Captain's Quarters redefines ABSOLUTE BEACHFRONT. A few steps up into the first level and the promised view doesn't disappoint, through the windows, across the deck and over the lawn, a majestic Pandanus tree frame a breathtaking vista. Captain's Quarters consists of 5 bedrooms, lounge-room, kitchen and games room. It's the perfect location for a beach holiday with extended family and/or friends.

Upstairs, features breathtaking views, a wood-burning fireplace, two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room.

Downstairs, features another three bedrooms, a bathroom, and games room with pool table.



The home is very cosy and understated, with a wood-burning fireplace and spectacular views, you can't help but be drawn into a state of complete relaxation. The stone walls surrounding the pool will leave you spoilt for choice when looking for the ideal spot to sit back and enjoy the views. During whale watching season, enjoy spotting the whales as they swim passed, and watch out for the dolphins that swim by every day!

We had a wonderful family getaway at Captains Quarters. The location and views are absolutely outstanding — falling asleep to the sound of the waves was such a treat.The house was exactly as described: super comfortable, well-equipped, and stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. The laundry facilities were excellent too.The only small downside was not being able to open the doors around the pool due to the older build and current pool safety requirements, and we did need to secure the stairs for the babies.Aside from that, everything was fantastic. The host was very responsive and helpful with any inquiries we had. We would happily stay again!

Beautiful house, spacious and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Only small downsides for us were the garden had no fences at all so our puppy had to be on leash all the time outside (she was too young to reliably come when called) and we didn’t use the pool at all as it was full of sand crabs, even within an hour of scooping them all out! Beach is beautiful for a walk, but not safe for swimming (very strong currents and too many submerged rocks). Definitely need a car for this one, but Coffs is only a short drive and lots of parks and nice cafes short drive away. Lovely stay overall - felt a million miles away which was just what we needed.

Fantastic location - couldnt be any closer to the beach, pool was an added bonus and great on the couple of days we were there. The A/c was a cracker and was needed, made inside super comfortable. Overall a great place to stay with family or friends.

Family holiday Sapphire Beach

This property is in a stunning location and has all the comforts you could wish for. Direct beach access, plenty of street parking, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

Awesome house and amazing location. Very happy and would stay here again. The downstairs does not have A/C and could use some more fans for airflow, but some may not have a concern with sleeping temps

Perfect accommodation for two families with teens

The house was spacious, well-equipped and the perfect accommodation for our group of two families.The teens enjoyed the downstairs rooms and pool table while the adults enjoyed the incredible views from the upstairs level. Amazing absolute beachfront position - we saw dolphins most days.

Ladies Weekend

We had our annual ladies trip here...it was just fantastic! The house was perfect for all of us. The photos were what you see! The location perfect for a stroll on the beach! We were able to relax in different areas of the house without being in each others pockets! Would definately recommend this home!

On the beach

Great location, right on the beach. Unfortunately, cyclone Alfred happened whilst we stayed...but not much anyone could do about that. House was spotless. Only reason we rated it 4 is the communication was quite poor with the letting agency. We sent a couple of emails during our stay, and no one bothered to reply, which seemed below average service for this type of house. However, you wont get closer to the sand.

Location location location!

What an incredible holiday house! Our family of 10 had everything we needed for a perfect short getaway. We were impressed by the cleanliness, the quality of the linen and pillows, and how well-equipped the kitchen was. The beds were super comfortable, complete with protectors on both the mattresses and pillows - a clear sign that cleanliness is a priority here.We made great use of the BBQ, the pool, and, of course, the amazing beach access. We truly fell in love with both the house and its stunning location. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. We're already planning to rebook for next year!The only downside was the lack of communication—all of our messages went unanswered, though we're not sure if the issue was on our end?Overall, we highly recommend booking this house.

Prime location

Overall it was a nice, large property easily able to accommodate 7 people (4 adults and 3 children) with gorgeous views of the sea.The kitchen had nice appliances and the beds were clean and comfortable. Parts of the house were a little run down, such as the drier not working properly at the time, loose door knobs and the shower leaking a bit. But the most disappointing thing for me was finding the pool full of crabs. There wasn't a pool cover and we cleaned them out every day but new ones kept coming back which ruined the use of the pool for me personally. But that may not bother anyone else and the pool itself was nice and spacious. There is a billiards table that I was excited to find but it had a rip in the felt and dents in the cushions which made playing quite difficult. I also wish they had blinds or curtains along the dining room wall because the sun comes blaring in when you sit down to eat in the morning and also gets glare on the TV. The private beach access goes to a pebbly part of the water with a steep drop off and pretty violent waves, so nice to watch from the balcony or lawn chairs but not to actually swim in. Ultimately it was an enjoyable stay but I was expecting a bit more for what we paid.

Great time right on the beachfront

Property has amazing location stunning views, especially sunrise from most rooms in the house. Kids enjoyed the pool, rock hunting on the beach and proximity to the Big Banana Theme Park. We were able to BBQ each night and enjoy the sound of the waves. Hosts were responsive, even delivering a new gas tank in minutes! Property is as displayed.
