Sand Pointe 212 - Gulf view vacation rental condominium

Welcome to Sand Pointe 212. Our second-floor vacation rental condominium offers a lovely view of the Gulf of Mexico from our private, screened lanai. Plenty of space for up to six guests with two bedrooms/two bathrooms and a spacious living and dining area. We have a full kitchen that has been updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Perfect for preparing a family meal. The master bedroom suite has a very comfortable king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedroom has two twin beds and a full bathroom just off the bedroom. Sand Pointe, as a complex, features a beautiful courtyard with a pond, a heated pool, and is just steps from the sand. The West Gulf Drive location offers wonderful sunset views and a bit more privacy than you may find with other Island locations. We'll look forward to welcoming you to our vacation home away from home for a week or longer. Please note that Sand Pointe is a non-smoking complex, property-wide.

**Please note: The association pool is not scheduled to be open until mid to late 2026. Also, there is beach access on-site, however, the boardwalk is not open. There may be noise associated with ongoing construction, landscaping and unit rebuilds**

Beautiful Location

We had the best time in Sanibel at Sand Pointe! The view from the condo was beautiful and the space was perfect for our family of 5. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful view from #212

Stocked with everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach towels. It looked just like the pictures we viewed online. Beautiful view of the ocean! We enjoyed coffee on the veranda each morning. However the sliding doors in the master bedroom are sealed shut and do not open. We missed sleeping with the ocean breeze blowing in. We were really looking forward to it and missed the opportunity the entire week. Also the lint trap on the dryer doesn't fit correctly and our clothes caught on it and tore. The rubber seal on the washer opening is full of mold/mildew. Overall it was a good stay. Just taking care of a couple of things mentioned will make the next guests stay a little more comfortable.

Thank you for your review. So happy that you enjoyed the condo and had a great time. We’ll certainly get on the concerns right away about the washer and dryer. Over time, dryer vents can have lint down below that keeps it from fitting properly. Also, we do our best on the washer gasket, but if it’s wet and not left open a crack, the mildew can appear. We’ll tend to that right away

The condo was great! Been coming to Sand Pointe for years..first time back after Ian. It’s a work in progress..booked for next year so hopefully more things will be done. Not impressed with Dream Vacations. But the condo itself was great!

The dryer lent trap does not fit flush into the hole. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but while in use it catches your clothes and twists them into a tight ball preventing them from drying. Additionally, it caught two pairs of my shorts and ripped them. Not a huge thing, but also not something you'd notice until someone gets upset about clothing damage. Also, one beach chair was rusted through and broken and the umbrella was bent and broken upon arrival. We left these separate from other working items to be removed if needed. Great overall! LOVED the porch and view! They were great. Loved the text service. Our two very minor issues were remedied same day and was seamless to our stay.

Great View and Appointments

The condo had a ton of appointments not usually included. Both a Kerig and coffee pot, tons of dishes, pots/pans, and cooking items. The balcony and view are amazing. Our children loved the pond with iguanas, birds, tiny frogs, and tadpoles. Great furniture and the sofa bed was so comfortable, we actually got the brand to buy one for our home! Great condo and super comfy!

We love Sand Pointe and will be back! The email I received back when I inquiries about what type of coffee maker I should prepare for was very curt, unfriendly and unhelpful. I was told that “last we’d been in” there was both a keurig and a drip coffee maker but that these are “the first to go so we don’t guarantee them.” It’s strange to not guarantee a coffee maker when going to a condo with an equipped kitchen. Also, “last we’d been in” doesn’t help me know if this was a week ago or two years ago.

Beautiful and cosy condo.

Beautiful and cosy condo. The master bedroom has very comfortable bed and spacious closet. Kitchen is fully equipped with necessary utensils. The views from the balcony are amazing. The balcony is spacious and has comfortable furniture where you can lounge. Listening to the waves while enjoying a glass of coffee is perfect. Close to the restaurants. Definitely will come back and would recommend it to others.

Little slice of paradise

Beautiful spot on Sanibel. We enjoyed our stay with friends. The screened porch was lovely for morning coffee and dinners. We rented bikes and enjoyed all the bike paths. The access to the beach was easy and close. The beds were comfortable and the living room was comfy and provided plenty of room. We hope to return!!!!

It was lovely. Our first time here and we didn’t realize we had to let you know within 72 hours if we wanted to rent next year. I called to ask about availability for next year for a 2 bed 2 bath ocean view and didn’t get much help. But we love Sanibel and would like to come back in February for a week or two. Thanks.

Wonderful property!

We spent two weeks at Sand Pointe 212 and had a great time! The view is spectacular to wake up to each morning. Property Management was extremely responsive to a couple of minor issues. Condo is clean and very comfortable. My only constructive comment would be that it’s probably time for some new beach chairs..
