Ohakune surrounds

Good, clean property,well-stocked with kitchen equipment. Would suit people wanting to spend time skiing. We weren't in that category and found, after doing a few hikes and checking out Ohakune township, that we were fairly limited for things to do. Found it rather an expensive weekend for this reason. Friendly owners on the phone.

Kate there’s loads of things to do in Ohakune, it’s the great outdoors. You had horse riding right on your door step, there’s loads of mountain bike tracks and places to ride. Lots of cool restaurants, nice hot pool in the powder keg. Sky waka is awesome not to mention high tea at the chateau. Maybe next time 😄

Perfectly functional Ski Lodge

Used this accommodation for a long weekend of skiing. Had everything we needed, excellent kitchen facilities and overall enjoyed our stay. Had some initial confusion re. check-in and obtaining the entry code but otherwise would recommend

Great place to stay

Rosewood Hideaway was a fantastic base for our trip. Quiet neighborhood, close to the mountain for the walking tracks (all of them are great).
