Beautiful Oceanfront Beachfront condo with Fantastic Sunsets!!!

Welcome to our new beachfront condo, with all of the amenities you could ask for in a beach resort. Grand Panama is a beautiful property, in the most gorgeous setting of the white sandy beaches and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Our complex offers two pools, with one being beachfront. There are also hot tubs adjacent to each pool.
Grand Panama features a gym, parking deck, outside grills and a poolside tiki hut that offers great lunch and snack items, plus they offer adult beverages for the big kids. Our condo is beachfront, offering unobstructed views of the beautiful ocean. It’s truly a great place to relax and if you enjoy a gorgeous sunset, there is no better vantage point than our spacious balcony in the evening. We can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. Each bedroom features a king size bed. There are also bunk beds in the hallway and a comfortable sleeper sofa. The master bedroom opens up to the beachfront balcony, as does the den. Our kitchen is fully equipped and we offer a washer/dryer as well. We recently purchased this condo and we have worked diligently to make it comfortable with new furnishings. We are beach lovers and we feel so blessed to have this condo and share it with others.

Everything was as described. Right on the beach and close to several restaurants and shops . We slept 7 very comfortably. Our only down fall was the pool was closed our last two days there . We would definitely stay again

Condo was amazing and as described. Communication with the property manager was prompt and professional. Property location is near anything you would want from dining to entertainment, and shopping. Had a wonderful time and look forward to booking here again.

We had a blast!

This condo was absolutely amazing! We had five kids and two adults with us and had PLENTY of space. The owner was beyond amazing with communication. The pool is beautiful and so much fun. The beach chairs were a huge hit for us! We will definitely be reaching out next summer to book this room again. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Perfect location

Great stay overall! The location is super convenient—right by the elevators—though that does mean you might encounter a bit of a wait during busy times. Communication through the app was a bit delayed, so I’d recommend calling or texting for quicker responses.Parking in Tower #2 was manageable, unless you’re arriving late at night when it gets a bit more crowded.There were a couple of downsides: the dryer vent was broken and unfortunately damaged one of my favorite swimsuits. I also noticed a need for a deeper clean in some areas to address a few odors and mild mold spots. The bathrooms were decent, but the mattresses could definitely be more comfortable.During our stay, the combo lock stopped working, so we had to leave the door open at times. Thankfully, I never felt unsafe—security regularly patrols the property.All in all, it’s a decent place to crash with a few areas for improvement.

Great stay!

Everything was great! View was awesome and description was accurate! Nice and clean and comfortable. We had 4 adults a teen and 2 kids and there was plenty of room for us all. Easy and quick check in. The location on the beach can't be beat. We had a great stay and will def stay again in the future. Two things that have been stated before are parking and dryer filter. Parking CAN be a headache IF you are bound and determined to use the main parking deck especially if you have anything bigger than a mid-sized SUV. However, there is adequate parking around the property and even a smaller parking deck that seems to be suited for larger vehicles with a short walk. Also has been stated in previous reviews, the dryer filter still hasn't been fixed or replaced and that is a fire hazard.

Easter at the beach

The condo was perfect for our needs! The balcony furniture was ideal for breakfast with a view. The kitchen had all we needed and having a washer/dryer to do laundry is a huge perk! Also the beach chair service right in front of the resort made our beach trips smooth and easy. Grand Panama resort itself was also wonderful. Elevator waits were not terrible. If you go during Spring Break you have to expect waits everywhere. Parking was fine with ample spots and location is good, not terribly busy like down by Pier Park or Shores of Panama. Would avoid those areas during late spring/summer for sure! The Tiki Bar out by pool had good food and drink options. Pool was heated and big enough to enjoy even with many people. Communication with the condo owner was exceptional - quick and helpful responses! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great location, but. . .

We love staying at Grand Panama. The condo was well stocked and generally clean. It is in need of a good deep cleaning before the busy summer. Extensive water damage on hanging shelf in extra bath and mold on vents. The curtains in 2nd bedroom were stained at the floor level, like water damage, needs to be replaced. Heavy dust on ceiling fan in second bedroom . The dryer vent needs to be replaced, cut finger trying to clean out. We do love staying here, but this unit does not live up to the standard that we usually experience at Grand Panama .

