Cosy coastal cottage

Centrally located, minutes from the Kiama Harbour, within walking distance to Bombo (5 min) and Surf beach (12min), Black beach and the rockpool . Step outside the front door with a view to the lighthouse, and enjoy the cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping.

This historic, late 19th century quarryman’s cottage is fully renovated, with all work sympathetic to and in keeping with its history. The cottage is styled in a relaxed coastal style with some vintage charm, and inspiration from our travels.

‘Allwood Harbour Cottage’ is perfect for couples and friends or a family. Well-behaved pets are welcome (at no extra fee) with snacks included.

No extra cleaning fee.

Note: There are security cameras located on the outside of the house. These will be switched off before check-in and during a guest's stay.

Overall we had a pleasant stay.The beds were very comfortable, with clean linen. The kitchen was well stocked & clean.It would be more comforting perhaps to have safety bar in the shower (I happened to be recuperating from a hip surgery but managed ok).The area we found most lacking was the loungeroom; it had the odour of old musty furniture & dogs (our dog however was very much at home ).

Seaside Comfort

Thank you Dora for an amazing stay. The amenities, decor and gorgeous garden make the cottage such a cozy and welcoming place to stay. Beds are very comfortable and the location is fantastic.

I almost hate writing this review because more people will book and I am not going to get a reservation again. Because it will be too popular!The attention to detail is amazing- from the gourmet kitchen to the treats for pets. Best bed ever. Every little thing is anticipated - and the location with quick walk to the beach and views from the deck. Everything was amazing- clean, tidy and first class. Highly recommend but not too loudly because I want to book again without too much competition. I want to come back soon- and bring family!

A great mini break in Kiama

Dora was a great host and the house was lovely. Very central and close to the main strip of Kiama. The house was beautifully presented and very cosy.

Excellent accommodation and location

Dora was an amazing host and extremely responsive. The accommodation itself was beautiful and well equipped for both people and furry friends. Everything was well thought out and it is located close to a lot of cafes and the beach. We had a lovely time.

Beautifully restored heritage home complete with all modern comforts. Excellent communication by host who very thoughtfully provided pantry essentials and treats for humans and dog! ( a first ever for Daisy) Exceptionally well equipped kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Quiet location, relaxing and reminiscent of childhood stays in grandparents heritage home. Highly recommend. A wonderful harbourside cottage

Immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished and with many touches to make both people and pets feel at home. This cottage is much larger than it appears and has everything you need for a holiday - would thoroughly recommend it. And the hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

Allwood Harbour Cottage

This is such a beautiful little restored cottage with just the right amount of space for our family. The host is wonderful to deal with and is very thoughtful with all the inclusions and the welcome gift for us and our dogs was such a nice little touch.

I love going to Kiama and staying at Allwood Cottage. It is like a home away from home for me. The house is very comfortable and well appointed and so close to the shops / cafes in Kiama. Our check in process was easy and convenient. Highly recommended :)

Quaint cottage and very clean.

Very quaint cottage with all the comforts of home and more. Loved so much about this place especially the attention to detail and as my brother said the photos on the listing do not do the cottage justice.

Beautiful House in a great location

The house is beautiful and spotless. Few minutes walk to main street in Kiama. Dora was fantastic to deal with and very accommodating.

Coming back again

Our second year in Dora’s beautiful home in the heart of Kiama. Perfect days spent swimming in the continental pool, walking the dogs in the beach and eating The Pines gelato each afternoon. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place for a break

We absolutely loved our time at Allwood Harbour Cottage- really well equipped, great location that’s an easy walk to beaches and the shops in town, and our dog LOVED the garden. Excellent communication with Dora was the icing on the cake. A magical break in every way- we’ll be back!

Superb

The cottage had charm plus ambience, easy walking to, beach, bay, cafes, restaurants and handy to the rail. Cottage a tastefully renovated quarryman's home in a historic precinct. Quiet and private just out of the busy town area. Not only tastefully appointed but the host provided an extensive range of "extras" which was gratefully appreciated.

Beautiful cottage close to village

Allwood Cottage is lovely and decorated so thoughtfully with games for the family, surprises for our pooch and we enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom with views of the water. Allwood Cottage is located in walking distance from the village with an array of restaurants, cafes and beaches at our doorstep. Superb location! Thank you to Dora and Allwood Cottage for making our Easter Holiday break so special.
