Welcome to "Connected Hearts Home"!!
Pender Island is the most southern of the Gulf Islands, conveniently accessible from both Vancouver and Victoria via ferry.
This is a clean, spacious family home nestled in a private setting, surrounded by beautiful nature. You and your guests will have the entire upstairs of the house all to yourselves, with room for 8 people to sleep!
We are in walking distance to numerous trails and majestic views.
This home feels like summer camp in the most beautiful place in the world.
You'll have the cottage experience, while staying in a beautiful home.

Large wooden dining room table to share dinners and visits with friends and family.
Beautifully renovated bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Brand new beds, pillows, bedding!
Two davenport couch beds that fold down into double beds.
We have plenty of board games and books.
We have a generator and other heat sources available in case of inclement weather.
Air conditioning!
In-suite laundry!
Large deck off of the kitchen with outdoor seating.
Backyard fire pit.
Very fast and reliable wifi and cell service (75 mbps download speed and 10 mbps upload speed)
Fully -fenced and gated yard.

Please Note: There is a private basement suite on the property as well as a studio/cottage.
There are no shared indoor spaces and all suites have separate entrances.

Excellent spot!

Spacious and cheerful spot to stay on beautiful Pender Island! Easy walk to Magic Lake and ocean access views. Bedrooms are cozy and kitchen is very well equipped! Lesley and Sarah are awesome hosts and full of tips on how to get the most out of staying here!

Family reunion

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our 4 grown up children. The hosts generously left breakfast food including eggs, bread, coffeee and cream in the fridge waiting for us. This was perfect as we didn’t get in until about 10pm so had no time to get groceries. There was a bbq and fire pit for our use as well as lots of games. The location is lovely as long as you have a vehicle as it’s too far to walk to most amenities. The hosts were welcoming and responded quickly to all communication. The place isn’t fancy, but it was clean, welcoming, the beds are very nice and comfortable, and it suited our needs perfectly!

Excellent stay

This is a very clean and cozy spot in a very special part of the world. The unit is spacious with lots of amenities. Sarah and Lesley are fantastic hosts and are very quick in responding to any questions.

We had a fantastic time in this lovely house.

The house is right by Magic lake. We went boating together around the lotus flowers. The host provided everything for all of us 11 people need for the 4 days and 3 nights. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were very well equiped with lots of extra food, towels, soap and so on. The propane fire pit and the canoes are very nice additions. Thanks for being a great host to make our time enjoyable!

The sound of silence

Lesley and Sarah have a lovely family house on lovely North Pender Island. I was taken by how quiet their neighborhood was and enjoyed the peace..lots to see and do around their place and the beauty of the island is amazing. Would love to see them again!! Thanks so a great stay. JohnB

A warm welcome on Pender

We had a great time at this property. The hosts were very hospitable, helpful and welcoming. They had breakfast items there for us which was very generous and even accommodated us with gluten free begals anf bread. The fire pit in the back was a hit and the tree house and badminton in the front yard was a favorite for the kids. Being such a short distance from magic lake meant we spent a lot of time in the water. Thaks Sarah and Lesley for a great Holliday on Pender.

Great place with wonderful hosts

I stayed here with my two teens, my friend and her children and we had lots of room. The inside is redone and has all kinds of nice touches. There were even eggs, fruit, and breakfast items provided which was very much appreciated. We had an issue working the oven and the hosts explained it immediately. Would stay here again for sure!

Comfy and clean

Sarah and Lesley were lovely hosts that were keen to meet all our needs. Their place was super clean, comfy and quiet and a perfect stay for our family of four. We would highly recommend this home away from home, and look forward to staying here again in the future!!

Sarah and Lesley welcomed us with a basket of fruit and many meal prep items! The place was so cute and so close to Magic Lake. We had a fire in their backyard; a very special birthday weekend for my partner who thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10 would come back - thanks, Sarah and Lesley!

Great for our family reunion

While only 4 adults and 2 kids stayed in the house, there was plenty of space and seats to accommodate another 6 adults on the island for dinners. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and we greatly appreciated the fresh eggs every morning. We will stay again during our next visit to the island!

Christmas 2021

The property is lovely, the host left fruit, eggs and bread for us and the coffee pot worked well in the mornings! The beds were comfy and the Christmas tree was such a nice touch. Thank you, Sarah, we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing winter getaway

We had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend. Hosts have included many thoughtful and useful touches in the home. From continental breakfast items to get us started, to discs that we used at the disc golf course only a short walk away, to puzzles and games. We had a baby with us and loved that the closet in the king room was big enough to put the pack and play (provided by hosts) and could be separated from rest of room by blackout curtain. Kitchen was well stocked for 6 people. Hosts also set us up with everything we needed for backyard fire, and gave us tips for a great little hike we did with a bluff ocean view. We were there over new years and the Christmas tree added a really nice touch. We hope to come back, perhaps when lake isn't frozen and we could bring our paddle boards. Thank you!!

A great weekend away

It was very cute, clean and well set up. Loved that there was a continental breakfast included and a fully stocked bathroom. It is very thoughtful. Was easy to communicate and set things up with. We really enjoyed our stay. :)

Tidy and convenient location to everywhere

Thank you Sarah for providing nice, clean and tidy home for my family to stay in. Also Sarah shared lots of secret location for us to have fun that only known to local. Pender Island is not big, the house is at convenient location in centre so we can explore both north and south Island with relatively short drive. Kids enjoyed the stay and will definitely comes back in future. Brun the dog is big but very friendly. 5 stars experience.

Connected Hearts Touched My Heart

Pender Island is a magical place and staying at Lesley & Sarah's home was a comfortable gift for my weekend get-away... If you get a lucky treat sometimes Sarah sings by the campfire which we got to listen to and really enjoyed. The upper unit is spacious with 3 full bedrooms and then 2 additional couch beds in the living room. The bathroom is cute and decorated in a beach theme. The backyard has a private deck and table and the wifi reaches there so you can get wifi outside. Their dog Bron is very well trained and works well with other pets. The lake is across the street and they beaches literally in every direction. I will be back. It's hard to leave!
