great Mammoth Cave location

host are very friendly and helpful, great quiet location plenty of room and outdoor area, our dog loved the free open spaces and got along with the host dogs. would highly recommend for a lovely get away

Perfect stay

Great super responsive host with a lot of extra help. Lot of extra touches and huge property our kids enjoyed exploring as well as getting to know the friendly dogs and kids on the property. Perfect location to get to park easily across ferry.

Absolutely fabulous!!!

Tracy made us feel like family, not much more can be said. The apartment was very comfortable and inviting. The beautiful surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Looking forward a the next opportunity to visit.

Wonderful stay on the farm!

We had a wonderful stay on this property. It is off the beaten path, so to speak, and definitely gives you a southern country feel as you drive in and out each day. The host family was so accommodating, even helping us fill in where we were missing some necessities. The room was clean and functional. We got to know the hosts, and it felt a lot like we were visiting family. Our kids loved the playhouse and all the animals (horses, rabbits, Guinea pigs, and lots of dogs)! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Wonderful Hosts and beautiful apartment and grounds!

This was by far the most welcoming home stay we have ever experienced. Tracy and family were so kind and welcoming to our family. The apartment has all the necessities and then some. The location is beautiful with horses, guinea pigs and beautiful gardens. We had a wonderful time and will stay here again if given the opportunity to be in Kentucky! Highly recommend and would give 10 stars if that were a choice.

The people to access they come and went as they pleased,the dogs were in and dog hair all over.

Dogs come in and out as pleased, owners was in and out no primacy.

From the owner: "We are so sorry that you felt like your privacy was compromised during your visit. Evolve has been very clear in the description of our property being listed as an 'apartment', also stating that we have 6 dogs. Even though there is a dog door that is on place for our dogs, 2 of them were penned the entire time of your visit as they are young, very large, and have less than stellar manners. Three of them spent most of their time upstairs in our home. The final dog is quiet, calm, loves people, and has excellent manners, never bothering anyone. As far as your privacy, we do not share any portion of the apartment with our guests outside of the entry door as the wardrobe cabinets house mud boots, coats, and other outdoor gear needed in order to manage horses, dogs, and other outdoor responsibilities. Upon arrival you and your family were welcomed with open arms. All of the kids played outside on our playground, played basketball, and our girls enjoyed making friends with them. We have hosted 30+ families to date and I am very upfront with each family that arrives, letting them know that we live on our 50 acre property and that we will see one another. We are a very active family and have a lot of fun here that we wanted to share with anyone that may search out a place to stay that is warm, inviting, and inclusive. I am sorry that what we offer here at our home, isn't what you were looking for. I hope your daughter played well at her softball game and everyone had a safe trip home. Thank you for your feedback!"

We were a party of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids). We really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the horses and dogs. There was so much for them to do. It was wonderful to see them unplug and enjoy their time here. Tracy and her family were so welcoming. Their property is beautiful and peaceful. It was one of the best stocked vacation rentals we have stayed at. Tracy has really thought of everything you might need and more. We would highly recommend to anyone.

A nice trip

We enjoyed our stay here. The host family all were very nice, helpful, and let us do our own thing. The property is beautiful and my kids loved seeing all the animals and spending time in the pool. The main issue I had was a lack of a way to secure our portion of the house with a lock. The family there was nice but they are still strangers and i would sleep better knowing they could not just walk in at night if they chose to. I also was disappointed the tv was not smart so the only tv option was dish.

Beautiful farm, sweet host family, our kids loved playing with their kids and our dog had a blast!

We are a large family with 6 kids and we also brought our 60 lbs puppy dog along for her first trip away from home. We have a small farm in Ocala so we figured from the description, we'd probably feel at home. And yes! We were all very comfortable and when we weren't hiking or at Mammoth Cave, we enjoyed playing basketball with their kids and they also have a fun playset over the creek the little ones loved. We asked if they would let our puppy out some while we were at Mammoth Cave. They played with her and took great care of her. Tracy and her family made sure our stay was perfect! We look forward to coming back to visit on our next trip to the area.

We LOVED our stay! Tracy made us feel like old friends not just guests. The property is so peaceful and not to mention gorgeous. Everything you need is in the rental and if it isn't Tracy can handle that! It was so cozy and we all slept so well. Super hot water which is always a bonus. This was truly the weekend we all needed and cannot praise this place enough. Let's not forget how the dogs were such a great addition. Really made it feel like "home" not just a vacation rental.

Unique and very comfortable!

Property was spotless and provided every possible amenity. Tracy was a wealth of information and readily available and responsive to anything we needed. Location was very close to the caves. Unfortunately the river was too low for the ferry to run, but Tracy was quick to provide alternate directions. We had a wonderful trip!

Fantastic

The homeowners were absolutely fantastic! There kids were absolutely sweet & my daughter had a blast playing with them. This is the most furnished place I’ve ever stayed! They go above and beyond anything I could have expected.

The best accommodations we have ever had.

With four adults and four children, including two 1-year-old babies, we were nervous to find accommodations. It can be hard to entertain children and they can also be quite disruptive to others. We booked this location as it was close to everything we wanted to visit during our stay and had accommodations to entertain our older children. After speaking with Tracy, we were also told of additional accommodations to make our trip a little easier. When we arrived it was like being home. Tracy, her husband, and their children were all so kind and welcoming. The accommodations were gorgeous and everything was neat, clean, and refreshing. Our children played with their children and their children took to our babies and loved hanging out with us. They did not mind the commotion that came with us having little ones and really assured us the entire trip that our children were great! It made me,as a nervous mother, feel much more relaxed knowing my children were not a burden on our hosts. I could spend days raving about this, but I will jist say that in the end, we have found a forever destination in Kentucky and will continue to visit if for no other reason than to enjoy this beautiful accommodation and the beautiful family that runs it.

the location was so beautiful and relaxing. The owners are really kind and friendly. Everything was beyond our expectations and being able to bring our dogs was just a bonus!!! Our dogs had as much fun as us!! SUPER Place to stay.

Beautiful property!

We spent a couple of nights in the beautiful country setting and loved every moment. Our kids played in the pool and enjoyed the yard which included a great playground! Mammoth Cave was a quick and scenic drive away. The kids favorite part of the drive was the ferry across Green River. The host was so sweet and accommodating. Beautiful home and beautiful family!

Mammoth Cave Apartment

I had a great experience. Although there is some shared living space, Tracy and her family are excellent hosts, friendly but also respectful of one’s privacy. And the farm was beautiful! I would definitely stay again. Comfortable accommodations in an area of great scenic beauty with great hosts. While in the area I checked out the cave on a tour, rode my bicycle on the Mammoth Cave Railroad Trail, and had the best BBQ I’ve ever had from Walden’s! Wonderful stay:)

Great Place to Stay!

The charm of this property and the hospitality of the owner and family helped make this trip extra special. We enjoyed visiting with the family and loved the animals.
