Osprey’s Landing - Executive Oceanfront Beach House

Osprey’s Landing is a 3000 sq ft executive oceanfront beach house located in the heart of Malpeque Bay. Nestled on a private 2 acre lot, enjoy 180 degree water views and direct access to your own private beach. ‘Kite point’ is considered a kiteboarding paradise!

The customized design features 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths over three levels. Two bedrooms on the main level each have a queen bed. Second level has a Queen master and ensuite as well as a second large bedroom with two double beds. The third level loft has two twin trundle beds which can comfortably sleep 4.

This cozy beach house is great for large families (or multiple families), groups of kite boarders or someone looking to sit back and privately enjoy the tranquil views PEI has to offer.

This home is equipped with an outdoor shower for sandy beach days, a large games room in the garage (table tennis, fooseball, putting green, darts, cornhole), 2 kayaks and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows in the evening.

Centrally located, 20 minutes to Summerside, 30 minutes to Cavendish and 50 minutes to Charlottetown. This cottage is located near many great beaches, golf courses and restaurants.

Bay views

The house the and the views are amazing! It was a great location for quick trips to Cavendish, Charlottetown, and the North of the Island. Also close to some great beaches and restaurants. This house had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing family weekend.

Cozy Cottage with Great Views

Our extended family of 6 + 2 had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Lots of space inside and out. The weather was overcast and rainy for much of our stay, but we really enjoyed the fireplace which made it very cozy.

Nice option for a big family

We had a great time on our stay! We’ve been coming to PEI for decades and enjoyed getting to know Malpeque Bay. The house was plenty big enough for our large family and our kids enjoyed the room with the skylights in the evening. We also enjoyed being able to walk down to and along the beach!

Wonderful week

We had a wonderful week in PEI -- the house was beautiful and the weather was perfect. We walked along the beach, kayaked, ate good seafood, and sat around the fire in the evenings. Emily was a great and communicative host. We’d love to return!

Absolutely fabulous!

We were a group of two families vacationing together. We have spent summers on the island for many years. The property owners were wonderful, great communication, and very responsive. The location is great and the house has everything required for a relaxing getaway on the beautiful bay. Can’t wait to visit again!

KiteBoard Heaven

Eight adults stayed for the week. The house is gorgeous and right on the beach. Our kiteboarders were able to launch directly from the house. House has great decks, stocked kitchen and open air spaces. We loved the sunny days, sitting in the water in our beach chairs, mountain biking and of course fresh seafood. WE have already booked for next year. Hoping they add a 2nd floor bathroom for a perfect house. Great location and highly recommend.

A slice of heaven

The location is perfect, true tranquility within minutes from the best the island has to offer. The house was immaculate and complete with all amenities one could dream. Waking up in the morning gazing over Malpeque bay and the fisherman tending their oyster farms was a priceless start to each day we were there. After hours at the beach we made good use of the extremely well equipped kitchen to prepare our meall, then relax by the fireplace and go stargazing before bed. Many thanks to the owners.

Beautiful, spacious space!

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of rooms and space for the kids to run around and play. Check in was easy, and Emily was very responsive. Only thing that would have been nice to know was how bad the mosquitos would be at the property. Our kids couldn't enjoy the outside property/beach because they would be carried away by mosquitos. No fix, but a good to know for next time! Otherwise, it was an amazing getaway place and beautiful, clean and spacious property! We had a great time here.

Just beautiful

This was a lovely place to stay in PEI with our two families (4 adults and 6 kids from ages 3-16). It is fairly remote but it is not too hard to get your bearings. Kensington is the closest town we found for groceries etc (a 15-18 minute drive). The house itself is beautiful and sitting on the back deck was one of the highlights of our trip, particularly after some help from our host in tackling some mosquitoes. Please note that the house has 2.5 bathrooms as stated in the narrative description (the listing information says 4 for some reason). We enjoyed family games around the large kitchen table and appreciated the garage activities, beach towels, and household staples that were provided. The book selection was a wonderful surprise! Emily was a very responsive and informative host before, during and after our stay. You will enjoy your time at this beautiful property!

