3 Bedroom Beach House behind Vanderhorst Gate

2259 Doral Open, beautiful 3 bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and a spacious deck to enjoy the gorgeous scenic view and is just a 10-minute bike ride to the beach.

The whole house is newly decorated with a colorful, fun beach theme throughout. Enter the main living area and enjoy the large windows showcasing the tropical scenic foliage. The space offers a comfortable sofa, mounted flat screen TV and access to the deck. The fully equipped kitchen has white and navy cabinets, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining table that seats six. There is a 2nd living space off the entry that has small couch with chaise lounge. Enjoy the gorgeous views from the porch, that seats 4, or the deck that's equipped with a gas grill and has steps leading to the back yard. A half bath completes the common space.

On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom with a king bed, mounted TV, views overlooking the deck and en suite bathroom. The updated bathroom features vanity with double sinks and a tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath in the hall with a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom features two queen sized bed and a private bathroom a spacious walk-in shower.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer and high speed wireless internet.

Enjoy Kiawah Island's miles of bike trails, 5 world-class golf courses, renowned tennis center, Night Heron Park's nature center, boating, fishing, and nearby horseback riding on Seabrook Island. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from downtown Charleston.

Fabulous House & Great Location

Communication with and responsiveness of rental agency was 10/10 -- only needed them once for something minor anyway! For a last-minute booking we got very lucky!!! The house is in a great location: behind the second gate and not so close to ocean course, so biking to Freshfields is an option and the beach is a five minute bike ride away. House has been renovated/redecorated -- super cute and beachy. Updated Wi-Fi and tv streaming. You do need to bring your beach towels and we brought portable sun lounge chairs for the back deck after looking at the pictures and saw that there is no way to lay out. Recommend to home owners loungers for back deck.

Family vacation

The home is just as pictured in the photos. Very accurate description regarding items in the home. We requested an early check-in, which was granted. The home is lovely, however the cleaning crew was not very good. In fact my daughter asked them to return due to food crumbs, sticky surfaces and mildew smell. Crew returned with cleaning products and left them for our use!?!? We found an old balloon and goldfish under the dining table while enjoying a family meal, the garage can had old coffee grinds inside, dirty spots on the master bed comforter, rugs need cleaning and the patio would have been nice to use, if had been swept and cleaned prior to our arrival. Despite the above the home is comfortable. Suggestions for improvements: New bath garbage cans, hand mirrors and soap dispensers that are not rusted. A few throw blankets for lounging, and most of all a door for the master bath, and please pay for Xfinity service, include a TV and small desk in the entry sitting room and upgrade the WiFi, drapes over the family room sliding doors and fix the kitchen door lock. These fixes are minimal and would definitely improve the overall image and functionality of the home given the weekly rental price. Would we rent again??? Perhaps, but weā€™d search for other similarly priced options first.

This was a very nice house, well-decorated, very clean, and well-maintained. Property manager was very responsive. Check in process was super easy. Great location on Kiawah. Would rent again.

Beautiful, relaxation

The property was absolutely beautiful. Just like the pictures. We were there for a wedding on the island. I wish we couldā€™ve stayed longer. The management company was very responsive to our message about a TV remote not working. Next time I will try to stay longer! The island was just beautiful and the home amazing!

Relaxing Week at Kiawah

The week stay at the property was very comfortable. Loved loved loved the large showers! The location was good and suitable for a week of relaxation near the beach. Our party had 3 adults from 50s to mid 70s and there was enough space for each of us to retreat for quiet time. It would have been nice to have basic spices stocked but the listing was clear those things were not included. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a reunion

The house was perfectly located on Kiawah. We were just a 15 min walk to the beach and had access to everything we needed. The only downside was the house truly does have the bare minimum essentials so be prepared to bring a lot of your own gear.

Beautiful Home!

We loved this house! We were here for a wedding and it was the perfect place to stay. Plenty of room, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and beautiful views. The only suggestion would be to put a lamp in the 3rd floor room to read in bed and a door on the master bath for more privacy.

Relaxing retreat

Attractive, very clean and well furnished house. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen well equipped and adequate starter supplies were provided. There is a Drip carafe --style coffeemaker so ground coffee is required. We couldn't locate Netflix or Prime so some TV instructions would be helpful. Exterior lockbox challenged us a bit too. All in all, it's a delightful choice for a family gathering or couples weekend.

Well-maintained property with good living space and kitchen. Slightly long pedal to the beach but manageable with adults. New appliances, good showers and linens. Slightly sluggish plumbing on occasion. Only notes: VERY firm master mattress, no easy access to hose to rinse off sand.

Beautiful home

This property has a beautifully designed interior and is represented nicely by the photos. We easily rode bikes to the beach everyday (10 min) and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The wifi was excellent even for zoom meetings. A few items were lacking that I think could easily be fixed. We enjoyed grilling on the deck but it was full of leaves and branches as if it hadnā€™t been swept off in months. I couldnā€™t find a broom anywhere. Extra pillows for the bed were supplied in the closet which was nice (because my husband and I like to sleep with 2 pillows each) but they were unusable because there were no pillow cases for them. Access to a couple more towels would have been nice as well. Small things that would take the luxury level up a notch. All in all, this is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Rarely are rentals nicer than the photos online - this unit absolutely is nicer than the pictures. Beautifully decorated house in an ideal location on the island. Highly recommend this house. Thank you for a great visit.
