Island Sun – Gulf Front, Volleyball Pit, Updated 2021, Gorgeous beach house!

Island Sun is a first-row beach house set back on a large gulf front lot that leaves plenty of room to hang out with your friends! It comes with its own volleyball pit! Prepare for fun and games! The home was purchased in Spring 2021 and updated throughout with new furniture and lighting. The property has tremendous views from the living room, dining room, and kitchen and lots of natural light and beach sunshine. Island Sun is full of charm and offers everything you need to have the beach getaway you have been dreaming of.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for longer stays. Everything you need for a great beach vacation is here!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

This was the perfect house. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The ocean view was nice. Right on the beach, an easy walk to the water. I would definitely stay here again.

Great time!

Lots of good views from the master and living room. The porch was partially covered so you can enjoy time outside (but out of the sun), or enjoy a nice meal outside. The beach wasn’t crowded as there was private access from the house. Kids had a great time playing all the outside games!

I loved the property and the location. The cottage was delightful. The drive in was not well marked and I went into the wrong side and. got terribly stuck in the sand that required a tow to get out. Other then that it was a wonderful few days

Great location and great property

We had a great time. It was great being on the beach with plenty of activities for the kids. The shuffleboard court and volleyball court were a lot of fun. The house was clean and check in was a breeze. The manager communicated well and dropped by our first day to welcome us and answer any questions. Would happily rent again. The only downside was that the internet connection was fairly slow. But it was serviceable.

Loved dauphin island

We had a great stay in Dauphin Island. The house was cutely decorated and I loved all the windows that looked out to the gulf. Only suggestion would be to hire new housekeeping. It could’ve been a little cleaner. There was hair on the shower walls and empty shampoo/body wash bottles. The front bedroom had sand in the sheets (probably from the throw pillows being on the dirty floor when housekeeping was making the beds.) Other than those little hiccups we enjoyed our stay. The volleyball net was a hit with my kids!

Nice stay

This is a nice property with direct beach access.. Perfect for just sitting on the beach while staying close to home. The house could definitely use some updates but nothing that would discourage me from staying again. The only complaint we really had were the ants in the kitchen. Even though we kept the kitchen clean and free of food on the countertops, there were always ants. We did let the rental company know but never got a response back. All in all, it was still a great getaway and very relaxing.

Great for the price

We loved the rental. There were some safety issues in that there is a fence under the home that is covered partially with sand making the rusted wire difficult to see. Additionally, the picture shows a stack of white lounge chairs on the deck but they are not able to be used as they are completely rusted out. The deck needs some updates having rusted areas and nails sticking out so we had to watch our toddler well. These are easy things to remove and aside from it we loved the house! The view can't be beat and the home was made very comfortable. The mattress on all the beds were nice and clean as well as all the bedding. We enjoyed the stay and would rent again from this property management company any day! Thank you so much!

Like a small slice of paradise

The best part is it not feeling like you are in a tourist trap. Locally owned restaurants and not a bunch of strip malls. If you want to enjoy the beach without all the fuss I would stay on Dauphin Island. We will certainly stay again!

Gorgeous property with the perfect location

The home and location were exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed our time immensely and will absolutely look to return when we can. Sunrises, sunsets, the porch, the AMAZINGLY comfortable beds- this was exactly what we needed. Be aware that you need multiple days in advance to secure parking passes from the local police so do this before you arrive!
