2 Bedroom, 2 And A Half Bath Townhouse One Block From The River And Downtown!

2 bedroom, 21/2 bath Townhouse one minute walk to the Cape Fear River, comfortably appointed with two queen beds, fully appointed kitchen with stove, oven and a microwave, dining table, breakfast nook, coffee maker, food pantry, WIFI, cable TV's in bedrooms and den with comfy couches and lounging area for relaxing. Our location is perfect for a five minute walk to downtown, and far enough away to be quiet in the evenings, avoiding bar noise. You're a short walking distance to a free public boat launch, a craft brewery, just across the street from the Cape Fear Riverwalk, with dozens of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, shops and music venues at your disposal. Our location is easily accessed from I-40, and 74, and we have private parking for two cars in a secure area off the street. Our property has been used by TV and motion picture industry professionals, as well as those moving to Wilmington needing a good place to stay while securing their permanent residence. As owners, we live just two blocks away, and are available to help with recommendations, assist with directions or help with property concerns. We also have available one bicycle (additional fee), as well as chairs and towels for when you want to chill at the beach, which is just 15 minutes away. We are dog friendly, some additional cleaning fees will apply.

About David Bolton

My wife and I love the Wilmington area, and have been long time residents of North Carolina. We also love to travel ourselves, and have been in the home sharing business for several years. We have stayed around the US and overseas in vacation rental properties, and love the idea of the personalized space that resides in communities. We have four children and three dogs, love the beach and the outdoors, and enjoy cooking, playing music and sharing time with family and friends. We want your stay to be a great one, and for that reason, we are a local owner just a few blocks away from the townhouse.

The Townhouse is ideally located by the river and the downtown area in the Historic District, and is just a great location for enjoying Wilmington. The property is close to many fantastic restaurants, bars and music venues, all within walking distance, which makes this location ideal. It's close enough to walk, yet far enough away for peace and quiet.

What makes this townhome unique

Just across the street, there is a public boat launch or a nice place to fish right off the bank. And really close by are two little bars to get a cold drink, sit outside and enjoy the river air. You can walk to a craft brewery or down to the river walk that goes right along the Cape Fear River all the way from one end of downtown to the other.

This Townhome is ideally located for many activities, as well as quick access to much that Wilmington has to offer. The Cape Fear Stage is just minutes away, as is Greenfield Ampitheater; both host national music acts throughout the year. The downtown area is just a 5 minute walk - the property is one block from the Cape Fear River, which has a beautiful river walk adjoining many fine restaurants, bars and water tours. If you boat, the public boat launch is just across the street. The Waterline Brewery is a five minute walk and has terrific craft beer and live music on the weekend. There are horse carriage tours, local theater shows, and a variety of services for deep sea fishing, water tours, and boat rentals available. Please enjoy the area and ask any questions you may have about the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area.

Great location in downtown Wilmington. Nice neighborhood surrounded by beautiful, historic Wilmington homes and walkable to downtown restaurants, shopping, and the riverwalk. We'll be back for sure.

Very comfortable and clean. We only prepared breakfasts there - enjoyed the River Walk restaurants for lunch and dinner. Enjoyed walking the historic district and seeing the lovely homes.

Great home base for a visit to Wilmington

We recently visited Wilmington for the second time -- and for the second time, we stayed in this property (under a new owner). As before, we had an excellent experience. This is a great place to stay for a visit to Wilmington. It is on the edge of the downtown historic district and is an easy walk to both the river and downtown attractions.

The house is nicely furnished and very clean. There are two bedrooms upstairs (each with an en-suite bathroom). There is a half bath on the first floor. The bedroom that we stayed in included a generous walk-in closet.

The kitchen is not large, but it is updated and very functional. We had everything that we needed.

There is parking for two cars behind the house (though due to a significant number of birds who chose to nest in the backyard tree, we moved our car to the street following a "bird bombing" :) that required a run through a car wash). On street parking is also safe and easy to come by.

I can't think of any negatives to this property. It is clean, comfortable and well situated. The owners were very pleasant to work with. Communication was prompt and friendly -- and we really appreciated the ability to bring our two small dogs with us.

A very clean, well appointed, and situated property in historic Wilmington.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. A dedicated parking space allows you to park your car and walk the historic district of downtown Wilmington . There are lots of restaurants and shops to visit and the beautiful Victorian architecture is not to be missed . The house is clean, spacious, and well appointed. We lacked for nothing !

Perfect location and shared space for couples!

Two couples shared this house for an extended weekend in Wilmington and we all loved it! Location was perfect, we walked downtown for meals several times, enjoyed the local shopping and water front boardwalk. We were in town for IM NC 70.3 and loved that the house was on the run course; it worked out perfectly for spectating and friends/family that came into town for the day.

Clean house, clean bedrooms: home has been remodeled nicely. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking, bedrooms each have private baths and having a washer/dryer was great. We enjoyed the front porch swing in the evening and the living room when it was a little too hot to be outside. We would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable home away from home.

We stayed four nights and enjoyed it. The townhouse is nicely decorated and a good size for two to four people. There are two master bedrooms with full baths upstairs and a half bath down. Very quiet. Nice front porch with swing. Good location.

The townhouse is close to everything you need-shopping, bars great restaurants, movie theaters, Cape Fear Music Stage, UNC-Wilmington music and lecture series, Cape Fear Community College one mile away. You have a washer and dryer in the townhouse, extra chairs and towels for the beach, and a great place to walk dogs if they are on a leash. Bikes are available for an additional charge. There are many fresh fish markets, grocery stores and butchers if you want to cook a great meal at home. The convenience of our location is unbeatable for getting around easily in the Wilmington area, with the advantage of walking to the downtown area where there are fantastic restaurants and bars which feature a multitude of food choices: fish and oyster house, Asian, Thai food, (Indochian is great), mexican, home style, breakfast joints, bar food, Americana, Fondue Bar, pretty much anything you like will be available within a few blocks walk! Getting to Wrightsville Beach takes about 15 - 20 minutes, as does Carolina and Kure Beaches, which are both easily accessed from 3rd St., just two blocks from the Townhouse.
