Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath vacation home, Capri #102, located on the 1st floor above the ground level of the oceanfront high-rise building Capri by the Sea.
Relax to the sound of the waves hitting the beach from this 1st floor paradise. Walk along the boardwalk right outside the front door and hit the beach to enjoy the sun and surf. Capri by the Sea has many unique condos and this unit is no exception. The views have been highlighted in this unit with floor to ceiling windows that encompass every inch of the viewable space you could have from this amazing home. The views are simply breathtaking.
You will never miss a sunset here! The open California-style kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and eating comfortably at home. The condo sleeps a family of 6. The large bedroom features 2 queen size beds. The living room sofa easily converts into a queen size bed for additional sleeping space. (Ask us for photos!) We provide all the linens and towels needed. The outdoor heated pool, hot tub and lounging area is located just east of the main Capri building and is accessible with your key fob. Additionally we provide beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys.
Attention Guests: Until February 2025, the assigned parking space for this unit will need to be clear for the piping project that is currently in process at Capri by the Sea. During this time, guests of condo #102 are permitted to park in the 15 minute parking zone closest to the lobby door inside the upper garage.
NEED MORE ROOM? If you would like to travel with extended family or other families, we have three 1-bedrooms and three 2- bedrooms in this building; three in a row on the 9th floor, 909, 910 and 911 plus 1005 and 1010 right above them.
Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo's floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs.
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)
*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about our home!

Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.
With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!
Guests have access to rooftop deck with multiple gas BBQs, seating and lounge chairs. There is a communal pool and hot tub located next door that can be accessed by the key fob.
Customer service is a high priority to us. We like to make sure you have what you need before you arrive and get settled into our home. We are available whenever you need us, 7 days a week and after hours!

Included covered parking spot in underground garage with additional outside parking spots available on a first come first served basis for an additional weekly rate. (Please inquire at the Capri front desk if additional parking is needed)
Please note: The look-out terraces at the Capri are NOT for standing or sitting. DO NOT lean on the railings. Capri by the Sea has asked for our cooperation in their new safety proceedings. The incredible views of the beach, boardwalk and ocean are not affected!
Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!
Nightly Minimum Policy:
2-4 night minimum required in the off season.
☀️ Holidays:
5 night minimum. There are no arrivals on Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
☀️ Summer:
Memorial Day - Labor Day, 5 night minimum. No arrivals on Independence Day (July 4).
Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.
To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.
This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.
🐾 Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted at this property. Guests who bring a pet that is not a service animal will be fined by the HOA.