Didn't Return Security Deposit and Would Not Return Emails

The vacation was nice. The beach is great, the chair rentals were nice and very convenient. The condo is nice. There were light bulbs missing, post it notes indicating not to touch some light switches, the wood on the side of the cabinet in the guest bath is exposed, the guest bed seems like it has a broken support under the bed. The place is clean overall, well stocked, and centrally located. The complex itself is nice, rooms are quiet and keep out outside noise. Furniture was nice and the decorations were nice. I work in public service and make a point to leave places nicer than we found them and this condo was no different. But, after our stay Angie wouldn't return emails and I never got my 200 security deposit back. After more than a decade of using VRBO that was a first for us.

Overall thoughts

Overall this was a really nice place to stay. The only thing we hated was parking across the street and the extremely narrow parking spaces. The dishwasher leaks at the bottom but I did send them a message to make them aware as this was noticed the night before we left as that was the first time we even used during our stay. The lint screen inside the dryer needs to be replaced as it is hardly attached to the frame and causes lint to escape into the dryer and onto clothes. The refrigerator doesn’t seem to cool very well and may need to be checked or replaced. The first bedroom located on the left after entering really needs to have some blackout curtains or shades as the outside lights shine inside and they are bright. The hallway bathroom cabinet on the wall needs replacing as it is obvious that there seemed to be a water leak from the ceiling at some point and caused the particle board on the cabinet to swell and flake and there is obvious water damage between the shower and sink as the bottom of the cabinet near the shower shows some damage. Lastly, everything could use a little dusting such as light fixtures, cabinets, etc. Besides these noticeable things, which I’m sure is an easy fix, I would highly recommend.

We had a great time!

We had a great experience staying here. The property is very accurate to the description and pictures on the site are what you can expect. It is well furnished with the balcony seating perfect for eating outside or relaxing while enjoying the views and listening to the waves. This place has a lot going for it: - Location is close to restaurants, the pier, grocery, a Walmart, and tons of those beach stores - Waterfront view from the 9th floor is tremendous - The beach is great with crystal clear water, very clean beach area, and came with chairs and an umbrella - Pool is nice and has a lot of space for you to enjoy time with your family without being on top of others - The tiki bar/grill and the shaved ice being available right by the pool was excellent, and reasonably priced - The unit itself is spacious with plenty of comfortable beds - The resort is kept really clean in the common areas and the resort staff were very pleasant to deal with In other reviews I’ve seen the elevators and parking deck called out as issues. My feedback would be that the elevators could be slower/busier certain times of day coinciding with morning heading out to the beach and coming back in the late afternoon with wagons, beach chairs, etc. They are a breeze other than those times. As to the parking deck, I have a full size truck and didn't attempt the main deck because there are options for outside parking around tower 2 as well as a smaller deck that was half full at most at any time, so for bigger vehicles, there are options. The only additional consideration point that isn’t called out is that while this specific unit doesn’t allow pets, the resort itself does and you should expect to see a good number of dogs and all the things that come with them. The people in the unit next to us left their dog locked up in their room while they were out and we could hear it bark and whine through the wall daily. Something to have on your radar if other peoples pets are something you want to avoid on vacation.

Quick Spring Getaway

This is a very nice condo with a fantastic view of the beach. I love the large soaking tub in the bathroom! The kitchen has everything you will need. The pools and hot tub are only open from 10-10. Would have liked to have been able to swim some laps earlier in the morning, and it would be nice if the Association would keep younger children (under 16) out of the hot tub. Overall, this is a lovely place!

Perfect Vacay

Good Trip, great owners

Property was as noted on VRBO. Pictures were good representations of the rental. No major problems with the rental. Owners were very responsive. We had the batteries on the door lock fail early in our stay. The owners had a backup to get us in the rental and then had someone come replace the batteries. Property as a whole was nice. However, the wait for the elevators can be long. I would recommend the owners and property if condos are your preference.

Beautiful view

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The pictures online were very accurate. The view was amazing!! Couldn’t of wanted a better view! The place was clean and the resort was perfect. Having a sno cone stand for the kids and a tiki bar was perfect! This was a huge plus to have! The elevators were very slow and we had to take the stairs for a couple days. Nine flights wasn’t easy. The parking was a nightmare! Nightmare!! Those were the only two bad things. Overall, we had a great time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Getaway

Our family stayed in this beautiful condo for four nights. The pictures are completely accurate - the view is amazing and the condo is extremely comfortable. Having the beach chairs and umbrella available was as great amenity - these made it so easy to go enjoy the day at the beach. The property pool and hot tub are very nice and clean, and the poolside bar has the best french fries ever!. We had a small issue come up on the night we checked in, but the owners were very responsive and took care of it immediately. I highly recommend this rental!
