Breezy Cottage by Noosa River Sleeps 8

Hi, I’m Colleen and my husband is Dale, we live in Elwood, Victoria. I’m a florist and my husband is in real estate. We have 3 dogs, 2 mini schnauzers and a pug! We love the beach and we love nature. We’ve been holidaying in Noosa for over 20 years. I use to be a Noosa local before moving to Melbourne. Dale was born and bred in Melbourne and loves his AFL! We love travelling and love learning new cultures, we particularly love Japan. We’ve done our fair share of overseas travel and we look forward to seeing more of Australia.

We fell in love with this place as soon as we walked in to inspect it. The initial feeling was a little bit of awe because we didn't expect the space it actually has inside and you would never know how gorgeous it is inside from the outside. I loved the outside with the lush tropical garden and how the leafy outlook adds extra privacy. We also love the neighborhood, it's very quiet. My husband especially loves the pool area with the frangipani trees and the big mango tree. It's a special place to us. We have been looking for a long time for the perfect place and we believe we found our hidden gem.

The location of our house is perfect, to us. It's about a 12 minute drive to Noosa National Park and about a 15 minute drive to Sunshine Beach. The local town is a short walk to the end of our street and through a gorgeous park around 5-10 minutes walk depending on your pace. The town has pretty much everything, we especially love the fruit & vege shop which has specialty products as well as the best produce. Our house is a few minutes walk to the beautiful Noosa River,, just around the corner, there's a small park where you can sit by the river for some peace and quiet. We love that we can come back to the tranquility of our house after being down the beach or after being out and about for the day. Christmas time is very busy around Noosa, most school holidays actually, so we love to hang around our house and swim in our pool and just relax, reading, eating and sleeping. There are many great cafes and restaurants 5 minutes from our house. We love eating out at Tewantin Marina, Tewantin RSL, Noosaville and Sunshine Beach. There are many chill out spaces in our home, I particularly love the pod chair upon entry, this area is gorgeous in the morning so is , sitting out on the deck for a cuppa is lovely and peaceful.
