We came here with our crate trained mini Schnauzer. He enjoyed the property and having the section fenced was great. Very quite neighborhood, close to Middletons Bay for a beach walk, and easy as to get onto the Opunake Loop walk which he enjoyed every morning. A variety of beach, river and lake views House had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

A great place to stay for a family get away , lots of space, awesome outside area with a large lawn.

Good spot for a break

The property suited our needs nicely. Good wood burner was useful for the cooler weather, plenty of dry firewood on hand. Nice modern kitchen and lounge area with plenty of space. Enjoyed stay

This property is perfect for a family or group of friends holiday. It was great to arrive after a long drive to find everything so clean and tidy. It would be great in the winter too with the wood burner.

The perfect get-away

My dog and I were looking for a break, and it was lovely to find this spacious, secure property in an attractive township with the two beaches nearby - the house, the section and the location meant that I could fully relax without worrying about the dog - who enjoyed the break as much as I did!

Opunake getaway

The property managers are great communicators. It was a good spot for a friend and I with a couple of dogs. Always nice to find a good place that allows for you to bring the dogs! I’d stay again - clean and tidy, fire to keep warm and not far from the beach and shops.

Awesome spot for a beach getaway

Great bach, spacious and clean with an awesome backyard and walking distance to the beach. Only improvement would be a few more utensils in the kitchen - we were a group of 8 and there weren't enough forks or bowls for us all to eat at the same time. Apart from that we loved our stay!

Opunaki Stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the house is open and has a relaxing to stay in. We may come back sometime in the future. The weather didn't play ball only got a glimpes of the mountain on Monday coming back from Whanganui. It was a great stay myself and my wife enjoyed the atmosphere.
