Quaint house by the river and way off the beaten path

  • 4 of 5

Our stay was wonderful! My grandparents and great aunt ended up staying with my father, sister, and me for a night but we were all still very comfortable. It was small enough we weren’t searching for each other, but large enough we weren’t rubbing elbows. I appreciated the pullout bed upstairs! My sister and I also like having the PS3 with the nice assortment of games! There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen was also nicely furnished and loved the dish washer (I hate washing dishes!). My grandpa and dad caught 8 fish between them while my grandmother watched from the nice deck. WiFi was great! I have only 2 complaints. The satellite wasn’t working at the time, for when we wanted to wind down and watch tv at night. It was also confusing to get to. Our GPS got us there easily first, but it took us down a little side road that looked like t was just made and was very hard to get through. Luckily I drive an SUV and not a small car, but we knew to avoid that road next time. However, those 2 small things are the only complaints. The pros overshadow the cons.

A quiet place with beautiful views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and wished we had reserved for longer. The owners provide some additional things - 2 kayaks, a corn hole game, other outdoor games. You can fish right off the dock. Inside, the cabin is cozy, clean, and has everything you need. We loved our stay.

Lovely cabin on a beautiful river front property

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is clean, comfortable and homey. The owners have supplied everything needed for a relaxing mountain get away. The only downside is the horrid gravel road that goes on for about a mile. Make sure your vehicle is not low to the ground. Otherwise it’s perfect!

Charming, clean, and peaceful hidden getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is tucked away down a small gravel road but once there you are greeted by a lovely home with plenty of yard and access to the river. The cabin is clean and nicely decorated. Great kitchen with plenty of space. Owners accessible and helpful. We would love to return soon!

Great cabin with all you need! Dot 7/9/18-7/13/18

  • 5 of 5

This place was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is gorgeous inside and has anything you need for your stay. I knew I had hit a home run when my son and grandson immediately liked it. We stayed almost a week and packed as much activity in as we could. There were kayaks on the property. And there is so much to do close by - zoo, horseback riding, hiking, zip lining, white water rapids - to name some of the things we did!! The gravel road into the cabin is rough, but not an issue. We'd recommend this place to anyone!

Fabulous retreat in the Georgia mountains

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was beautiful, the views, the decks, everything was wonderful!!! The only issue is the last mile of the road getting to the house. No problem for an SUV or the like, but a low slung car would have trouble. Once you get there, it is so peaceful, it was our little piece of heaven! We would definitely return.