Paradise in PEI

Property is beautiful, well maintained, in an absolutely fantastic location on private beach. The ocean beach and kayaks provided days of entertainment. Hosts went out of thwir way to ensure a welcoming and comfortable set-up for us. Easy drive to many sites, beaches, and fabulous restaurants.

Beautiful spot for a family vacation

We gathered 12 family members from across Canada and Germany for a week’s stay on late summer and our stay was fantastic. The house was exactly as described and had absolutely everything we needed. And the view was exceptional. The loft room for three kids was a great way of them to have their own space. The kitchen was well stocked and was a great space for large family meals. Although we had to battle mosquitoes, the deck space is gorgeous and being able to kayak off the beach right out front was great. The location is great with great seafood, beaches and even a little breakfast cafe within 10 minutes (just have to navigate the sometimes rough dirt road!). The central location made it easy to plan day trips to almost every part of the island. What a great way to bond with family and explore beautiful PEI!

Beachfront Dream

The beachfront cottage was unbelievable. Every morning we woke up we loved the waterfront view. It had everything we needed and thensome. Lots of space for eating and socializing. Also, so close to Cabot beach, one of our favorite spots while visiting. Lots of great restaurants within a 45 min drive. They had everything you needed for a day at the beach (chairs, towels and toys), or if you wanted to have your own lobster boil. I would highly recommend to anyone and we would love to go back one day!

Vacation 2022

Our family came from Ottawa, Ontario and Amherst, NS to visit the island of PEI and was a first time visit for all of us. The cottage was spacious and accommodated the whole family (8 adults and 2 kids). The kitchen was very equipped, beds very comfortable and lots of reading material and puzzles for everyone. The grand outdoor space was used for our family olympic's and numerous games. The garage games room did come in handy for the evenings as the mosquitos came in droves. Our views of the water and sunsets were stunning and we were able to see some kite surfing which we loved watching. It was only a short drive away to some of the beaches in the area that we could play in the waves and swim. Our host Emily was very responsive with any questions we had about the property. This was a gorgeous cottage and would recommend this rental.

Beautiful spot in the heart of PEI

This cottage is gorgeous, super comfortable, a very well appointed kitchen and generally outfitted with absolutely everything needed for a fun and relaxing stay. We were two families of four (kids ages 3-6) and there was more than enough room for all of us. The views are beautiful with stunning sunrises and sunsets. It’s a super short drive or bike ride to Cabot beach and also within a couple hours to either coast for a day trip. We had a few rainy days and we were more than happy to hang out in and around the cottage as there was loads for littles and adults to do. The kids loved the upstairs loft and trundle beds. Emily was an excellent host; she was super helpful and very accommodating. We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful home and property with lots of room!

This property truly felt like a home! I find vacation rentals often feel cold, sterile, and filled with Ikea... this property was nothing like that! It truly felt like a family home with tons of personality - the way it was furnished (inside and outside) and decorated gave so much warmth. The house has a great layout with loads of space so you don't feel like you're tripping over everyone else. The outside of the property is stunning - gorgeous views and waterfront. If you go for any walks, bring some bug spray (but where is that not the case on PEI?!). Emily was very responsive, helpful, and a lovely host. We will be back!!

Birthday Weekend Getaway

Had a fabulous few days away in this lovely house. Had everything we needed. Emily was a great host. We had great weather and we’re able to sit outside around the fire table so an added bonus. Beach a few steps away so the oceans on your doorstep. We stay there again!

Family Weekend

Cottage was perfect for the 4 generations of my family. The many games of various types that were available were much appreciated. The only problem for me was access to the shore. The young ones were able to get up and down without difficulty, however I was not able to risk it. Overall it was a fun getaway for the family.

Great experience fun times

The check in process was easy and property was clean and ready to go. Kitchen was well stock and was easy to entertain for our whole crew of 11. Emily promptly responded to any queries we had. Overall was a great stay and I look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful view

We really enjoyed staying at this place. The view of Malpeque Bay is amazing. The house has lots of space and is well equipped. Our hosts were always quick to respond with answers and advice on things to see and places to eat.
