Find secluded, woodsy comfort at the Bare Bear Cabin in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Relax outside in the hot tub while you gaze into the trees or chill out in one of the overstuffed chairs by the fireplace. Bring your flirty side and be the master of kitsch with the indoor heart-shaped jacuzzi! This quaint cabin is immersed in nature but still close to the action of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Perfect for 2-3 guests.

Location was awesome

Very relaxing beautiful cabin and views. No problem finding the cabin. Would definitely stay again and refer to friends. Needs dusted better and a few little things needs fixed.

Spring Break 2023

This property was amazing, and the hosts were even better! It was an absolute perfect place for the two of us. Location was very nice because everything seemed to be no more than 30 minutes away. Nice little secluded cabin, and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place

This is an adorable cabin and it was very clean! Nice and secluded. Negatives are the road getting to it is tricky and not much room for your car by the cabin. Also, we were provided very few towels for a week long stay and it took a couple days to get more after the request.

If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful spot this is it, although it doesn't have a mountain view it feels like you are in the tree tops still so beautiful, and we saw Turkey every day.

It was perfect for our stay. The only minus is that we wish there were lamps in the living area instead of having to use overhead light at night.

Cabin was very clean, It's small but perfect for two people. Hot tub was a bit dated but still functional and enjoyable. The Wi-Fi worked very well. Wish it had had a bigger closet But it did have a very nice dresser so that made up for it. The bed was very firm which I loved! It was missing a curtain/blinds over the front door but they were very responsive to getting that fixed. Overall it's a very nice place to stay, very secluded only two other cabins nearby but far enough away that it still felt private. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Nice cabin dog friendly

Overall we were satisfied with cabin. It had everything we needed. The outdoors seating was not inviting the cushions on chairs were dirty, and I know it is in the forest but it could use some wash, lots of stains. Nice that it had hot tub; however, I am aware it needs some bleach but it was overwhelming and irritated my eyes so we did not use it at all. Nice quiet wooded area, not many trials to walk in neighborhood..

Overall love that it was secluded and it was a smaller place which I loved. Other note i wish there was dish towels and more than one sponge. I will say even though it accomodates 4 it is geared more towards people without kids rather than people with kids. I absolutely loved it.

Family getaway

Everything was great! The TV didn't work (probably due to severe storms that hit a day before we arrived). I called and informed our host, but our intentions were to visit Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. TV wasn't a priority so no need to rush up. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our steaks grilled right there with a baked potato with butter and sour cream! Does it get any better?! 👍

Nice quiet cabin with hot tub privacy

This cabin was very clean and cozy! The completely private country setting was beautiful even though the time we visited the leaves were not out yet. We heard turkeys gobble in the early morning. The cabin was decorated cute. It is a romantic get away. The bed is a Queen but very comfortable. We have our own business and needed a cabin located with food cell service for AT&T or Verizon. We used both work phones with data for our computers and the service was excellent! There was a smart TV that we used to watch some television and WiFi was available, we just didn’t use it for our work computers. It is not far from town. We enjoyed eating out quite often snd seeing a couple dinner shows in Pigeon forge. We spend some time at Great Smokey National park and Gatlinburg. Dollywood is close but we didn’t go there. I highly recommend this cabin for a couple on a honeymoon or just wanting some romance.. when checking in there was a digital lock that you can not see the numbers until you start touching them. I had a hard time at first so I called and was immediately able to speak with the property manager who was able to tell me to press the unlock picture after the code. They also texted and kept us up to date on any area warnings. Excellent communication!

Nice for seclusion

We only had a short stay but it was nice and we had a good time. The drive to get there the roads are twisty and turney and super thin roads deffinately not made for 2 cars. Thought we were gunna get hit around every turn because the people that actually live there drive fast around everything. This is one reason i wont be staying at this location again going to stay in town.next time. But we loved not having close neighbors and the seclusion. We had to turn up the temp on the hot tub buttons control pannel was messed up but eventually got it to work. Pretty clean your gunna find a spider or 2 because your in the woods. Found some other long bug one night. Microwave doesnt open all the way gets stuck on the wall. Water pressure isnt the best tried the jacuzzi took a while to fill up because the water pressure wasnt good but the jets worked good after filling and was good relaxing time. None of the tea lights worked. But we gave our overall experience a 7.5.

Post surgery

We had booked this get away and then I had emergency appendectomy two days before the trip so we spent a lot of time at the cabin and it was perfect! Very relaxing and peaceful with all the amenities we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin itself was just perfect! I will be back for sure!
