Had a lovely stay in L’Escala! The villa is beautiful and comfortably appointed for our group of four adults and two kids. Walking distance to the beach, and restaurants. Most days we enjoyed time by the pool and trips to the beach or slightly longer walk to shops and more restaurants. Antoon was very responsive leading up to the trip and Mariana made arrival and check-in smooth!

We had a phenomenal stay at this home in San Marti (l’Escala). As a multigenerational family, this home had EVERYTHING - spacious home, nice grounds, delightful pool, access to beach, access to a pedestrian walkway allowing visits to the ruins, restaurants and towns! Perfecto! And, on top of that Maryanna was great at check in and Felipe was always available to provide helpful information. He was an invaluable resource!

Convenient and beautiful house

Beautiful house conveniently located very close to the beach and beautiful town of San Martit! House has all the amenities to make a family stay perfect ! Check in and check out process was very easy! I would definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful Property

The house is impeccably designed and was perfect for our stay. It’s a short walk to the nearby town and beach, and a short drive to L’Escala. The landscaping was a true highlight for me, we loved sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. Mariana and Philipe were very communicative and helped us find nearby places to eat and visit. We LOVED our stay!

Great villa

Gorgeous villa in a great location close to everything you may need. L’Escala is 10 min by car and the beach is super close. The villa is beautifully appointed with everything you need in terms of equipment (especially the kitchen which has literally every ustensil you may think of, and enough to cook for 10 people which is not always the case). The large tables outside and inside are perfect for sharing meals all together. Beautiful garden and pool area. Many thanks for everything!

Superb Villa away in a very special spot

Great, spacious villa for two families, or in our case, one family of 9 celebrating my wife's 60th. The house is lovely with plenty of space for everyone and lots of bathrooms, all to a high standard. For the cooks there is a great kitchen and big fridges and freezers (two of each). Outside there is a Weber BBQ and lots of outdoor eating space in a beautiful garden setting with plenty of shade. The pool is a real bonus at the end of a hot day on the nearby and lovely beaches (and they really are lovely and very close). There are lots of sandy coves along this part of a largely undiscovered part of the Costa Brava, and most complete with a very nice Chiringuitto (Beach Bar/Cafe).The main beach nearby is shallow shelving-perfect for families and water sports. This area is famous across Europe for KiteSurfing and Windsurfing with reliable winds every afternoon. The Villa is just off the main walking/cycling route that leads to the historic village of Sant Marti (10 minute evening stroll) with its lovely restaurants, old buildings and the nearby Empuries Roman Ruins. For cyclist this area has lots of great routes and for walkers, you are right on the Camino that goes all the way down along the coast to Barcelona, hugging the cliffs all the way. All well signposted and stunning. Finally for those with kids there is even a land train taking you all the way from Sant Marti to L'Escala.Truly something for everyone...

Highly recommend, great vacations

Nous avons passé une semaine de merveilleuses vacances (deux familles avec 5 enfants : 6, 8, 12, 14 et 19 ans). La maison est très grande avec de belles chambres et salles de bain. Avec un décor moderne, simple et beaucoup de goût. Cuisine très, très bien équipée. Avec très beau jardin et piscine. Nous aimerions revenir. Merci beaucoup !!!

Wonderful house and

The house is beautiful, very clean and comfortable for a family with children. Its designed with much taste and attention to detail. Having AC throughout the house is a huge plus given the summer heat. It’s conveniently located on a quite street away from the crowds but within a short walk to the beach which is super nice and shallow which is also great for the kids . Property managers were very kind and responded to all our questions right away. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back there again!

Great house in great area!

We had a wonderful stay. The communication prior to arrival was great and someone was there to show us around when we got there. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and grilling and their are multiple grocery stores less than 10 min away. It is a 5 min walk to the beach, less than 10 min walk to beach bar/restaurant and maybe 15-20 min walk into the old city with multiple restaurants. Highly recommend!

L'emplacememnt idéal !

A dix minutes à pied des plus belles plages de la baie de Roses, cette maison est parfaitement située. C'est la son principal avantage ! L'endroit est calme et les maisons voisines suffisement éloignés pour ne pas déranger ou être dérangé. Jolie piscine de taille moyenne et bien entretenue: Les enfants ont adoré ! La maison est confortable, climatisée et les espaces sont agréables. Seul bémol, certains équiepements de la maison commencent à souffrir des locations successives et montrent quelques signes de faiblesse: hereusement les propriétaires se montrent compréhensifs en cas de casse ! Merci à eux :-)

Jolie villa pour un séjour agréable

La villa est confortable de style contemporain. Elle est accessible aux personnes en fauteuil roulant ce qui fut très appréciable lors de notre séjour. Un très bon accueil à notre arrivée par des représentants du propriétaire qui étaient disponibles et soucieux de notre confort. Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir d'utiliser la piscine en ce début de saison car celle-ci sortait de sa période d'hivernage. La maison est bien située. Les environs proches et plus lointains sont à recommander. Pour résumer, un séjour agréable.que nous referions volontier.

Nice villa close to a fantastic beach

We (two families with kids from Germany) had a wonderful time in Villa Franto. The villa is really nice and practical - of course, kids loved the pool. Weather was great, almost too hot towards the end... The villa is in cosy Sant Martin d'Empuries, just 2 minutes walking distance from fantastic beaches (bay of Rosas) and 10 min walking distance from the ruins of Empuries (the Greek and Romans already liked this location). Great thank you to Antoon, Monique & Gerard !
