Cette maison spectaculaire sur le lac a 200 'de rive privée face à l'ouest sur le lac Clara. Superbe grande piÚce avec foyer au bois du plancher au plafond, plafond de 18 pi avec poutres apparentes et escalier en bois sur mesure. Suite parentale au rez-de-chaussée avec baignoire et douche. 2 chambres et une salle de bain avec douche au 2e étage et et 2 chambres avec salle de bain complÚte au rez-de-chaussée. 2 salles d'eau au rez-de-chaussée. Sauna à bois avec dressing et véranda grillagée.

All the different programmable thermostats were confusing. Some rooms were hot others cold. There was a firepit we didn't use, but there were no chairs to sit around it if we did. The sauna was great. Dock was very unstable especially in the wind and the swimming ladder is missing rungs. Highly recommend for a family getaway. Lutsen close for golf, sight-seeing and the kids favorite the Alpine Slide!

Top Tier Accommodation

I have stayed at this VRBO on a couple occasions. The accommodations are awesome! There’s a large well maintained kitchen, stocked with all appliances you could need. The beds are comfortable and the views of the lake from the living room are stunning. There’s nothing better to come home to after a long day of skiing. The host Bryn is very responsive. I hope to come back soon.

New years trip with friends

Went up for a new years stay with several other couples. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own room and space as needed, with great common areas for hanging out. The property and space were beautiful.

Family Christmas Vacation

We were very happy with our vacation home. It was beautiful, spacious, and well stocked with cooking utensils, pans, spices, and a few food items. We could have used more dish cloths and dish towels. It would have been helpful if the entrance to the house/garage would have been sanded. Walking back and forth to the cars/garbage was treacherous with all the ice on the ground. I would highly recommend this lovely vacation home on Claire Lake.

Great location to hiking, comfy beds

We had a great stay at this home and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, and glassware. After figuring out the oven (it was a little tricky and hard to see what was the upper and lower oven), it worked great. Unfortunately, the dishwasher and microwave were not useable during our stay and notified the owner right away--in which he was unaware. The sauna heats very well and was an awesome way to end our day after long hikes and exploration. This is a very private property and the neighbors do not like noise (we were initially blamed for shooting off fireworks that we did not do)--so any outdoor activity should be done with caution to this. The beds were very comfortable including the pull out couch in the master. Fitted sheet were provided but not a cover sheet--blankets were provided as well. Our only complaint we had was that we are very deep cleaners and the shower had black build up in the corners in the master bath, the washer was not usable because it was a sweedish-made/old washer that we could not figure out how to open, and the stove had build up stains on it. But of course, we were able to live with all of this because we were up in the area to hike/explore and didn't spend much time on the property itself except in the evenings. The basement door was not able to lock either, so we barricaded it when we left the property and notified the owner. Overall, we would consider this property again because of the space it offers.

Up north 💚

Lovely setting on a quiet lake. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 7 yrs. Three levels and lots of space. Good for bird watching. We paddled in kayaks and a canoe, swam and fished from the dock, played yard games, enjoyed saunas, and had a quiet, relaxing time on a beautiful lake in the north woods. And the cabin is fairly close to Lutsen, Grand Marais, and north shore hiking spots for day outings, which we always enjoy.

What a beautiful property!!! All we expected and more. Owner was responsive to a couple of small requests. Everything we needed was there and we had a great time. We have been to the North Shore annually for over 15 years and have stayed at several different properties. This one is by far the best.

North Shore Escape

This place is huge. It held our large crowd very comfortably. The view of the lake is stunning. Communication with the owner was great.

Summer family vacation!

The property was wonderful! Plenty of space for multiple families. The lake view was breathtaking. Many of our group enjoyed fishing and canoeing! We were able to enjoy the beauty of the area by taking taking in daily hikes. The beauty and vastness of Lake Superior was a sight to behold! Another great trip for our memory book!

Annual Lutsen ski trip

The house is absolutely beautiful and extremely spacious. We had 14 in our group and there was room for everyone (we did bring 2 air mattresses). You are really off the beaten path but that just makes for beautiful night skies and great chances at seeing some wildlife! The sauna is such a nice amenity after a long day on the slopes! Would 100% book the same house again. Bryn, the property owner/manager, was extremely responsive and helpful, thank you Bryn!

Great winter getaway!

We had a great winter getaway to Lutsen in this beautiful home! Tons of space to accommodate our large group and all the amenities of home. Beautiful views on a very peaceful lake. Our host was super responsive and helpful. With only a short drive to the mountain for skiing as well as day trips to Grand Marais for shopping and dining, the location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

Nice Home for Family

The property was large and accomodated our group of 9 very well. Two rooms had twin beds which worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. About 20 minutes from Lutsen. Would love to come back in the summer.
