Lake Getaway

The house was perfect for a weekend at the lake with my friend and her family. We had comfortable beds, plenty of seating, a spacious kitchen, two fridges, incredible views of the water, and a perfect little private dock for kayaking and swimming. The lake cove was quiet and lovely. The host was attentive and kind and offered to let us stay as late as we wanted, which gave us time to swim and kayak again in the morning. We loved this house and hope to stay again in the future.

Great place!

Perfect place for our family. Great swim up dock and outdoor seating. Place was super clean and had all the things you would need for a family dinner. Loved it and will definitely come again!

Great property

This is an amazing house. Perfect short getaway trip during COVID-19. We could swim, fish, relax, and enjoy ourselves without stressing about other people. It was paradise.

Practically perfect in every way (in my Mary Poppins voice)

Cannot say enough about this property! It is absolutely beautiful, clean and well managed. It is in a cove that is very private and has clean water for swimming. The dock kept our kids occupied for days. Dan was very responsive and a guy you would like to invite over for dinner! The house was stocked with every amenity you may need. We will definitely be back!!!

Last Minute Booking for a Get-A-Way Before School Started!

The house had more than enough room for 4 adults and 3 children. It had enough sleeping arrangements for a couple more of my grandchildren. The kitchen was large enough for several adults to be able to cook together. Lots of counter space. Having 3 full baths was very nice! It had lots of necessary supplies such as paper towels etc. We liked the lake decor in the house. Plenty of parking. Outdoor area was good for younger children or older adults, not too steep to get to the dock. Better fishing than swimming from the dock for younger children. Nice and quiet located at the end of the cove. It was our first time to visit Grand Lake and although we wanted to be on the main lake, this house was just around the corner from where we rented a boat and was a larger house than those available on the main lake. Dan was great, responded quickly, even called to tell us we could have a late check-out. However, I missed the call and needed to get home. It was a nice gesture anyway. Overall, this place was a good choice for us. We cooked together, fished, went boating, and sightseeing. We had a great get-a-way and would definitely return return.

Amazing home!

We were there to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. The home was large and had two living areas which was great with kiddos. I can't say enough about the incredible cleanliness of this home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The dock, diving board, and second story dive platform entertained my kids all day. They also loved fishing off the dock. We can't wait to return one day soon! The owner was also wonderful and easy to get in touch with! Thank you so much!

Hidden Gem

We had two families together, 4 adults and 4 kids. The house was the perfect size for us all. The pictures really don’t do it justice. It was super clean and had plenty of disinfectant and hand sanitizer on hand for our stay during the pandemic. Other Pros: comfortable beds, cold ac, great quiet location, Lots and lots of storage space, 2 refrigerators/freezers, plenty of couch and patio seating, very nice showers, plenty of hot water(important when you have teenagers lol), kitchen had everything you could need, very close to a boat rental should you need it, fun dock with driving board, platform, fishing, and paddle boat. Easy walk to the dock, not steep at all. Dan was super easy to work with and tolerated all my questions very promptly. :) Cons: We had slight issue with the grill but was easily fixed when we cleaned it out. The propane was running low but Dan saved the day and was quick to get us another tank. One extra chair for the table would have been nice for our group of 8. We just brought a plastic patio chair up from the dock to use. We had a wonderful week and perfect weather! Seeing the deer so close everyday was so cool too. It was the perfect distance for our two families to meet. We hope to be back! :)

Family lake vacation

We go to Grand every summer with my mother, siblings and the 6 kids between us all. It is great to stay waterfront and have a place to dock the boats. The kids really enjoyed jumping off of the diving board and upper deck of the dock. The house had plenty of room to accommodate our large family. The only complaints were the sofa bed mattresses were very uncomfortable but we luckily brought an air mattress to sleep the remaining nights. It worked out. Thank you for sharing your home! Very well appointed rental

This house was very well kept and appointed. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you need for cooking. The property manager replied promptly with all questions and was very helpful. Location was great. Would stay here again.

Grand experience

This could not have gone better. Dan was very friendly, quick to respond and clear with instruction. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the back porch and dock SO much. Already anticipating a return trip.

Great family getaway

We had a fantastic time during our lake stay! Communication with the property manager, Dan, was top notch. Any questions we had, he was ready to help. The property was super clean. Plenty of cookware, dishes, a gas grill, and it was great to have a second fridge. Beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time enjoying the deck and the dock. Lots of hours spent floating in the quiet, calm cove or fishing from the dock and banks. Boat rental is within 3 minutes and a golf course is right across the street. There’s plenty to do (or not to do) depending on your preference. Highly recommend—we will be back!

The family was getting together for a close family trip.

Enjoyed our stay

It was very easy to rent and pay for, I never wonderful if everything was done or if more was needed. The house was clean and we didn't feel like we needed to clean before we could unpack. The area was amazing. Daniel the property manager was spot on with any and all questions we had. 100% would stay here. Daniel you made our stay memorial. That's what it's all about.
