Clean and comfortable

My family and I recently stayed at Casa Bella and we hope to stay there again in the future (sooner than later)! The place was clean and comfortable, as well as close enough to walk to town and the beach. In addition, the owner was quick to respond to my emails. My only suggestion would be to have a binder in the house that explained expectations for check-out. I highly recommend staying at Casa Bella!

Comfort at Casa Bella

We had a perfect stay at Casa Bella. Sara was a great host. Always accessible and helpful. We enjoyed the wonderful patio in the sunshine and in the evening with the fire table while cooking on the grill. The location is excellent. Walking distance to a park, great restaurants, stores. We walked everywhere on Coronado. An extra pleasure are the avocado, orange , and lemon trees on the main house property. An outstanding respite from the Midwestern cold, snow, and ice. We’re looking forward to next winter for perhaps a longer time !Thank you, Sara !

Cozy Cottage / Centrally Located

Clean, clutter-free, open living space felt very comfortable. We enjoyed walking everywhere we went. Each morning included a stroll to the bay or ocean. The afternoon included Dog Beach, an off leash treat. We felt like Casa Bella was our second home. Some days all we wanted was to enjoy a good book on the patio. But, Chicano Park under the bridge is being restored, fabulous! Balboa Park museums is an easy 15 minutes away. Perfect oasis for relaxation and together time. Thank you Sara for hosting us

Case Bella

Small but comfortable with thoughtful touches from the host including makings for S’mores, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, bikes and beach toys. We had a great relaxing time.

Location and Value

Casa Bella is in the very center of Coronado! All attractions - restaurants, shopping, markets, beaches - are within walking or biking distance. Condo is clean with nice decor, high end appliances, new flooring and kitchen cabinetry. Quarters are tight with four or five occupants but very comfortable for two. The large patio practically doubles the size of the open kitchen/living room area. We were pleasantly surprised that street parking was not a problem at all even during August when Coronado is most crowded. Sara was an exceptionally gracious hostess. She was readily available by text or email and quick to respond to some maintenance issues that came up and were resolved. Overall, a very delightful experience!

This cottage is a great value in a great location.

La Casa Bella is a 2 bedroom cottage located on Coronado Island. The entrance is from a quiet alley in a neighborhood with low traffic volume and numerous churches. It is less than a mile from the San Diego waterfront with spectacular views of the Coronado Bridge and the city. In the other direction, it is about a mile from a beautiful beach on the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, there is a lovely bike path along the Silver Strand where bicycles, rollerblades, runners and other pedestrians mingle. Excellent restaurants abound. The owners are wonderful, caring and responsive. They quickly replaced the batteries in a chirping smoke detector, and fixed a faucet that was working erratically. We spent 3 glorious, enjoyable months there and would absolutely return. They provided lots of amenities including disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, nice pictures on the walls and lots of cleaning materials for us. Due to Covid concerns, this was important. The washer and dryer were quiet and efficient, and we really appreciated the convenience of having them provided. There were also heaters and air conditioners in every room. A warm comforter was a welcome addition in December when the nights grew colder. We have stayed in a number of places around the country and in San Diego. We consider Casa Bella one of the best in terms of value, environment and responsiveness of the owner. We highly recommend this rental.

Great location and amenities

My husband and I stayed here for a week while I went to a conference at the SD convention center and he worked from the house. I took the ferry over and back most days, which was only about a 15 minute walk to the dock. We walked to the downtown for restaurants and the beach, which were always outstanding. Coronado really is a special place. The house was extremely comfortable and private with great wifi, comfortable beds, and a well appointed kitchen. It was a really fantastic stay.

Great Place to Stay

Perfect for my wife and I for the weekend. Walking distance to everything in Coronado. BBQ'd steaks one night that we picked up at the local grocery store. Saw a live show. Ate at many great restaurants. Beach. Shopping. And then a nice little private place to "get away from it all" in between. Exactly what we were looking for.

In the heart of Coranado in a quite neighborhood one block from a park, five blocks from the water, four to six blocks to restaurants and bistros. Perfect for experiencing the whole San Diego scene!

BEAUTIFUL casita and fantastic location

We loved this little house. One enters from a big wooden gate in the alleyway - onto an adorable little patio, replete with gas fireplace and chairs. The house is cute as can be and outfitted with absolutely everything one could need. (We stayed as a couple with our two children - plenty of room!) And, the location - 4 blocks from the beach, 3 to restaurants and bike shops and shopping and ice creams. GREAT place to visit - we're grateful.
