Ski Trip Base Camp

My family and I loved this cozy cabin. It was clean and charming and had everything we needed. The fireplace in the living room was particularly welcome to keep us all warm on a winter evening after skiing all day. Would def stay here again.

Great spot

Stayed with a few friends for ice fishing. It was a very nice lake and the cabin has everything we needed. After a long cold day on the ice sitting by the fireplace and playing cards on the giant island countertop was a great way to finish the day

Beds pushed up against wall ,hard to get in and out in the middle of the night. Claw foot tube converted to shower , hard to get in and out of for us older folks. No bath rags or bath soap. Great location with walking trail near by.

Great find! Love it- hoping to be back.

Couple things that we noticed and didn’t expect. There wasn’t a can opener, the toilet paper was cheap! We didn’t bother anyone, but we could figure out how to get a local news station, the weather was questionable (windy) and having local news, when the lights were flickering would of been nice. Those are small things, it was a great place and we loved it! Like I said, I’m hoping to bring my family back!

Cozy, but heed considerations!

Hello! We loved this little cabin, and it had just about everything we needed! The furniture is comfortable, the views are great. It fit the bill for what we needed for our getaway. We are a group of writers needing freedom for our distractions. We got a lot of writing done! Our only criticisms are small, but we want to make sure everyone knows before they travel. There aren't a ton of outlets, so come prepared with power strips/extension cords (the cabin does stock a couple ext. cords, though!). The stairs to the loft (where 3 of the beds are) are more like a ladder. No problem for some of us, but several of our party were too nervous to try. And lastly, the kitchen is fully stocked, but there were a few little (little!) things missing, so if you NEED something, best to just bring it with you to be safe. There weren't any ziplocs or rags to wipe down counters that we could find (had to use paper towel), and we nearly ran out of toilet paper with a party of 7. Luckily, we're all over-preparers, so it didn't affect our stay. Pack extra amenities, and you're sure to have a great time! The host was very attentive and checked to make sure we weren't snowed in. Proximity to Petoskey, with lots of shops and things going on, and right on the lake with seating to enjoy the view. Would definitely go back to this one. It checked all of our boxes. Thank you!!!

Beautiful Property

My family had a great 3 night getaway here. Cabin was peaceful and the fall colors were gorgeous in the area. We will definitely rent this property again!

Heaven on Earth

My sisters and I stayed for a sisters getaway and had the best time, the cabin was the perfect size for four of us and was cozy and nice. We had no complaints and the views were beautiful day and night, I would definitely stay again!

As described if not better

We were doing some of the lighthouse tour for our 35 Anniversary. The location was great to get to several other cities or towns within an hour. The inside was clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable and well equipped, although most of our time was spent outside with the lake being right there with beautiful views especially of the sunrise. Would stay again and recommend it. Thanks for sharing you cabin with us.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time at the cozy cabin ! Very good atmosphere. Kitchen and living is set up nice, with a big island perfect for all the kids to eat at! The upstairs loft was perfect for sleeping! We explored a little and found a nature preserve within walking distance that our kids loved ! Spent a day in petosky shopping and walking around && then had fun playing games, watching movies, having a campfire && cooking at the cottage with family! Love the gas fireplace && being able to do laundry.

Perfect Winter Getaway

Our family had an amazing weekend getaway at this cozy cabin! We enjoyed skating on the lake and we even had a campfire. The all day snowfall was almost magical. The gas fireplace added some warmth while watching football and playing board games. The two bedrooms on the main floor and the upstairs loft provided plenty of room for sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked to accommodate our home-cooked meals. Lisa (the owner) was very responsive and a joy to work with. We will be back!

Absolutely wonderful

My family had a great time spending Christmas up at this wonderful rental. The cabin has everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful view of the lake with a great deck and plenty of room for my family. Definitely recommend staying at this cabin

Fantastic!

Peaceful Lake Cottage

This cabin was perfect for our fall getaway. The lake view from the huge deck melted stress away. The owner was great to work with and very responsive when we had a small issue with the lock. We will definitely stay here again!

Lake Cabin perfect for a family gathering & relaxation right on the water!

My family and I planned a 70th birthday getaway to unwind & relax. This cabin was perfect & met our needs. Clean & great little amenities. Fire pit, fireside table, tiki torches, mini fridge & bar in seasonal room that looks out at the water. The loft is great once you're up there, but a bit tricky to maneuver. Not for older folks or toddlers. Worked fine for 5 & 9 year old. The kitchen was equipped with all needs. We really didn't have any issues for our 4 night stay. I would go again for sure! Thank you.
