Nice property

Clean place. Free parking. Note that the beds are twin size. As long as that's ok with you, it's a great place to stay.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights to attend a concert at citi field. Location was pretty good! Not a bad drive over to the stadium. House was perfect. Everything was nice and clean, beds were comfy. Thank you!

Excellent place to stay and very neatly as well very decor. The only issue was the parking was very narrow that cause me to have an incident on my car

Comfortable and Clean

We stayed here while visiting family in the area. In great location, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully supplied. We have stayed in a lot of BNBs in the area over the last few years and this is by far our favorite.

My daughter had a great time at the apartment. Very clean and access was easy and Mr Chu was very helpful during entire stay. The recommendation is to two beds with a King size.

Quiet property, nice for tired travelers, needs a car

We stayed here for a friends weekend in the city. The hills in Yonkers are killer but the train station for the Hudson Line is within walking distance and the bus stops are right outside. We wish we would have had a car to save some walking but it was manageable. The apartment was clean and tidy, and good for quiet sleep after a long day seeing the sights.

spacious and convenient location

Great stay and accessible to public transportation however Renter beware of the STEEP hills that you will need to walk. We walked from both stations and we got killed by the steep roads to get to the property. The property was overall in a clean and maintained status. Maybe just need to have the shower curtains changed but it was overall a great choice.

Aesthetically-pleasing apartment with large balcony with partial Hudson River view. Perfect location for what we needed, including being able to walk to the train to NYC. Also key that there is a parking space. Planning to book again.This apartment is ideal for 2 people as the sofa is not comfortable for sleeping. Consider bringing extra towels and extra toilet paper as those provided are minimal. Note that the parking space is in back of the building. We found that out from a neighbor when we pulled up and attempted to park in the front driveway. There were 2 other cars in the back but the neighbor said to still park there, that the cars do not need to leave.

Property was almost ad advertised, with the exception of the parking space. When we arrived, we moved a rope partition in front ot the property to park and unload. The owner of the adjacent unit prompt;y came out to tell us that this was his spot that he ernted out and that we could not stay there. There were already two cars in the back, one without plates. Needed to speak with owner to clarify. After this the parking situation was OK. Property was neat and clean. Could have used more towels and a bathmat.

Yonkers retreat with a view

This was a nice little retreat for a visit back home with my children. The kids enjoyed the space and because they are 7 and 12 the twin beds were ideal. Unfortunately the couch is not comfortable at all…it leans on the hallways side of the living room. Other than that, we checked in without a problem. The parking is in the BACK and is a very narrow space with a make shift ramp…you should have a suv if you want to park there. I thought it was in front but had to move my car late at night and got a parking ticket as a result of the confusion. The owner did reach out in the morning to answer my questions about parking but it was already too late. But the best part is the back patio and the view if the Hudson. The space was clean and very comfortable for a short stay or for a small group.

This is a well appointed unit with a nicely updated appearance. There were some issues that we brought to the owners attention via email upon arrival and did not receive a response. The following items were inoperable in the kitchen; The stove hood light, the under cabinet lighting, the garbage disposal and a wall outlet. There was also a burnt bulb in the ceiling fan. The sofa is broken and slants toward the floor. Some props were placed underneath but not very effective. The bedroom shade is also broken. It took a day to navigate the TV, written instructions would be very helpful. There were no dishwasher tabs so we could not run it. Instructions on where to take the trash would also be helpful. Ice cube trays are greatly needed. Upon arrival, all windows were in the unlocked position. On a brighter note, we had wonderful sleeps in the beds. We hope this candid review can bring some improvement for future guests.

Nice Stay, Clean Place

The place was clean, location good for travel to/from city. Could use a new couch. Super uncomfortable. Spring or something sticking up in middle. Very uncomfortable to sit/sleep on. More than one roll of toilet paper would have been nice too., but otherwise, quiet place and very clean.

Very Nice Accommodations comvenient to Metro North

This property is conveniently located to the Metro North station for visiting Manhattan or Yankee Stadium. The apartment itself is clean and tidy with tasteful decoration. Sleeps two comfortably in two twin beds. Full modern kitchen and comfy living room. Others have commented on the sofa. It is not meant for sleeping and the style of sofa will make it uncomfortable as a bed. As a sofa it is fine!

Short stay with family

Overall stay was nice. Spectacular sunset from the balcony. One can see the Hudson river from the balcony. It needs to be mentioned in the online listing that one should not park in front of the property to avoid interacting with disagreeable neighbor. Number of towels provided were too few. Sofa bed was not comfortable. Large pictures of a deceased family member hanging on the bedroom wall was uncomfortable.

Great stay in Yonkers

Loved the location of this place. It was convenient and accessible to everything. The beds were really comfortable and the apartment was clean overall. The futon definitely needs to be replaced. There's no cushioning and all you feel are the springs. We made it work though. The dishwasher also needs to be cleaned as there was a strange smell coming from it. However, my friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the parking in the back worked great. Thank you!! I'd return!

Beautiful property

Property was very nice. There were many pros. A few cons we’re the lack of lighting. Very difficult to see in the kitchen. Stove light, undercounted lights and overhead light were not working. Information to enter was not provided. Other important information regarding key, parking, etc was provided in an email a day after we arrived.

Nice place but had issues to share

The apartment was very nice and very clean. It would be perfect for two people. My issue was with the third bed which is the couch in the living room. You cannot sleep comfortably on that couch. It shouldn’t be claimed as sleeping accommodations. The other issue was with communication with the owner. I reached out several times by phone and email leading up to and during my stay with no response until the day before we left. We had parking questions and couldn’t use the TV. Other than that the apartment was very nice.

Overall a good stay - better communication would help

The apartment was very clean, looked nice, and close parking was available each day. The coils in the couch were problematic. I am a small person, and the coils sank completely down so there is essentially no cushion. We resolved this by putting down throw pillows and that worked as a fix. Communication with the property manager was difficult. I reached out several times before the stay and during and only got a timely response to a question and concern when I went through VRBO. James was very nice when I did speak to him, but doesn’t seem to be readily available.
