Good location, many amenities

We had a getaway last weekend. It was a nice place overall. Oceanfront view was great. Ideal for a couple, thought it has 2 beds. The appliances and bathroom might need a little upgrade, but it is the best place to stay for the price.

Great owners, mostly poor everything else

First let me start by saying that the owners for this condo were great and the majority of my complaints are out of their control. The owners were very responsive to any of my questions and I never had to wait to get an answer. The following are the Pros and Cons of this rental: PROS- the condo has been fully updated with new appliances, flooring throughout, paint and others. The condo also has great access to the beach and many pools to choose from. There are great ocean front views from the room as well. It is a little on the small side so having more then four people is a bit much. CONS- let’s start with the parking garage IT IS A NIGHTMARE! It is very tight, single lane, very low overhead clearance, dark and the elevator was always broke. Other then the top floor there aren’t a ton of spaces on each level especially the levels that cross over to the condo building. The condo building itself seems dingy. All of the outdoor floors are covered with outdoor carpet that smells of mold and mildew and is very dirty. The elevators to get to and from the room were constantly breaking and when you are on the 11th floor trying to carry bags and gather children it can be rather irritating to have to climb 8 or more flights of stairs to unload your car! Upon entering the room we were greeted with FILTHY floors. The floors were covered with sand and turned our feet black. We were forced to purchase swifter mops and sweeps to clean the floors ourselves on day one. The bathroom was also dirty with the shower walls having some type of a yellow gel substance. The furniture in the room is cheap. I am an average sized man and one of the table chairs broke while I was sitting on it. The condo itself is situated between two condo buildings that are in much better shape including one with an indoor water park. All in we made the best of it and had a good time in Myrtle Beach SC but we will not be booking with this condo building again. The cleanliness issues are the fault of the cleaning company and not the owners who did try their best to provide their guests with a quality vacation condo. Unfortunately for the price we just expected more especially with the parking garage.
