LOCATION
One bedroom apartment with panoramic views across Christchurch. Bottom floor of owners house. Perfect for small families. Watch the sun set behind the Southern Alps from your apartment or spa. Apartment sits nestled in the large established gardens in Mt Pleasant so it feels like an escape away from busy suburban life, yet it is only 15 minutes to the CBD. The guest suite is on the bottom storey of the hosts home and consists of a bedroom with ensuite and WIR and a lounge with kitchenette.

CHILD FACILITIES
Child and infant friendly with most baby gear available for use including baby monitor, toys and a ball pit that is very popular with toddlers!

BATHROOM
The ensuite has a large corner bath with a shower over and excellent water pressure. A washing machine is provided in the bathroom. If you don’t want to do your own washing; this can be organised to be done at a local laundrette or dry cleaning for you at a charge.

KITCHEN
The apartment has a kitchenette with mini fridge, mini oven, air fryer, microwave, plug in hob, toaster and kettle and all dinnerware.

BREAKFAST
A range of breakfast supplies available; cereals, bread and spreads, pancake mix, fresh eggs, beans, fruit.

THE GROUNDS
The gardens are equipped with plenty of toys for the young and young at heart: mud kitchen, jungle gym, berry patch, lawn area with balance bikes and lawn games (eg giant jenga), rock piles, swings, slides, sandpit, hammock chair and good old fashioned climbing trees.

Luxury Linen and towels provided. Heat pump/air conditioning units in both lounge and bedroom-you won’t get too hot or cold here!
Access is tricky-two flights of stairs.

IMPORTANT: this property is on the hill and is on the lower storey of our home, there are two sets of stairs from the garage to the flat and another set of stairs from the street to the garage if you are parking on street, thus it is unfortunately unsuitable for disabled guests. The views are worth the steps! We have friendly pets on the property so is not suitable for anyone with allergies or a phobia or cats/dogs/chickens. Our pets are a friendly Labrador and a fluffy orange cat. You are welcome to walk the Labrador he is well behaved. There is a playground and tennis court nearby-rackets and tennis balls can be provided for your use. We can also provide use of a stand up paddle board and bikes by negotiation or can assist with rental. IMPORTANT NOTE: While it is likely we will be away during your stay, the drawers in the bedroom of the unit will have our possessions in them and are not for guest use.
