This modern architectural design is spacious and beautiful, and designed to keep the heat out in the middle of summer while letting you open up the windows and enjoy the beautiful coastal air.

Gingers’ clever design accommodates multiple families with kids, with a studio separate from the main building containing three beds, a kitchenette and small bathroom, plus a TV, gaming console and bookshelf full of kids books. A smaller family in the group can enjoy a bit of privacy, or the noisiest kids can be given their own space to hang out apart from the adults.

Start your day with an espresso on the outdoor breakfast bar and enjoy the sounds of birds in the towering trees that hug the backyard. In the near-constant beautiful weather in the Shoalhaven, you can enjoy meals on the outdoor dining table, with lunch prepared in the massive modern indoor kitchen and cooked on the BBQ outside.

Cool off inside in the air conditioning and watch Netflix on the couches in one of several living areas with TVs and gaming consoles, or battle it out over board games on the indoor dining table. Burn off some energy outside playing table tennis next to the carport or running around with your pets in the fully-fenced backyard, or grab some towels and walk just a few streets over to Callala Beach and enjoy the waves and white sands of Jervis Bay, rinsing off the sand in the outdoor shower or the three separate indoor showers when you return.

Remember to bring marshmallows, because in the evenings you’ll be gathering around the firepit under the best view of the milky way you’ve ever seen. Enjoy late nights staying up talking around a crackling fire, and long days exploring everything that the Shoalhaven has to offer. The owners recommend checking Pelican Rocks Café (voted the best fish and chips in NSW) and Mr Nobody’s Gelato, and Jervis Bay has endless coastlines to enjoy.

The options are limitless no matter how you prefer to holiday, and Gingers will be your home away from home as you explore one of the most stunning locales in the country.

- Bedroom 3 is a (2) Tri Bunk (1 x Double below and 1 x Single on top)
- We supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. You may wish to bring additional supplies with you.
- Internet in regional areas can be inconsistent and uninterrupted supply is not guaranteed. We will not provide compensation for failure or unexpected unavailability of internet services.
- Whilst the majority of properties provide access to streaming services, guests may be required to log in via their own accounts.

- Air conditioning: The property has air conditioning in the living area, dining area and 2 bedrooms.
- We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property (it does not record speech) and allows us to respond to noise issues. - This is a families only property and only permits a combination of adults and kids up to the maximum capacity. No groups of adults are permitted unless an intergenerational family group.
- We welcome responsible guests that will not cause disturbance to our neighbours.
- For our pet friendly properties, pets are welcome inside but not on furniture or beds (please bring a blanket).
- After booking you must sign a rental agreement. Please contact us prior to booking if you'd like to view a copy.
- No schoolies, parties, bucks or hens groups are permitted.

Fantastic place to unwind

Private, great amenities & excellent set-up of external accommodation. Backing onto bush but also having beach within walking distance. To be able to have our dogs was the icing on the cake. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and spacious

The house is clean and is well laid out for many guests. It is good for winter or summer as we used the firepit out the back. Very close to the beach and bush right behind.

Escaping the rain

We had 3 families stay on a really wet weekend. Amazing house to be holled up in. Amazing kitchen area for big families . Kids loved the xbox and ping pong table. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and modern. Would go back again.

Perfect for family holiday destination

Exact same excellent quality as shown in photos. BBQ very well maintained. So many entertainment options in-house too, like dvds and books. Bathroom and bedrooms all very clean. Rooms spacious. Laundry equipments nice. Kitchen is amazing. Very short walk to beach to see sunrise. We all so much enjoyed.

Lovely place to holiday with the family

The property was beautiful, all very clean. We had a one year old with us, and it was a great open space for him to practise his walking skills down stairs and with doors closed it was easy on all of us. The yard was great for our dog and my daughter enjoyed alone time in the granny flat. Short walk to the beautiful beach, and close drive to do a little fishing. The walk to the footbridge was lovely and we had great weather. Highly recommend Gingers, would definitely go back again. My Husband and I, loved having time with our 3 Daughters, Son-in-law and Grandson.

Great for group family holidays

The place was very well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen and dining was nice and large with plenty of glassware & crockery and bench space for cooking & prepping. Loved the separate living areas, including the granny flat which was was perfect for the kids. The beach was an easy 5 min flat walk in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Great backyard with an outdoor shower to rinse off & clean beach gear. Great for pets as well but note, not ideal for small pets in the yard as there are gaps in the fence that they could fit through. Overall a great holiday & would return!

Group Holiday

Overall very good experience. Everything clean and well presented. Games cupboard well stocked. Ping pong table was a hit as was fire pit and bbq. Outdoor shower made beach clean up easier. Yard big enough for family games. Only found shed second day unfortunately but really helpful when we did. Bed configuration was not ideal for our situation but we made it work All up great holiday home. Would recommend to others

A modern spacious home in a great location!

We are a multigenerational family who stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. Pros: Great location. Easy, flat walk to the beach. Beautiful beach, Beautiful big kitchen with plenty of bench space and cutlery, plates, glasses etc for large group. Everything was in working order. Beautiful decor and modern design and amenities. Great kids/ family cupboard with toys and board games. IGA and shops only 7 mins away and it has a deli and is well stocked! Shower outside to wash off after the beach. Nice quiet location. Plenty of parking space 3-4 cars. Very responsive, we were down 3 towels for our group but a quick call and towels were delivered that night! Quick response which was fabulous. Friendly feedback: Unfortunately, the residence is a bit run down & needs a spring clean inside and out, dead flies all on window sills and floor upon arrival, cobwebs all over windows and outside walls . Walls and architraves need a good clean as do the window and door tracks. Bunk beds need a good tighten, a bit shaky. Minor adjustments to make this house feel amazing and do it justice! All in the detail :) This is a wonderful spacious home with fantastic bed/bedroom set up. Beds were tidy and clean, as were rooms. So handy having a cot, high chair and baby gates available to use too! I would stay again!!

Perfect for families, close to beautiful beach

Gingers was the perfect place for our family (4 couples and 3 young children). Just a short walk to beautiful Callala beach with super soft white sand and crystal clear waters. We had so much space to ourselves at the beach, we were there for hours on end. The property was clean and spacious and comfortable. Open plan kitchen & eating area made it very easy for our big family. A must stay!

Nice holiday home

The house was a great holiday home, only thing that let it down was the extremely uncomfortable beds in the granny flat out the back.

As such we limit our communications to a few important emails, but otherwise we will leave you alone! If you are looking for a host that provides welcome platters on arrival, champagne in the fridge and who will contact you throughout your stay, we may not be the right host for you.

What you will get from us are well equipped, fairly priced, pet and family friendly holiday homes that are loved by their owners.

We work in a people business and very infrequently things go wrong - if this happens we will do our best to rectify the situation immediately. In busy periods it may take us a few hours to get to messages so picking up the phone is the fastest and best way for us to provide you with the support you need in an urgent situation.

As we are a licensed real estate agent you can be assured that all properties are fully insured, meet fire safety standards and are registered with NSW planning.
