Nice and cozy house. It was nice an clean. It had a fully stocked kitchen with the exception of a potato peeler. It was a wonderful place to have Thanksgiving.
The house was perfect for our family as we celebrated our Nephew’s wedding in nearby White Salmon. The listing was VERY accurate. Renovations were beautifully done. Separate wall heaters in each room were appreciated.
Home was cute and as advertised. Floors were sticky in spots and not cleaned other than vacuumed over. Could use some pizza pans for the oven, and the bathrooms need to have full window shades as I was showering I looked out and right at a neighbor sitting in a chair who was looking at me, though they can only see the top of your shoulder and head, this should not be possible. We loved the area and the home overall, these things being taken care of would make this a 5 star!!
We stayed over the New Years weekend and it was great. The house is very clean and well appointed. The kitchen comes with most everything you will need to cook meals. Lots of glassware and 8 place settings. The beds are very comfortable and great pillow, which is always important. We did have a little trouble with the code at the front door and I'm pretty sure the owners had to let us in twice. Thank goodness for the doorbell camera.
We overall enjoyed the stay. The house was clean and easy to find. Beds and pillows were very comfortable all around and there was plenty of room for our big group to attend a wedding in Stevenson.
- no extra bedding or towels to be found. We had a baby with us and had no access to any spare towers or sheets. We checked in a bit late at 830p and by the time we realized it we had tried to call the number in our check-in email and got a voicemail.
- they didn't have a wine bottle opener, that would be helpful to have with the basic silverware
- even a small amount of coffee grounds for the first morning would be a nice touch since we got in late and the super market was closed by then once we realized there wasn't coffee but there were some tea bags
Overall would recommend and stay again but will need to coordinate more in advabce based on above
The house was really nice overall. There were a few minor issues and the house was freezing when we arrived but overall it was a good stay and I'd stay again.
The one challenge we had was the front door lock. There was a note that the buttons stick, which they did, but even so it took multiple attempts to enter the code to get to work.
Baseboard heater came on in upstairs bedroom, wasn’t needed, and knob was broken so we couldn’t turn it off.
We found the property to be very clean and it was otherwise as advertised. The location is ideal and just a short walk to shops and restaurants in Stevenson. Would recommend.
Love the easy access to the property, cleanness and it met my expectations. It worth fr wht i paid fr will definitely rent again in the future and recommend to friends n families.
