Me and my GF booked this place last minute. We wanted to have a nice getaway in the Eastern Townships.
When we arrived, the property was exactly what we wanted. Right next to all of these splendid hiking trails. Our cottage was adjacent to the lake.
The lake is so refreshing and clean. You can walk in it with your bare feet.
Inside the cabin, we got the wood stove crackling with a glowing hot fire. It was so soothing. Had a nice bbq steak dinner. Would go to cool off on our midnight swims in the lake.
Did beautiful nighttime hikes under the full array of stars and moon.
I have to say, this was one of the best moments I ever had camping, and quite frankly, one of the top moments in general. I highly recommend coming here.
Frank was such a gracious and down to earth host.
Our host was interesting and friendly. We visited for a family ski vacation. Definately had a communication failure. Would suggest sending important information via text and email. Good thing we are a go by the flow family! The cottage does not come with pillows, sheets or blankets but our host was able to accommodate for a fee. For others that Vbro this is a camp not anything else. Know to bring all paper products, seasonings ect. We brought the majority of our food and were grateful the major store is about 15 minutes away and did not pass another major one in our 5 days of travels. The cottage has a stove, microwave, a few pots/ pans, coffee pot/ toaster and utensils. We did not use the grill. It did have heat and a wood stove with wood provided that lasted us our 5 nights! Bring a few games there is no WiFi or tv which is fine but bring cards or dice. We picked some up. We liked the off the grid kind of feel with the kids so had a great trip! We would go again but would come way better prepared. Would definately recommend for families who want to get everyone away from their electronics and visit Montreal or go skiing. Lots of great mountains in the area and beautiful views! Our family appreciates your hospitality!
