Beautiful house! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, we enjoyed the games room. We had a great time. The only thing we wish there had been more kindling and some paper to start a fire for the sauna. We used the little kindling in the back to make a fire in the main fireplace, which was wonderful since it was raining.

Marcus is a host who truly cares about his guests. He sent us a message before our arrival followed by another message a few days later to check if everything was okay. The house is beautiful and full of little details that make all the difference. We really enjoyed our stay.

Property is well maintained, close to winderemere house hotel & winderemere park/marina at 4 minute walk.House is well sized, and as listing suggests it suitable for 6 adults and upto 2 kids for a comfortable stay.1 king size bed comes with ensuite bathroom (large room) , 2 queen size beds (decent size)and 1 double bed room (smallest of all rooms).Kitchen has all the utilities and well stocked.Pool room is great place to hangout and they have enough games like chess, monopoly ,puzzles and few more in TV room.Also they had netflix and amazon prime alongwith premium youtube.They have an amazing wood sauna for making the stay memorable.They had great patio outside with fall view colours on trees.And srive to and around property was great itself.Definitely recommend it to families.(It is bit far from huntsville and bracebridge, so stock before you reach the property)

Sibling Get together

With one sister visiting from Australia, it was great to have a lovely venue where we could be together, share stories, laugh and prepare some great meals! It was great being near the Windermere Resort and golf club. Thank you Marcus for providing us with a lovely home.

Mid-week getaway at The Manor

A lovely property in quaint Windermere Village. Marcus was an excellent host who provided lots of helpful details about the manor and surroundings. We loved the hiking recommendations and spent many happy hours playing pool.

Long weekend in Muskokas

The property was just as described, with all the amenities we needed. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The front porch was a lovely place for afternoon drinks, with a view of deer on the golf course. The spa was a fun added benefit!

Birthday Retreat

We saw this listing on our social feed and needed to see it! Lovely manor that makes you feel at home with pool table and sauna. There was a lot of snow and wished that the fire pit had been shovelled but sent our husbands out to do it! Lots of items in the kitchen-never a shortage of glasses and dishes. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were comfy Close to the Windermere Inn so we could walk for a bite to eat at the pub. Internet was sometimes spotty when trying to watch a movie. Overall an excellent experience.

This house was so amazing. We were four girls on a golfing trip! House was perfect. Golf right across the street. Marcus was in tough and made sure all was good. Will definitely be back!

Great location

Marcus the owner was very thorough on check in and check out information. He also sent information about the area and places to visit which was very helpful. The house itself is quite old, but we really enjoyed the backyard and the beach down the road. We saw many dear in the backyard which my kids loved.

Amazing Home for some Family Time

Beautiful stately home in lovely Windermere. This home had something for all our family. The games room was loved by the adults and the kids loved the outdoor spaces. Short little walk to a perfect shallow beach. The house was excellently maintained and decorated as shown in the photos. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. Best of times were had!!

Great Home in Windermere, Ontario

We had a wonderful family vacation in Windermere, Ontario at this four bedroom house. We enjoyed relaxing on the front veranda under the large, leafy tree! Because the Paris 2024 Olympics were in progress, we also enjoyed watching some of the events on the big screen television in the family room. Having a tradition, separate dining room was terrific for meals and entertaining friends during our stay.

Muskoka Manor was the perfect restful weeklong getaway spot for our family this summer. The house is a beautifully charming retreat, both inside and out, and offers an incredibly comfortable stay. Marcus' meticulous attention to every detail is evident throughout the property, from the tasteful decor to the well-appointed amenities. Everything we needed was close at hand, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Marcus was very responsive and attentive whenever we had any questions or needs. The location is ideal, conveniently close to the beach where we spent many delightful hours. We also took full advantage of the neighbouring resort's excellent spa and restaurants, which added an extra touch of luxury to our vacation. Overall, Muskoka Manor provided us with a serene and memorable family getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Awesome

Just got back from this amazing home! Marcus was great to deal with and helpful with any questions! The home has a charm that is not seen with newer homes. The yard was large and sitting around the front porch in the morning and the fire pit at night book ended great days. Location is great from golfing to dining, lounging by the water or a cold beverage at the pub 2 minutes walk away! We are already planning our next trip to this exceptional place! Thanks Marcus, my wife and family had a great time! Cheers

A Gem

The place is beautiful, tasteful and equipped with everything you would need. We had an amazing time sitting by the fire pit enjoying looking at the stars, had wonderful meals as the kitchen is very well equipped. A nice stroll down to the beach, since the property is very close to it and a scope of ice cream. He place is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The master bedroom shower was amazing and the games room a bonus. Certainly would recommend this place to friends and family. Look forward to going back, is Marcus and Jenn will have us!

A real gem!

We were looking for a place to escape during the Spring Break and, as it turns out, this was the perfect choice. A quiet retreat for the family! The games room was a real bonus, as was the proximity to some trails (don't miss Huckleberry Lookout—and don't turn back until you get to the actual rock!!!) Everything from beginning to end was exceptional. A beautiful home—well-appointed. I haven't slept this well in a long time. We would definitely put it on our "list of returns" if Marcus and Jen will have us back!
