Guest review: Morning swims are a must as the birds are so lively and butterflies land on your toes,” reads one guest’s comment in Casa al Bosco’s visitor book. Indeed, a more relaxing spot than this lovely old stone farmhouse and its spacious guest house for two would be hard to find. Its interiors are finished in an updated, uncluttered Tuscan style. There are two fireplaces for cool evenings, a pretty loggia for dining in warm weather and a marvellous pool for cooling off. Igf sightseeing is on the agenda, it’s a beautiful 20-minute drive to Castellina in Chianti and 30 minutes to Siena.
