It was as a nice weekend away…loved the coffee shop down the street. The house had plenty of space and beds.

Friends Reunion

My friends and I gathered at the Ridgecrest for a friends reunion, and we had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful and the space was perfect for our needs… plenty of beds, large dining area, game room, pool table, etc. it was perfect for our gathering. We also loved using the hot tub. We had a wonderful stay and made great memories!

Remarkable House equipped with an incredible pool and Hot Tub. Extremely close to Nemacolin

Absolutely Amazing from Getting into the house with electronic key code to the moment we left after a early morning swim. kitchen was well equipped, pool and hot tub added to our fun. Pool Table in basement made for late night fun for the teens. Cant wait to come back again!

family vacation

large house with plenty of room, nice pool...needs a little maintenance...staff addressed issues quickly...needs more dishes and silverware....we had 14 people and there was 14 dishes and 14 place settings...could use extra , but all in all a nice place to stay

A great family reunion home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We gather together from Ohio and NJ to enjoy a weekend of white water rafting, swimming, hot tubbing and fun. Our rental fit the bill! Pool table at night, board games and cards to chillax, we enjoyed it all. Kitchen was great size for all 9 adults to prep meals, while the grandkids(4 kids under 9 yrs old) were played. I'd recommend this clean home with plenty of space to anyone.

Family stay

Property was nice hot tub was low on water, but that was an easy fix great location easy to get too, I would recommend you bring pot holders and kitchen utensils. The ones provided are flimsy and need replaced. Tons of towels and beds, however spare blankets and bedding would be a nice addition. Pool table had a big patch missing and no chalk for the cues. Poker table was good for family games and the property was very clean. I would recommend this unit to others.

Beautiful home, Beautiful location!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice and spacey. It could use some TLC. Master bedroom bed was not comfortable, had to add water to hot tub carried it with pots and pans no water hose to use. Railings on outside balcony were not secure, curtain rods in some rooms and towel rack in one bathroom fell off. Pool table and card table were in poor shape, windows were filthy, kitchen pots and pans were old and worn out. We did enjoy our stay. Not sure it was worth the cost.

The space itself was very comfortable and spacious, it looked even better in person than it did in photos! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with tools and towels - the only thing that wasn’t supplied was scissors. We did feel that the floor could have been cleaner, as our socks got dirty pretty quickly just walking around the house. Otherwise, our stay was great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and the closeness to Ohiopyle state park. If I was ever back in the area and needed a place to stay for a large group I would definitely book again!

Football Weekend

Used the house for a large group reunion and football weekend at WVU. Everyone was comfortable and loved the large eating area and TV room that all 12 folks could be together…..fit oit was excellent!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home sits on a nice bank and the view was lovely. Even though we had mostly rainy weather the week of our stay the pool was nice to have. I invited all of our grandchildren and was sorry that they were disappointed on so many fronts. A pool table but no chalk, a card table but no cards, used board games with no tokens and so many missing pieces that they could not be enjoyed. We also had to go purchase pots and pans. I was in the food service industry and these would never pass a health inspection. I am still waiting on the deposit I was promised to receive back. My granddaughter also lost a little ring that we were told would be mailed to us. Still waiting on that as well. A broom, mop and bucket would be nice to have on location as well for clean ups.

Almost perfect

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is spacious, very clean commodious. The pool is lovely: above ground, 4 feet deep throughout so perfect for the kids, and surrounded by a lovely deck with great furniture. Only complaint is that we all wished there was some shade in the pool area, like an umbrella. Otherwise the place is perfect for a family or large group of friends. It's very close the white water rafting, level 4 and 5, at Ohiopyle, plus the little kids amusement park at Idlewild, Fort Necessity, etc. On a scale of 1 to 100 I give our week there a 95.

WVU Graduation

House was very spacious and full of amenities with lots of room. Just as a suggestion, an additional bathroom would have been nice to accommodate all the guests. Oh. Stock firewood for guests.

Stay Away from This Place! Dirty!

Let me start with the positive....plenty of space for our large family, nice large kitchen (although lacked essentials) theater style room was a bonus and nice views. I wanted to love this place but it lacked so much for the price. When we arrived of course we wanted to enjoy the hot tub. It was not working and there was trash from previous group around it. Called and maintenance came and fixed it. It had wood stairs and no hand rail so entering and exiting was treacherous. No hooks for towels. One of our group contracted a bacterial infection (two different doctors said it was from the hot tub) which we reported to the owner but never received a phone call back to discuss. The acoustics in this home are terrible! Several of us wanted to shoot pool in the downstairs area with door closed but our friends upstairs could hear everything! My daughter went to go to bed and when she sat on edge the whole bed collapsed. After inspecting, we found the frame was twisted and the slats and mattresses were too small for frame. We ended up putting mattress on floor and that worked ok. Speaking of bed, the upstairs mattress was discovered to have large blood stains on the mattress when we striped the bed as instructed before leaving. The morning of departure the long steep driveway was covered in ice and we called and asked for someone to bring some salt however no one showed before checkout so we all skidded and slid down the driveway trying to avoid crashing our vehicles. I would not rent this place again. It was NOT worth the money!

The best house in the PA

I got say this house was perfect for big group of 11 people. It was very clean. The view from the house is breathtaking. I would definitely visit this place at summer time for their outdoor pool. The only thing was bad that it is far from NYC.

Open floor plan allowed multiple activities to occur but remain feeling included with the group. The house was clean, and a WiFi issue was rectified relatively quickly. The only con was the condition of the mattresses that was discovered upon stripping the used bed clothes as per the rental instructions.

Home was clean and had everything you could need in a home, even bathroom toiletries in case you forget something. Also a few tea bags and coffee to get you started. Staff was great when called with working the televisions. It just made my heart happy to see a huge Christmas tree still up and fully decorated in the main living room as we were having a late Christmas celebration with family. Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation home. Would like to stay again in summer to use the beautiful pool and firepit area.😊
