This property is a newly renovated beach front property with an adjoining apartment based in Whangateau. The property is five mins to Matakana and Leigh and 10 mins to Omaha. Formally the property was a 1901 Post Office that serviced the wider area and is one of the original properties in the area.

The holiday home comes with kayaks (4), standup paddle boards and has its own boat ramp

Amazing location and property!

Me and my family had an incredible time at this beachfront property. The weather held up nicely so we were able to enjoy the sun and relax at the Bach. I couldn't recommend this property enough!

A slice of paradise

Stunning Property

A very special place

This place could not have been better for our family get-together. The house is great with a big kitchen, plenty of seating and options for eating inside or out. The view is beautiful, looking over to Omaha and Ti Point. There are some good kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for water activities. It’s a great location and Kevin is a warm and helpful host. None of us wanted to leave and we all want to come again!

Exceeding our expectations

We stayed here with our bridal parties for our wedding in Matakana and the property blew us away. Photos really can’t do this place the justice it so deserves. We had a truly amazing time and would 1000% book this place again. Communication with the owner was so clear and consistent and really helped us be stress free here at the property.

Just perfect

Two wonderfully appointed properties allowed the family and friends to gather over a 7 day period in a home like environment. With kayaks on hand , the bird sanctuary was a short paddle and being inland we were protected from the worse of the weather. Everything was supplied and Kevin was very helpful. A great location, close to everything

Great Getaway for Relaxation

My family and I had a wonderful weekend away, only wish it was longer. Property was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were able to take our jet ski's, with the easy access and enjoy some fun on the water, then relax in the warm spa afterwards. Plenty of wood supplied for the fire and great recommendations for dinner. Kevin was very accommodating and easy to get hold of with any queries. We will definitely be returning.

This is the perfect retreat for summer or winter. Not only does host, Kevin, go above and beyond in advice but his home is exceptionally clean and generously supplied with everything you need including upgraded amenities. The kitchen is well stocked, firewood piled high (indoor and outdoor), stacks of towels and even some starter nespresso pods and laundry detergent. The adults loved hitting golf balls into the harbor and picking them up at low tide. The kids enjoyed the swings, kayaks and water gear. EVERYONE loved the spa pool. Once you've stayed at this house, you will want to come back again and again. It is both easily accessible to local attractions (thanks for the great tips, Kevin) and it's a quiet beach haven all to yourself. Grateful for the new memories made and can't wait to come back any time of the year.

Wonderful Autumn break in Whangateau

We had a wonderful Autumn week at this beautiful property. The weather was not perfect but it didn't matter, we were still able to walk, kayak, use the spa and most importantly relax. Kevin was helpful and gave us great tips about where to go in the area. A special place, so close to everything that the Matakana Coast has to offer.

Absolutely amazing property on the beach.

One of our best weekends over summer. Kevin and Nicky are great hosts and the property is beautifully presented and as described being right on the beach with use of water sports gear. Real value for money. We’ll be back for sure.

True Paradise

A wonderful experience was full of surprises all due to the priceless tips on the locals best-kept secrets given by our host Kevin. You could probably save hundreds from seeking guided tours and get by for 4-5 days of adventure packed activities day and night. Kevin was super friendly and willing to lend a hand with great kindness and ease during our entire stay. The location is a rare find; a combination of a historical landing with mature wildlife (both marine and aerial) with sleek, modern facilities that cater for all our comforts. 这真是一次又一次充满着意外惊喜的度假。度假屋设计的时尚，艺术，温馨，有家的感觉。房东是一个很有绅士风度的男人。也很健谈，很友好。他给我们介绍了许多周边好玩的地方，把我们的度假生活塞满了奇妙的体验。对于很多人来说肯定会有好几个人生第一次，我们还会再来。

Absolute Paradise

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house at Whangateau. The house has all modern amenities and comfortable large beds. The children all had a ball spending hours and hours on the private beach playing on the swings and sea toys. We would love to come back and stay again. Thank you.
