On the Beach is a freshly renovated Beach House located on the front at Bulwer Moreton Island. In a dead end Road with only local traffic and just a minute stroll to the ocean for that early morning dip, makes this a perfect holiday location for a large or 2 small families, a group of fisherman, couples or someone wanting a quiet peaceful holiday on the pristine, white sandy beaches of Moreton each .

Hard to leave

Happy Days on the Beach is the perfect accommodation for families. The location is perfect and the owner was very responsive in his communication and ensured we had everything we needed. Doubt we’ll stay anywhere else again on Moreton Island.

Perfect location and perfect beach house

The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the outdoor kitchen, the front deck and it was nice having 2 toilets and showers. We will be back!!

Double booked for the end of our stay and host wouldn't answer our phone calls while we were there

We initially noticed that the host was a poor communicator when he wouldn't answer any questions about the property for months prior to the booking. When we managed to get in contact the host confessed that he had double booked for the time at the end of our stay but was willing to arrange compensation in the form of barge fees etc when we reached the island. The host then refused to answer most of our phone calls. The only compensation we received was free linen hire and 6 pieces of firewood which does not come close to the amount of money that we are now out of pocket. We won't be using this host again.

Location Location

Don and Mary are just lovely, they were able to check us in early. The place was in fantastic location very clean with everything you need! We will be back!

Perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Everything was clean and tidy. The property is very close to the beach. They are improving the property as I speak. When we left the property they were building a deck at the front of the house. So you can sit on the deck have a drink and look at the beach. The next thing they are building is a bbq area. So the improvement are continuing. Very very impressive. I will be hiring this property again.
