Great cottage for the family and fur baby. So close to a nice quiet beach, chill area for dogs, lots of fans to keep cool on hot days and just a great space.

Is a beautiful spot in a friendly community. Natural beauty to the lake and surroundings. Host was very complete in guidance and all worked out as was supposed to (check in, access etc). Home is very clean and spacious and even stocked with some treats and emergency food items if you arrived late or in the dark and needed a meal. All in all very accomodating and enjoyable stay.

Loved every minute of our stay. Located in beautiful and quiet area, right by the lake. House had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened in porch, spent our mornings and evenings relaxing outside. The kids had fun going for bike rides and playing at the beach. Would love to stay here again!

We loved our stayThe home was larger than it appears on the photographs and was pristine. And it had everything you might need
 kitchen perfectly stocked, screened porch was lovely, beds were very comfortable. It even had chairs to take to the beach. Perfect place to enjoy Winnipeg beach, the piers and Gimli. Lovely quiet neighbourhood with easy walking distance to many beaches ..

A great place to stay!

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute! We loved the screened in porch which was perfect for coffee in the morning and visits at night. Would easily stay again without question.

Quiet and very family friendly

This was the most enjoyable and relaxing week we have had with our two young kids in a long time. The cabin had everything we needed and was within walking distance to the beach which we really enjoyed. We are already talking about returning next summer!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Melanie’s Cabin, she is a very good host. The cabin is in a nice quiet area close to the lake. We spent a lot of time in the spacious sun room and screened in porch.

Vacation Haven

If you want rest, relaxation, peace and quiet, this is the place. Surrounded by trees, yet only a short walk to the beach. The cabin is well insulated, with everything one needs for comfort and convenience. This was our second time staying at Velletta Carmel, and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Great vacation

Our stay was fabulous the place was very spacious and clean. The screened gazebo was well used by us. Any questions or concerns were addressed right away. Melanie thought of everything, all you needed to bring were your clothes and food. I would certainly come back next summer.

Beautiful Cabin

Our stay at the cabin was excellent. It is beautiful with a lot of space. Big yard for our pets to play around. Walking distance to the beach. We had great fun and a relaxing short vacation here. Clean, with all the conveniences that made camping really fun. Melanie is a super host; she was easily reachable and answered all our questions promptly.

VRBO Vacay

The property was fantastic, had all the amenities as advertised. We did have a few questions for the property manager and the people answered within minutes. The location is in close proximity to Winnipeg Beach and Gimili. We really enjoyed the Sunroom and screened Gazebo. As we were there at the hottest part of the summer, we did miss having air conditioning. We would to this location.

Amazing!

The kitchen was well stocked, quality knives and cookware. Loved the layout, so many places to be comfortable. Great attention to the details- fan, shampoo, some kitchen supplies (thank you), beach towels. Very comfortable beds, lovely linens. Accurate description, nearest beach a 5 minute walk and my friend who has walking issues could walk to the beach. Peaceful and serene getaway.

Fantastic!

Melanie was very responsive and added a couple of nice welcoming touches. Very clean space with everything you need. Lots of seating options inside and out. It was lovely to sit in the screened gazebo and listen and watch the birds, squirrels and bunnies. A quick walk to a small beach. Thank you!
