Gumtree Guest House es el lugar perfecto para escapar del ajetreo de la vida, respirar y recuperar la sensación de paz. Relájese y descanse con el sonido de las aves nativas, alimente a los Kookaburras y disfrute del susurro de las hojas a través de los gumtrees en la brisa.

Ubicada a 35 minutos del CBD de Brisbane en la región de la Bahía de Moreton, la casa de huéspedes es una vivienda separada de 100m2 situada junto a nuestra casa principal con el área de la piscina en el medio y se encuentra entre 7 acres de bosques vírgenes de Australia.
La casa de huéspedes en sí es de nueva construcción y cuenta con una cocina totalmente equipada, nevera grande, electrodomésticos Smeg, despensa, cómoda cama King en el dormitorio principal, WiFi, TV inteligente de 55 ", caja fuerte, aire acondicionado por conductos, barbacoa Weber y acceso a La piscina climatizada.
Pasee tranquilamente por la propiedad y sus alrededores, donde encontrará abundantes pájaros, mariposas y belleza natural. Compre sus alimentos y artículos esenciales en el centro comercial local Westfield North Lakes a solo 7 minutos en auto.
Si le gusta salir, hay mucho que ver y hacer en nuestra región, incluyendo excursiones de un día a las montañas y bodegas, el zoológico de Australia, la exploración del interior de Sunshine Coast, playas, lagos, mercados, cervecerías y mucho más, todo dentro de 20 a 60 minutos en coche de la casa de huéspedes. Extremely well prepared Property

This property is situated on a large block that includes natural bush land with considerable bird life. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again if the opportunity arises. Very well prepared property.

A Tranquil Haven

Michael and Anita have provided a superb guest house for their guests, hidden away from the surrounding area. Everything you could want for in this peaceful, well appointed, comfortable accommodation. Michael and Anita were most welcoming, without being intrusive, but keeping in touch regularly to make sure we were comfortable. We look forward to returning next year for another stay here and recommend 100% this beautiful property. Thank you Michael and Anita.

Property Magnificent. Quiet, clean, rural & wildlife, but close to all amenities. ie shops, eateries, entertainment. Our hosts were unbelievable. Perfect for our needs!

Thank you Michael and Anita for a great vacation. We stayed for close to 2 months while visiting our daughter in Brisbane. The location was perfect as it was only minutes away from the train station by car, or a longer walk for our teenager when he wanted to go exploring without us. The house itself was perfect and had the space and amenities we needed to be comfortable for the longer stay. The setting was also lovely with the bushlands behind the house, and many mornings were spent out there reading while listening to the birds. Overall, everything about our stay was pretty seamless and Michael and Anita were wonderful hosts. Would happily stay here again next time we visit Australia!

Paradise in the Woods

Our expectations have been exceeded, both Anita and Michael welcomed us with open arms and made us feel welcomed. Waking up with a peaceful and quiet view from the bed in the woods, watching the birds sitting i the trees was absolutely enjoyable. The lovely granny house privides you with everything you may need during the stay. Bathrooms and kitchen are well equipped and the opportunity to washing clothes is given as well. You may wehther stay in the house, walk around in the forest or use the excellent connection to M1 to get to Sunshine Coast, Glassmountains or soth towards the city. A train station is 5min away by car which also takes you to CBD. We do highly recommend this place running by the lovely couples Anita and Michael.

This was the stay that had it all and more for a stress free getaway.

Anita and Michael greeted us and made us feel so welcomed. It was just so easy from the get go, and once booked, Anita kept contact, making sure our stay was to be as planned. The stay accommodation is great, clean and comfortable. When you are there, the feeling of being in natures backyard is apparent with morning Kookaburra's, Lorikeet's and Rosella's through the day, and a couple of Magpie's drop in to say hi. Our holiday was great and our stay gave us a good jump-start to some of the best place's south-eastern Queensland has to offer. Thanks Anita and Michael, I recommend your stay and love to return.

Our magical stay

Anita and Micheal made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The property itself is beautifully set out, with nature on your doorstep. The highlight of our stay was the stunning wildlife, in particular the friendly kookaburra that would hop on your hand and take food, it was magical.

Perfect in every way

So clean, peaceful with fantastic view. The hosts are the best couple yoh will ever deal with, From the moment of check in it felt like we were with old friends.It seemed like we were at home, so comfortable. We would recommend this home to anyone.

Total relaxation

A beautiful property, perfectly designed to enjoy the serenity of the area. Anita and Mike are the perfect hosts who have thought of everything. Daily swims in the pool, waking up to the sounds of the birds and feeding the wildlife, this was the total relaxation needed after a crazy year. Will definitely be back.

Michael & Anita have been fantastic hosts throughout our stay being more than accommodating with our requirements and situation during this difficult time. Oh the serenity! A very private guest house amongst the gum trees, with kookaburras visting daily!

Absolutely loved our stay at Gumtree Guest House! We didn't want to go home. The guest house is located in a quiet bushland setting, overlooking quite a number of huge gum trees that were home to an abundance of birdlife. We enjoyed daily visits from a large family of kookaburras, a couple of tawny frogmouth owls and beautiful rainbow lorikeets. If you're lucky you may also get to see some kookaburras come down from the trees in the afternoon for a hand fed treat! There is also a collection of little native (stingless) bee houses spotted around the property which we enjoyed stopping by, to admire the 'hive' of activity coming and going from them. The property itself is very modern and furnished beautifully, with plenty of space for couples, or a small family of 4 like ours (with the kids sharing the 2nd bedroom). The master bedroom, living room and 2nd bedroom boast stunning views over the spotted gum tree lawn and bushland beyond. In between the main residence and guest house is a gorgeous pool that would be delightful in summer, but was just as lovely to gaze into in the winter with the stunning backdrop of gum trees and birdlife to listen to and watch. The property owners are lovely and happy to leave you be, but also very welcoming and friendly. The property is secluded, but also only minutes from the main highway. Would definitely highly recommend staying at Gumtree Guest House! You won't be disappointed.

Such a beautiful bush paradise.

My family and I had such a wonderful week staying here. The house is beautiful and modern, extremely clean perfect for the kids or a couples relaxing retreat. Our kids enjoyed bushwalking with all the birds and wildlife then cooling off in the pool. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning.

Outstanding property

This property exceeded our expectations and left us questioning why we didn't book a longer stay! Located in a bushland setting the property is quiet and secluded whilst still being only minutes to the motorway. The property is impeccably designed and furnished including a beautiful open plan living area. The master bedroom boasted a stunning outlook along with a walk in wardrobe which proved handy to store our suitcases during our stay. The highlight of the property is the alfresco / heated pool area which you could literally loose an afternoon just gazing into the bushland whilst listening to the bird life. A highly recommended property that will not disappoint.
