Sea Point at Hyams Beach - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Summer Season
Sea Point has been recently renovated and is an open plan, comfortable and light-filled three level beach house. With arguably the best view in Hyams Beach, the 180-degree perspective is breathtaking from both its main wrapround and upper bedroom decks.
The house features 2 upstairs rooms with amazing views that can sleep 6 and it’s an easy 200 metre walk to stunning Chinamans Beach.
Please note:
- There is currently building work taking place below this property. It is our understanding the work is being carried Mon-Fri from approximately 7am – 3pm, but not on weekends to our knowledge. The project works, noise levels and completion date are also unknown. This noted, in an effort to minimise any inconvenience, we are offering a 10% courtesy discount on the total booking amount for any new midweek bookings to June 30, 2026. - Take care when entering or leaving the property as the driveway is steep. Lotus Street is a dual carriage street with one-way systems in place. This said, for lower style vehicles, it is easier to enter the driveway from the right as you go up and left as you exit. - As this is village, we request no parties and no smoking in the house - please. You will be evicted if these rules are broken.

Where will I be?
Sea Point is located at the northern end of the village on a high point that overlooks Chinamans Beach, the village, National Park and Jervis Bay. It is a quiet, secluded pocket while still close to everything.
Why choose Sea Point?
Sea Point has lovely, spacious living areas with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The house is laid out in an open and very comfortable configuration with simply spectacular views from all rooms, main and upstairs decks.
How is the property laid out?
Sea Point is a three-level house. There is no access to the ground garage, however, there is a large parking area at the top of the driveway with stairs leading to the second and main living floor.
The main floor has large open plan living, dining and kitchen area, bathroom and toilet for the house. There is also a large deck on both sides offering remarkable views.
A spiral staircase leads to the third level which is occupied by the two bedrooms, one of which has a queen bed, and the other a queen plus bunk bed. The main bedroom has a private deck.
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
Sea Point has a Smart TV (so bring your Netflix / Stan etc., codes), stereo and complementary Wi-Fi. In addition, phone (cell) coverage is good, so if needed, you can connect via your smart phone.*
*While reliable, please note the owner nor managing agent can guarantee Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity, so if internet access is critical during your stay, please make sure you have a Plan B.
What about outdoors?
As noted, Sea Point has wrap-around decks with spectacular views which are the perfect spot for dolphin and whale watching or simply to relax with a glass of wine. On the main deck there is a gas barbeque. At the front, a large parking area for three cars and at the back, a small native backyard (with clothesline) backing on to the National Park. Watch for friendly possums and kangaroos that often visit!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Sea Point comes with a lovely, enclosed wood fireplace, small blow heaters and numerous pedestal fans.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Sea Point supplies linen and bath towels. Please bring your own beach towels though!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is parking for three cars at the top of the driveway. There is a reversing bay at the top to allow for easier access back down the driveway.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay!
Yes! Sea Point is pet friendly. We kindly ask they stay off beds and furniture and note that the property is not fully fenced and is a bush block, so we recommend always keeping an eye on your pet.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property - Easter: 4 nights - Long Weekends: 3 nights - All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Awful. No internet. Torn towels. Property tired. Could not contact property manager. Promised Saturday contact not available. Phone led to no message being able to be left and no contact. Referred to web, hopeless and of no helpNo streaming tv as no internetNo toilets on same level as bedrooms
Was very hot when we arrived, but place cooled down quickly. Deck could use some love but offered incredible views of every sunrise over the bay. Lots of beautiful rainbow lorikeets coming to say hello every morning, and a only a short stroll down to Chinaman's beach and Hyams.
Lovely quiet location and views but beware that driveway! Would definitely suggest the steepness be disclosed more openly by management prior to booking. With no street parking available for those unable to get their cars to the top, this beautiful house becomes a bit of a nightmare. Saying that, it can be done, but there is a way to do it that is very stressful to encounter after a long drive without any prior warning.
As soon as we walked in everything took our breath away! The stunning view, the house, the fire place, the interesting stairs, every bit of it.
Add to that the simple walking distance to be at the beach.
For us this was exactly what we were looking for - this house has character, but is clean and has an extremely well equipped kitchen. The view from the verandahs is glorious and is a lovely spot to just sit and read if you feel like a break from the beach - we saw lots of dolphins playing from there. The house has a great position above beautiful Chinaman's Beach, which is part of the White Sands Walk. I wouldn't stay here with very small children though as the spiral staircase could be dangerous for small children.
I chose this property for the amazing views over Jervis bay and was not disappointed! So close to the national park walks and chinamans beach- will definitely stay again :)
Beautiful weekend away! Thank you for having us. Highly recommend this for couples and families.

Incredible view overlooking Hyams Beach
A comfortable house with an amazing wrap around deck and unparalled view overlooking Hyams Beach and Chinamans Beach. The house is in very close walking distance to both, and a short drive to Huskisson and Vincentia. A great place for a week or weekend away. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location, amazing view and charming house
The house has so much charm and the best view! Utterly breathtaking with a very sizeable balcony, perfect spot for an afternoon/evening drink! Easy quick walk to Chinamans and Hyams beaches, and pet friendly so we took out pooch with us who loved the lying in the sun which drenches the home. We visited in winter and it was a perfect getaway.

A house with a great view!
We were amazed by it’s classic style and antique appearance of this house! My kids loved the place and we enjoyed feeding the Lorikeets that usually visits the house in the morning. The coolest part is that we were able to bring with us our little buddy, our pet dog! We will definitely come back to this place.

Fantastic view and great place to relax
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it was clean, with a fantastic view. A great place to relax with no neighbours overlooking the property. The driveway is steep and we did scratch the car coming down, but that would be the only main drawback.
