This beautiful home was perfect for our annual fall getaway. With nine of us, there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably, and enjoy the common areas together. The location couldn't be better - it was close to everything we needed, while still feeling like we were away from the hubbub.From the thoughtful gift of wine and cheese to the flexibility of a late checkout, every detail made our stay more enjoyable. Communication with our host was easy and responsive, which we greatly appreciated.We would absolutely stay here again if we're ever in the area. Highly recommend this house on Golden Hill.

Very nice property in peaceful setting, yet just a quick drive to town, lake beach, grocery, Tanglewood and other Berkshire attractions. Easy checkin and owner stayed in touch throughout stay. Well-equipped kitchen and nice sized dining room for meals. Enjoyed morning walks in trail across street and beautiful local views around neighborhood.

Great Ski Weekend!

We enjoyed a great family ski weekend with our elementary school aged children. Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, super clean. Quick trip into town for restaurants, accessible to nearby ski mountains. We would absolutely recommend this property and would stay again!

Loved our stay at Golden Hill

Booked Golden Hill for a weekend in the Berkshires for a wedding at Tanglewood. The house was so welcoming when we walked in with music playing, fresh flowers and snacks. The sunroom was our favorite spot to relax and enjoy the fall colors. All the bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The primary bathroom shower was a real bonus! Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

A Gem

Cannot say enough good things about this house and Teva, the owner, who was incredibly responsive leading up to and during my family's trip with a few questions that came up. The home itself is spacious and well appointed, with a nice big kitchen and a long hallway upstairs with several generously sized bedrooms. Location is great as well. Will be staying again!

Wonderful Stay

We were a group of 5 older women. We ALL loved the house. Very spacious, well appointed and supplied. Any support or information needed was close by and immediate. Great house for finding privacy as well as gathering as a group! We will definitely meet there again for another memorable reunion.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a group of 9 women who rented this home for a weekend of shopping, relaxing, dining and celebrating Christmas. We found this home to be very comfortable, well furnished, very well stocked, and tastefully decorated. We had a slight issue with the heat and our text was answered immediately and an individual was there to assist within a few minutes. While we were still there we received communication to make a return visit. Very happy with this Vrbo experience.

Berkshires get-away

We had a wonderful time at this lovely house, perfectly located for activities in southern Berkshire county. The house was beautiful, spacious, and well-laid out for a group of adults. We loved sitting in the airy sunroom, and preparing meals in the spacious kitchen. The beautiful set-back location was just minutes from Tanglewood and convenient to everything else. The host was gracious and attentive, and eager to please without being intrusive. We will definitely consider returning. Thank you for a great vacation.

Ladies college reunion, birthday celebration, and retirement celebration

We booked this house at the last minute for a milestone birthday celebration weekend with 5 college friends. Our original destination was affected by Hurricane Lee. This was a great find. The house was fantastic - large bedrooms, well-appointed bathrooms, and a nice large kitchen. The house's location was convenient for all activities. The grounds were beautiful. Teva, the host, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. He was quick to respond to issues that arose and provided excellent restaurant choices. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Outstanding for a girls weekend!

Stayed at the property with lifelong friends for a girls weekend and it was such a perfect house for that and for other group and family stays! - Property owners were proactively engaged the whole time, flexible and accommodating. - The property was clean, VERY spacious and in a superb location. - All of the rooms were very large, clean and well kept. Honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! - Kitchen is clean, well stocked and has lots of space. - The sitting areas including the front living room, sunroom and dining area are suitable and comfortable to fit a good size crowd. - We visited in winter but were able to see that the backyard is quite spacious. - There’s a nice office space in a quiet corner of the house for those who may have to do some work - which some of us did… - Plenty of bath and shower space All in all a great visit and highly recommend this property!

Family time for a wedding celebration

This was a fabulous property to gather and stay as an extended family for a wedding celebration. Everyone was in awe of how much space we had to spread out and how the common areas were large enough for us to all gather around and enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Gatehouse! The house is very large and comfortable and the outside is terrific. It is a prime location in the Berkshires. The host was very communicative. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly!

Great Tanglewood Weekend

The Gate House was perfect for our group of 7, who gather each year for a Tanglewood weekend. Location was quiet and afforded easy access to Lenox, Lee and Tanglewood. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were spacious, and there were private spaces for everyone. And when we arrived, there was wine, cheese, fruit, chips and cookies for us! Also a good area to walk, which our group likes to do. We are booking for another year.
