else left some behind. The bed we used was the one further from the lake and was pretty comfy and had comfy pillows. TP and paper towels were provided as well as towels and linens, which were nice since we flew in from Illinois. The only reason I didn’t give this property 5 stars was because it wasn’t the easiest to find. The map feature that comes with an iPhone doesn’t recognize the address, so I downloaded the Google maps and it was pretty straight forward after that, but we wound up going down three different nearby legs of the road it was on cuz the address was not clearly posted (found it the last day faded on a wooden fish on pole at the top of the drive near the garbage can) and we thought the road to cabin was a private drive for another house plus there was no number on the house itself. Only way we finally knew it was the right house for sure was when we put the code in the key-box on the door. Would have been helpful to get more of a description of how to get there and what markers to look for. Shopping at pharmacies, grocery, and even a restaurant bar is literally 5 minutes away which was nice convenience. Overall, we really enjoyed this property.
