Located 5 minutes from Masterton CBD on a working farm. This newly renovated one bedroom luxury guest house has all the mod cons. Full kitchen and laundry, tiled bathroom with under floor heating, super king bed, heat pump, outdoor area complete with petanque court and BBQ with a huge outdoor deck for relaxing.
Walking and cycle tracks are on the door step and bikes are available on request.

Nice place for a getaway

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. Great location with lots of space and still only a short drive to town. Warm and welcoming accommodation with a fantastic fireplace for the cooler nights. Jo was easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcome.

Lovely stay

This is a very tidy and modern cottage in a quiet and peaceful location. Communication from the host was excellent and we had a wonderful stay. The rain shower is fantastic.

Lovely hideaway

A wonderful spot for a weekend getaway - comfortable, warm and cosy, with an excellent modern fit out and great kitchen for cooking. We loved getting the fire going in the evening as we settled in with a wine!

Best place we've stayed

As this is a brand new property it was devine to stay in. The house has been built with lots of great features and it seems a lot of thought has been put into making the house very comfortable. The house is only a few minutes drive from Masterton town however feels like you're in the country and is very quiet. Really loved our stay

Quality homestay

Quality homestay in peaceful surroundings. Pristine presentation and styling. Host had the house warm and cosy for our arrival and set the fire up. Loved it and we'll be back in the summer!

Great Stay

Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Location is great (although if you don’t have a car it’d be problematic), just a short ride into town. We loved being greeted by resident sheep every morning. WiFi was sporadic but good enough to get us through. We will be back!

The Best Cottage

The cottage has all the amenities you need for a perfect getaway. It exceeded expectations. It is in a country farm setting with all the restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The nicest, cleanest, most comfortable VRBO we have stayed in and the property manager was great!

Beautiful modern rural getaway

Really great location just five minutes drive from Masterton, very peaceful, quiet and delightful setting on a working farm (greet the sheep as you drive down the driveway). It's beautifully set up and equipped, everything you could need. Thanks Jo :)

Beautifully designed cottage with all mod cons

Absolutely loved staying at this beautifully appointed cottage with all the mod cons. Was such ease to just pack our bag, toiletries and any food required, as the cottage is fully equipped. Situated close to town, yet far enough to feel such calm & relaxation. Grateful for such a lovely weekend away & to the beautiful host Jo for making it extra special with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate joining the 50's club. Recommended accommodation in Masterton.

Loved our stay

Just one observation, wondered why there was no door to close off the bedroom from the kitchen / living room. Partner wanted to go to bed early, but no way to stop light (and noise from the TV) getting to the bedroom

Luxury in the Wairarapa

The property is listed as a "Luxury Getaway" and it sure is. The property is on the western side of Masterton, just on the outskirts, on a working farm. Most people would be looking for accommodation in Martinborough/Greytown area, but this one bedroom stand alone Guest house could be compared to a 4-5 star apartment any where else in NZ. It has all of the modern appliances but with the quiet get away from it all luxury. Most enjoyable. One of those places that you must get back to, even for a longer period.

A Serene and Lux Romantic getaway.

Can highly recommend this Lux getaway. Its so serene and private. Our host Jo was so Fab to deal with, fast reply's and lovely to deal with. Every thing you need is there with all the trimmings and everything is top quality and beautifully styled. We always eat out for Dinner on trips away, but this place was so fantastic we chose to use the fantastic kitchen and cook on the Weber instead. Super comfy Bed, couch and outdoor furniture. Loved having the Nespresso too. Did lots of cycling around here and kept the car parked up all weekend and cycled to lunch spots. Enjoyed our wine and cheeseboard while playing Pétanque soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful hilly views. Was just what we needed a peaceful escape from the city. Would love to come back in winter and fire up the log burner. Thanks Again.
