BEACH HOUSE_Whangamatā (APARTMENT) - 100m from Harbour

Located along side the harbour in Whangamatā township, this ground floor one bedroom Apartment is private and relaxed.

The apartment is a self contained and while attached to the main beach house, we offer exclusive use, so any guests who book the Apartment, know the Beach House won't be booked by an unrelated group.
If you book the Beach House, the Apartment won't be booked by an unrelated group.

It consists of a separate double bedroom, bathroom with laundry and a separate toilet. The kitchen and family room are open plan and open onto a sunny deck with views to the harbour.

Quiet and safe neighbourhood for families. Walk to the harbour for a safe swim with little ones

BBQ on the deck, and under the full width

Off street parking for plenty of cars. Flat lawn suits parking a vehicle and boat along side the Apartment.

Easy walk to town or the north end of the beach.

BEDDING ARRANGEMENT
1x Queen bed in the bedroom (two person)
1x Rest+Restore Dream Maker Plush king single trundler bed (top), and
1x Rest+Restore Dream Makers Plush single trundler bed (roll out / lift out bottom). The trundler extends/raises up and both beds form an equivalent queen bed (two person)
1x Fold out couch (two person)

LINEN
All bedding and towels are provided in either the bedroom wardrobe or the bathroom cupboard. There are plenty of blankets and pillows.
Please bring your own beach towels.

WASHING MACHINE
There is a front loader washing machine in the Apartment bathroom and a clothes line to the west. Will&Able laundry powder or liquid is provided in the Apartment bathroom on the ground floor.

PARKING
Parking is on the driveway and on the lawn to the east (street side) for the Beach House, and for the Apartment, is the full depth to the north of the unit, which can be used for your vehicles or boat parking.
Note: The garage is not included with this booking currently.

ACCESS
The Beach House has a digital lock on the main entry door.

SECURITY CAMERA
To the left of the garage door is a smart security camera door bell to assist guests with any access issues and for security purposes. Within the garage is a security camera to monitor this excluded area.

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Ultra Fast Fibre is provided.

SMART TELEVISION
A 40” Smart television in the Apartment is connected to the internet via the Wi Fi. You’re welcome to log in to your own Netflix and other apps using the television remotes.

WASHING MACHINE
There is a front loader washing machine in the Apartment bathroom and a clothes line to the west. Will&Able laundry powder or liquid is provided in the Apartment bathroom on the ground floor.

BBQ & COOKING
The Apartment has kitchenette including a ZIP frypan, sandwich press, on bench induction cook top and as well as other cooking utensils.
There is no BBQ with the Apartment.

CLEANING
There are plenty of cleaners under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom cupboards, which includes additional linen, towels, blue bags, an iron, clothes baskets, etc. Toilet rolls are located in the vanities of each bathroom. We use Willandable.co.nz cleaners where possible.
There is a central vacuum system with connection by the fridge and in the hallways. Just plug in the hose and the switch is on the handle to turn it on.

Additional cleaning and a turn down service is available on request.

Property is modern and clean with well equipped kitchen. The Double bed was very comfortable and there is extra bedding and towels available. The property manager was very helpful and always available if required.

Good location: close to parks and beaches. A clean apartment: bed sheets were clean. Enough linens and towels were provided. They were clean, too. Recommend.

Small but well equipped and tidy

Nice location short walk to the Estuary and quiet street.We could also take our wee dog.Lucky for us the house upstairs was empty so no banging through the ceiling but unfortunately our stay was not quiet
.the house close behind was building and huge trucks were coming an going non stop and using the beach house land for all the vehicles (though plenty of room for our car) nobody’s fault the neighbours were lovelyJust doing major renovations before selling their property.

Pleasant, tidy, peaceful.

Bookabach seemed to force me to join up. When I tried to get the owner’s messages another way they said I didn’t have permission. So we were stuck outside till the neighbours came to our rescue - contacted owner and got us in. Owner was concerned to keep us warm on an exceptionally cold night. So aside from Bookabach an good experience.

Great accomodation near beach

A great property and walking distance to everything. Beach at the end of the road; shops and cafes a couple of blocks away. Compact with 2 adults and 3 teenagers but it works really well.

Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay. Staying during winter poses the risk of poor weather, which meant we stayed indoors more than we usually would for a trip away. This would be fine usually, but please be mindful that this accomodation is located underneath the main home and so if the host is staying there at the same time, it is loud above. Unfortunately, this tainted our stay a little as it was more difficult to relax. The accomodation is located very close to town, within walking distance to the beach and water. This was excellent. It is a well equipped home and the bed was very comfortable and shower pressure was ideal. The host was very friendly, helpful and communication was easy.

Fantastic apartment, clean and had everything we needed. Great to have a full cooker and full size fridge. Shower excellent and very spacious. Bed very comfortable. Located in a great area and walking distance to beach and town. Will be back to stay again.

Recommended Ground Floor Apartment

A spacious apartment with everything you need, plenty of towels and well equipped kitchen. Bed and couch are comfortable. This apartment is well positioned for water, town restaurants etc and Whangamata and surrounding areas are well worth a visit. We will come again

Amazing spot

Brad and his family could not have been more helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The apartment was even better than we had hoped for. Everything was sparkling clean. We were close to the water and the shops. We can't wait to come back to stay.

Funds from paying guests are put back into the property to help fulfill this goal.

This beach house was built by my parents, Simon and Judy. We have holidayed in Whangamata for 45+ yrs and we want other families to enjoy this amazing holiday location as we do.
