A private, comfortable unit in Aquarius On The Strand - The perfect spot with amazing ocean views!

Amazing well appointed studio apartment with THE BEST ocean views! Close to all of the great cafe's and restaurants dotted along the Strand & around the corner in Gregory Street where you'll find an array of specialty shops. Close to the night life and within walking distance to the inner city or the fabulous walkways along the beach frontage with Kissing Point, The Rockpool and stinger enclosures for swimming.

From The Strand you might decide to walk to Pallarenda Beach at one end or the Marina at the other. The Strand is a 2.2km stunning beachfront promenade custom-built for enjoyment. Along this palm tree lined stretch are bike and walkway paths, safe swimming beaches, picturesque picnic spots, playgrounds, exercise stations, a water park and restaurants and bars with to-die-for water views. This apartment puts you right in the middle of it all!

This unit features fridge, table, chairs, a queen bed from which you can enjoy the view in the morning.

Property is nice with amazing views. It is a little outdated with cheap plastic chairs and only 1 bedside table. You have to unplug the wifi or nightlight to charge your phone...

Park your car early at night though - the hotel carpark fills up quickly and you’ll end up on the road.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Probably the most appalling hotel booking I have ever made. We originally booked at Aquarius, Townsville, via but the booking was intercepted by Holiday Hosting in Townsville which offered a slightly reduced rate. However, Holiday Hosting’s admin + booking + processing + cleaning fees amounted to some 10% of the final base fee for the hotel.Holiday Hosting stated that the accommodation was a self-contained, one bedroom studio apartment. It most certainly was not. The accommodation was a normal hotel room with a microwave oven. The room was crowded with a queen and a single bed, two plastic chairs and a plastic table, with very little space to actually move around. They also boasted of a washing machine. There was no washing machine. In addition, the air conditioning did not work and there was no fan, not even a cheap table fan from the Reject Shop. There were no tissues and for the eye-watering fee of $500 per night I expect a $2 box of tissues. The décor of the room was cheap and nasty.What a mistake to book with this organization, a mistake I shall not be repeating.

Reviewer Comments: had 2 days booking at aquarius 703...done online 2 weeks prior to dates booked....due to flight delays from brisbane...reached destination at 11.30pm....could not get into phone calls or messages or emails left for me as to how to get access to the room....midnight had to book another room at another hotel...received 6 messages has to how to get access next day....asking for refund for 1 night stay which we didnt use....all my emails for this is SIMPLY IGNORED...I AM NOT EXISTING AS IF.....because it was rugby game all hotels were fully booked everywhere...i believe because we were not checked in by 2pm....they presumed we wont turn up and gave the room to someone else....Pathetic

The lovely lady behind the counter done her job perfectly. Helped me out as I was having troubles with my phone. I stayed at the aquarium few weeks before I booked in with you guys. I will say your room presentation was 10 times better in every way. I will be booking with you guys whenever I’m in Townsville again I promise you that.

Naturally passionate about finance and wealth creation. I am also a keen property investor myself. I’ve been a passionate host and Super Host for over seven years. I was fortunate to attend the hosting conference in L.A.
In November 2016 and I gained many valuable insights from it. I own one of my own properties and host on behalf of other lovely property owners, and I enjoy helping them achieve their financial goals and ensuring all guests delight in their holiday experience.
