Sweet retreat in the woods

Our little cabin had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Host Frank is very warm and welcoming and gave us a helpful overview of his beautiful property. We enjoyed hiking and swimming and access to the region. The lake is lovely! Next time we’ll hope for better weather to enjoy it more. Just two things in our cabin that could be fixed: the bedroom has a strong mildew odour from damp; it would be great if the laundry line was on the sunny side of the cabin, as it is not possible to dry anything in the current shady location. A la prochaine!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le chalet Le Manitou. Le chalet est généralement bien équipé pour cuisiner. L'espace est fonctionnel. Le chalet isolé nous a apporté de la tranquillité. Les sentiers de randonnée auraient pu être aménagés davantage afin d'être plus pratiquables en temps de pluie. Le paysage y était cependant magnifique. L'information offerte sur Vrbo était incomplète. Il a fallu consulter le site Internet pour savoir ce que nous devions apporter. Aucun message de l'hôte nous avait été envoyé avant le début de notre séjour pour nous indiquer les directives d'arrivée, mais suite à un message de ma part, le propriétaire m'a rappelée rapidement et a répondu à mes questions efficacement. Nous avons trouvé que les heures de départ étaient tôt (10h). Nous recommandons cet endroit pour décrocher et se reposer.

Simplicité

Une fin de semaine calme et reposante, une belle balade en forêt malgré la saison "entre-deux". L'attrait principal pour nous était la proximité au spa des chutes de Bolton, mais nous reviendrons probablement avec les enfants en hiver afin de profiter des activités en plein air!
