Beautiful but filthy
When we initially walked into the home we were happy with the decor. As we walked through the apartment the issues began to pile up. First one of the guest bedrooms light/fan controller was broken. Then we walked into the master bathroom where the musty smell of mold was thick. The floor of the shower was covered in black mold. And worse, under the sink in the master bathroom cabinet was completely covered in black mold. The drain stopper for the sink was leaking so many guests must have used the bathroom sink which caused water to pool inside the sink cabinet. A crew came in to clean the bathroom shower and some of the surfaces but the musty smell was still there during our stay. (There’s likely mold behind the cabinet and all along the flooring the cabinet sits upon)
Every surface in the apartment was dirty. The sink handles in the bathroom and kitchen were covered in residue. Most glass and chrome finishing has fingerprints. Not cleaning the home thoroughly between each guest during a pandemic is incredibly irresponsible.
The Android TV box didn’t work and was missing a remote. So we could not watch anything other than a few live channels.
Only reason we’re leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were quick to respond. The guard was friendly and helpful but they won’t do repairs unless you are presently in the unit. We had activities planned with our family so they weren’t able to address all of the issues with the apartment during our stay.
I could have overlooked the other issues but the mold + dirty surfaces is unacceptable especially during the current global climate.
